  1. I'm just going to buy the train station so I can connect it to the one from 2007 (which is in the mail till Monday... ) . I'm sure they will complement each other very well.
  2. Medieval Market Village. Some excellent stuff in there, and you get two Giant buildings for only $100! And plus, MMV is set to be discontinued soon, so I would get it ASAP!
  3. Dam- My order is coming on the fourth! You know what I should do? Wait for other things while I wait for another thing! I shall wait for.... Bioshock 2! What a great game. On topic, I usually play Modern Warfare 2 spec ops. That is fun, and the missions never get boring. "Let's do this" -Ghost
  4. It is one piece, probably because there is no way that you can build a curve that smooth out of normal bricks... Or am I mistaken?
  5. Small-Medium: It's in my son's room, that explains the Hot-wheels mural in the background...
  6. I am sorry Svelte but that topic has everything to do with City 2010, because most of the torsos are repeated in the 2010 City sets, albeit a sweatshirt and a flight attendant's uniform. In fact, this is about City 2010 because most of the sets have over-used torsos and heads, right? Not to be rude, it's just both ideas have so much in common and are even associated with each other.
  7. From the site guidelines: Basically saying that kids are not advised to browse this site as this is an ADULT site with some ADULT content. If they do choose to browse it and find offensive material it is THEIR fault that they saw it. This isn't Playhouse Disney, parents! --- Anyways, nice vignette.
  8. It's a simple mistake that can be easily fixed... Why won't you, TLG?
  9. Nope, the first creator house was the Building Bonanza. I owned that one.
  10. No no, I was talking about this : Edit: This is post #1111 of this topic. Make a wish... I wish for a picture of 101211 Grand Emporium!
  11. Hasn't anyone noticed that at the top in the middle on the suit/vest torso there is a tiny upside down triangle of human flesh? What a quality issue! This has occurred in every set that has that pice that I own.
  12. According to what my Tracking from UPS says, my order is on it's way from Memphis, Tennessee ("in Transit"). Here is what I ordered: I got most of it on sale (Train station for 33 dollars-woo!). While I wait I MOD sets, go on Eurobricks, and track my order fifty thousand times a day. Then I get angry because my order won't come for another three days.
  13. When they drop into your mailbox, will you scan them? Please!
  14. So this isn't considered "pointless" when the topic is active?
  15. I excluded that because no matter how much it is overused, it never gets old. I that head! However, some of those torsos are getting very old ( the mechanic overalls and that hideous plaid shirt come to mind).
  16. I picked up the Green Army Men on Patrol and the quality is great. Needless to say, this set is the best out of the entire series (and the only one that is actually worth buying).
  17. In the last few sets I have received, the instructions have been inserted into each other (open both books up, place the right side on top of the other book's left side, and close both), which saves them from moving around and resulting in creased, damaged, and torn instruction manuals. However, on my recent Cargo Train (even though they have been discontinued), the instruction manual for the main locomotive was bent up and severely creased, while some of the smaller manuals (for the smaller wagons, of course) were put inside each other. The main problem with the train sets is that the cardboard rack containing the motor and RC transmitter is not secured down like previous sets, so it severely damages and creases the instruction manuals AND the stick sheet (to the point that some stickers were peeling off! ) . The manuals that are inside each other have mostly occurred on exclusives (Fire Brigade, Medieval Market Village, etc.), and my damaged instruction manuals have come in non direct themes, such as City.
  18. Yes, but 8403 is still a City set. Can you get us a picture of the 101211? Anyway, we are in DESPERATE need of some new torsos and faces. Examples: This has been used in 19 sets, 17 of which are in the City theme ALONE! This has been used in 19 sets, all of which are City. This has been used in 42 sets, 39 of which are in City! This has appeared in 47 sets! This has been used in 7 City sets already. This has been used in 9 City sets! This has been used in 47 sets. This has been used in 21 sets! This has been used in 10 sets. This has been used in 47 sets! Not to mention that many sets have the same minifigures. This happens a lot in City and Pirates, mostly in Construction and small sets.
  19. Aha. Now I see. I can't wait for Klaus-Dieter's reaction to the fact that is a family house coming up...
  20. I am lost -- where are you guys seeing all of this?
  21. Wow, the entire City range has been cleaned out of anything from and before 2008.
  22. It's neither. City Corner is still listed as new. Every LEGO product that is labeled "New" has been released in the last six to twelve months according to the catalogs. I'm glad I could get that Train Station for only thirty-three US dollars. I always wanted it, but forty-four dollars was just too much. Good thing I grabbed the Cement Mixer, Recycle Truck, both RC trains, Patrol Boat and Tower, Coast Guard Quad Bike, Cargo Plane, Coast Guard Helicopter with Raft, Truck with forklift, 7945 Fire Station, Cafe Corner, Town Plan, Cargo Plane, Air Mail, Coast Guard 4WD with Jet Scooter, Winter Toy Shop (Phew!), and the 2009 Advent Calender, as they are all on "Sorry, this item is not available in this country: United States" or "Sold Out" status.
  23. The Traveler, Seaplane, Small Car, Fire Helicopter, and Repair truck are all available on USA Shop at Home. Traveler - Click Here Seaplane - Click Here Small Car - Click here Fire Helicopter - Click here Repair Truck - Click here
  24. It's pretty much a goner.
