How do I motorise the Wind turbine in 7747
Legoliner Pilot replied to Legoliner Pilot's topic in LEGO Town
What is this red "micromotor" you speak of? Can you give me the Bricklink entry please? -
Okay, I was thinking about adding monkey bars and a sandbox. What do you guys think?
-
Well, I was going to add a slide, but I was unsure of were to start. Maybe the members or Eurobricks can help me?
-
Is it just me, or did they remove all the parts that you couldn't buy in the first place like NXT sensors and train track?

After building 10199 Winter Toy Shop, I couldn't help but think that a summer scene could be possible too. I have been toying with the idea of a playground for about a week or so, and when I saw the castle balcony piece under LDD, I just couldn't resist the urge. This is what resulted. You get nine minfigures, five adults and four children. The adults include a postman, traffic director (far left in the image), worried grandmother, mother (the one with the black hair), and father (the figure with the mechanic outfit). The children include a girl, boy with glasses, a boy with a classic town face, and an angry boy. You also get the family dog. This picture also shows the west entrance to the main play structure, a BURP rock wall with colorful "stepping rocks". You can also see that there are lamps all around to keep it illuminated in the late afternoon and even the evening. There is a few other features that you can see, but I'll discuss them later when you can get a better view at them. Here is a top-down view of the entire playground. It gives you a pretty good view of all the interior features of the play structure. These include a log-cabin like stairway with colorful decorations on the top. The wooden stair is made up of round columns and the like, as you can see. You can also view the sliding poles (ropes if you want), castle balconies, and the entrance from the rock wall. The balconies both have play viewing devices; the left one has a stationary spyglass, and the balcony in the top middle has a pair of 360-degree binoculars. Here is a left view of the playground. You can see the log-like detail of the main staircase (it is the same on both sides if you haven't noticed) to the structure. The reason I made it look like a log cabin was because in playground catalogs, most companies in the US use wood on the support and other features of the play structure. You can also see the exotic plants that have recently started growing the playground. No one in the community knows where they came from, but they make the playground smell nice. Here is another view of the structure, only thing left to tell you about is the bench. It seats three adults and is 12 studs long. Here is some other random pictures: --- I hoped you enjoyed my playground! Thank you for view this topic.

The grain silo is average, you pull a little tab out and 30 1x1 studs drop out. However that is barely enough to litter the ground of the tractor's wheat/bale tractor. The barn is below average. It is made out of huge pieces and has no interior. However, I bought just because the pig pen is coming out. No comments on the Family House.

I voted 10199 Winter Toy Shop. Lots of children, and a good variety of men and woman. Lots of acessories, too. The only con was the light-up brick. *Ducks behind wall* Don't chuck the blocks just yet... Listen. I think 7641 City Corner is truly overrated for what it is---I mean that bus stop is horrible, minifigures can't sit in it, so what is the point? And also, why have a skate "shop" without a checkout area? Not to mention the walls are made of huge panels on both buildings, which limits building potential. And, no offense, but the pizza restaurant's interior could be a bit more on the detailed side. I mean, the attic was empty and we have cups but no drink dispensers? Go figure! The bus would be good, except for the fact that it has house doors. I think everyone went overboard on this set just because it was the first real civilian City set we have seen in awhile....

[May be a bit off-topic, please excuse this.] Hi, I am from America and a few months ago I took a trip to many places in Europe, first of which was Copenhagen. While strolling around the downtown area, I found at least three BR toy stores. What I am really asking though is, what is BR's website? I can't find it anywhere!

On that old Czech website that we discovered a while back (http://www.Legoland.cz) it says that in January we might be getting some new roadplates... It was listed under Lego City January 2010. But: Why are the product numbers the same? Looks like we aren't going to get strait and curves packs. The traveler, according to Eurbricks member Wout, will include a suitcase, Indy handbag, and a camera. Not sure what gender the minifigure is. And of course, it will be an impulse. --- It also seems like we will be getting two more impulse sets in June: What is a minifigurky? Not sure what is included, but it will definitly be a impulse set. But wait, didn't Wout say a few pages back that it will be a random minifigure and that you won't know until you open the package?? Wout also said that [if I can recall] the Farmer will be an impulse set with a pig! Finally, a way to get lots of Lego animals cheaply!

Hi, I have some questions for you... 1. What is the best way to elevate a 9V train? I see you used many huge black antenna-tower-like black parts to support the trarcks. Adding to this, how do you make a an incline without bending the track? 2. Where did you get your airport shuttle? The least I can find it for is for $275.00 USD. Did you order the train and track separately, or what? Your city is very big, almost like a megapolis. Everything is perfect!

Do you have any info as to what the books' content is? I hope its not like THE LEGO BOOK previously released this year, with more pictures than actaul reading material.

Pick a brick at Lego retail outlets serve no better purpose, most, if not all have no trees, and if they do, they are all pine trees. They are a good source for parts though. I am going there in November, and I'm going to purchase 5 large cups for my current project. Remember, stuff the cups until they look totally deformed!

I just wish we could get more buildings. Most of these sets, while great, are either vehicles, fire vehicles, or airplanes. A little bit off topic, this is my 51st post in this topic. I just found out that I have posted the most in this thread, .

MOC: 10193 10199 Mashup - Medieval Christmas Village
Legoliner Pilot replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Town
This may be a bit off topic but what do you think of the Brickforge scooters? Is $6.00 USD per unit really worth it? -
I was actually thinking about buying the metroliner set off Bricklink and taking the conventinal cars out and replacing them with club cars, making a double-decked train with 6 fully equipped sleeper cabins, 24 chairs with tables for every 2 chairs, and two locomitives with 9V motors. But the club car prices on Bricklink are $50 WITHOUT the stickers or box, so I can't say that will be happening any time soon.
-
What do people think of my club car idea?
-
I think we need another double decker train club car, like the one released with the metroliner. That was a beauty with 2 decks, 2 cabins with beds and sinks , and a top deck dining area. Really !

I think he means this. By the way, the largest gallery of TLG's 2010 City sets has been updated on Brickshelf. Click on the image in my signature to see it.

Nice photo editing, TheBrickster. What do you use, GIMP 2.6?

This set is about Coast Guard, not general CITY! There was no reason to change the name of this topic! It was about Coast Guard and Coast guard only!
