  1. Exactly! I worry about the contents of the advent calender though. It will probably have too many rescue and airport/cargo workers.
  2. Those are quite old.
  3. Front, since you work with LEGO, I have to ask you a question. Which of the following results in LEGO parts yellowing faster: oxygen exposure or sunlight?
  4. It's because LEGO has to be verastile in some areas and less in others. EDIT: Thanks Ichiba.
  5. Loot! I also recieved two $25 USD iTunes Gift Cards, BOSE In-ear earbuds, B-25 Mitchell Model Airplane kit, and lots of other stuff from my wife and children.
  6. Please show me a decent cockpit that uses all bricks that is more streamlined than the one piece nose. In real life airplanes look exactly like that, not blocky and bulky... Also, it would be nice if people actaully checked before they post about a "new" picture which has been in the topic for at least 4 pages. Those images are NOT new, they are simply snips of a scan of the dealer catalog that have been blown up to the point that they are so blurry and pixelated that you can't see anything.
  7. I am pretty sure that is the rechargeable Battery Box.
  8. Hmm... -Zooms in- Yup, it come with the rechargeable one, because there are no TECHNIC holes on the side of the battery box. On the boxes, here is the list of Power Functions parts (sorry for size, they are from Brickset): 1. 2. 3. 4. Since it has a rechargeable battery box I wouldn't be surprised if the set contained one of these.
  9. Thank you for that link. I am confused, however, on which one is the final design? This: or this? The first one doesn't have a Preliminary stamp on it, so it might be a final, but at the same time, it might not be because the pig in the picture appears to be a mock-up instead of a finalized design.
  10. Very nice.. Is their an interior?
  11. Does it matter? Merry Christmas!
  12. Tiger, is your "source" reliable?
  13. --- Yes, Wootles ( the name ), some kids like civilian sets, but the vast majority would rather play with fire trucks or police cars. This is proven by the fact that the Fire Truck from 2005, when the CITY theme was first starting out, is still here.
  14. 1. McDonald's is a fast food restaurant. So is the Krusty Krab. None of those are diners. 2. How do the pictures express a popularity rate with kids?
  15. Do any of you think that kids have any interest in a diner? No. All they want to do is "vroom" the trucks around and "fill" them up. Why TLG, why...
  16. Wow, they had to ruin such a good set opportunity just to make a mundane truck stop. YAY! No. Instead of getting something useful like a monorail or a few civillian buildings, we get a damn truck stop. "We listen to our fans" should be changed to "we listen to the kids"! No civilian buildings, too many large trucks, an airport, and other crap we have seen too much of before. LEGO, what has happened to the good ol' days of 2009, full of civilian sets? What is next, are you going to rename this theme "Civilization"?
  17. But what made them unsafe? A puncture hazard?
  18. If you look at this picture, you can see that the hands printed on the box are holding one of these. In case you can't see the hands, they are holding this, a Power Functions IR speed regulator: Sorry for the resolution of the image, it's from Brickset.
  19. Very nice MOC. I like the sink and the over, but It would look even better if the floor had a black-white square pattern.
  20. That bridge does actually look good for a city, though.
  21. There was one in this Spider-man set, yet it only sat one minifigure despite being a taxi. Sorry for the size, it came from Brickset.
  22. I have lost all hope in anything other than the truck stop. All the trucks in it are going to be official sets. Bye Bye, monorail. That LEGO truck looks good though.
  23. Those are just picture cropped from the original scan, for example this picture.
  24. Meh, the new sets are okay, but before we get all fancy, we need a the core basics: A bank, post office, decent hospital, and such. Sorry, but I don't see the possibility for a Grocery because there is already Green Grocer.
  25. Aww.... That has to be the best picture in this topic in my opinion!
