Round Fourteen of Black and Blue Dreyrugr vs. Blue Assassin (Muckraker) - Damage (40 - 12 = 28 damage) Pretzel vs. Blue Assassin (Cross of Light) - Critical Hit (38 x 2 x 2 = 152 damage) >Erik vs. Blue Assassin (Twin Axe) - Miss (No effect) >Nessa vs. Blue Assassin (Silver Crossbow) - Damage (40/2 - 3 = 17 damage) >Sylph vs. Blue Assassin (Shrapnel Bow) - Aim (10 x 2 = 20 damage) Sylph's arrow grazes the assassin as Pretzel cracks his skull with a powerful blow from his staff. Dreyrugr and Nessa, however, can't follow his quick movements, the assassin's katana leaving vicious cuts on their bodies. Cat and Mouse - The Blue Assassin is attempting to escape. The heroes have five ten rounds to reach and engage him in physical combat. The timer will reset after the next engagement ends. - Rounds are run normally, but heroes have more freedom over their actions, such as examining or moving objects in the environment. - The heroes may attack the Blue Assassin with ranged weapons only at all times, but it will not count as an engagement. - If the Blue Assassin is not targeted, he will still deal free hits. He can be targeted with melee weapons, but nothing will happen. That is a skill that takes years to master. Or you at least have to imply you've taken years to master it earlier on so QMs take you seriously when you try to apply it.

It's more for getting you all to the same location to set up for the next combat break..You'll move down to the ground when you attack. Environment/location is a non-issue when you're in an engagement. -

Luckily, it doesn't matter, because Dreyrugr promptly engages the Blue Assassin, who jumps off the catwalk and onto the ground, only to be swarmed by the rest of the heroes. The party can now combat the Blue Assassin normally until he attempts to flee again. Sylph is distracted by the Blue Assassin's acrobatic jump to the ground, and is unable to focus long enough to heal Nessa, who's forced to chug down a Potion. Dreyrugr dashes behind a crate from cover as Pretel sits down to meditate. Cat and Mouse - The Blue Assassin is attempting to escape. The heroes have five ten rounds to reach and engage him in physical combat. The timer will reset after the next engagement ends. - Rounds are run normally, but heroes have more freedom over their actions, such as examining or moving objects in the environment. - The heroes may attack the Blue Assassin with ranged weapons only at all times, but it will not count as an engagement. - If the Blue Assassin is not targeted, he will still deal free hits. He can be targeted with melee weapons, but nothing will happen.
