I like the idea of it - but something about it really annoys me. Perhaps it's because I like rock music a lot, but the fact that they called this set "rock band" and yet the singer... looks nothing like a rock singer. Would've been nice (and probably made me really want to buy it, as well as if it had the guitar piece) if the singer looked like a rock singer.
At this year's EB event it was said about planning a date for next year's event soon. As far as I recall, a date wasn't decided and no topic or anything has been posted and we're getting closer to 2013. Has any date been fixed at all? I'd quite like to see if it fits within the time I have off or not.
Hi,
My friend is selling a fair deal of LEGO bricks on ebay. Sadly I don't have enough money to buy it, so I thought you might be interested. :)

Trying to decide what to put on the Christmas list...
I cannot decide between Mines of Moria and the X-Wing. I'm a massive LotR nerd if that helps. My absolute favourite book.
A very nice review of a very nice set! I too was extremely confused by the Troll de L'Isengard... Games Workshop would be pleased to see that.
A shame they didn't make it so that the tomb broke in two when you hit it on the top or made shorter dwarf skeleton legs, and I'll have to disagree with you on the shield. It's too much like the shields of the Isengard Uruk-hai in my opinion. But the rest of it is brilliant.
Now, if only I had some space!
I think that they will make him later on if the theme is successful (which I'm sure it will be), he's different enough to be his own minifigure and many very obscure characters from Star Wars have been released as minifigures. It would certainly be very nice if they did create him.
Well... my first impression is that it looks absolutely gorgeous. Then I took at the price... that made it somewhat less attractive.
I've never bought a UCS set, so I doubt I'll be forking out money on this. I'll just admire it.
At first I was like:
But now after some time I'm like:
Good work on it, thank you for using the pink sparingly. Now if only the damned weather in England could match this...
A lot of those sets are quite beach-styled or very summery, so it makes sense. But they probably are. I wonder why there are some periods where a certain thing appears in so many sets?
