Atramor glanced up at the young rogue who seated himself at his table. The witch half-shrugged and half-nodded, but the real answer was in his draining of the last quarter of rum from the bottle in his hand. "Well enough. You?"
-
Usually QMs don't stuff half a dozen Passive Specials into their enemies to balance it.
-
I don't think it was denied, I just don't think it's come up in a Quest yet.
-
Atramor sat silent in the back of the Hall, in the chair he occupied the vast majority of his stay in the Hall. Several empty bottles were scattered by his side, and he was halfway through another, but he'd yet to reach the point where it started to dull his senses rather than merely his thoughts. He wasn't sure why his latest Quest bothered him so. He hadn't dwelt on one this long since the end of Wren...at least then, he'd known why, The witch took another long drink of rum, looking up to the rest of the saloon. Evidently the other heroes were at least as bored as he was, without any new adventures to run off on. Damn shame. Cracking some heads always seemed to take his mind off everything.

Round Seventeen of Black and Blue >Pretzel vs. Blue Assassin (Cross of Light) - Shield: Guardian Angel (No negative effects/damage next round) >Nessa vs. Blue Assassin (Silver Crossbow) - Shield: Tripleshot (23 x 3 = 69 damage) >Sylph heals Erik (Shrapnel Bow) - Special Damage: Bladestorm (20 damage to everyone) Dreyrugr Erik Pretzel's angel arrives, but too late to prevent the assassin from continuing to butcher the party with his throwing knives. Nessa barely flinches, however, and fires three rapid shots into the assassin. He stumbles to his knees before, composure faltering. Erik climbs up onto the catwalk again. Dreyrugr assembles the makeshift lever. The pieces are in place. Will the heroes' madcap scheme pay off? Cat and Mouse - The Blue Assassin is attempting to escape. The heroes have five ten rounds to reach and engage him in physical combat. The timer will reset after the next engagement ends. - Rounds are run normally, but heroes have more freedom over their actions, such as examining or moving objects in the environment. - The heroes may attack the Blue Assassin with ranged weapons only at all times, but it will not count as an engagement. - If the Blue Assassin is not targeted, he will still deal free hits. He can be targeted with melee weapons, but nothing will happen. Enemies Blue Assassin Prodigy *Eight rounds until escape* Level 40 Dark Humanoid Health: 215/994 Special I: Bolas to the Feet – Blue Assassin Prodigy tosses throwing bolas, entangling the hero, dealing the Bound and Slowed effects for the duration of the battle until remedied. At the beginning of the next round, they will pull the hero that rolled Special Damage into the darkness, causing them to be Blinded for the next 3 rounds and Stunned. Blue Assassin Prodigy will attempt to flee immediately after doing so. Cannot be used while not engaged. Passive Special I: Deflect – Successful hits and spells on the Blue Assassin Prodigy have a 1/6 chance of being deflected to a random ally. I had a lot of fun Sandy, thanks for having me play.
-
Seems kind of overpowered to me. The health and ether is more than Prophet, a Master class. I think you should just use a normal list of weapons. Also, the rolls are a little over-the-top too. Healing yourself on any successful action is way too much, in my opinion.
-
He had one at one point already.
-
I doubt that'll happen until the conclusion.

"I'd admit to the possibility if anything pointed towards it. I'll tell you what. Prove you're Confused. Buy a melee weapon, and attack me."

Exactly. It's all just a game, it almost never gets personal, and when it does, generally somebody puts a stop to it. I don't see any problems happening here at all, I'm having a lot of fun.
-
Maybe if all his stuff wasn't so overpowered already. WP 29 dagger, dancing shoes...

Round Sixteen of Black and Blue >Pretzel vs. Blue Assassin (Cross of Light) - Special Guard: Bolas to the Feet (No effect, Guardian Angel) >Nessa vs. Blue Assassin (Silver Crossbow) - Aim (8 damage) >Sylph heals Erik (Shrapnel Bow) - Shield: Roots of Life (34 health restored to everyone, negative effects removed, -1 ether) Dreyrugr Erik Pretzel's angel causes one of the Blue Assassin's bolas to spiral away from the monk. Nessa's bolt grazes the assassin, while Sylph's plants crawl up to the party, healing them. Erik moves to the mead barrel, glugging down a ton of the drink. "Nope, she claims you confused her, but only after I, like, pointed out that she should know who targeted her. Before then it seemed like she implied she didn't know. This is a totally unsurprisingly development in my mind."

Not ten minutes after leaving Ji Pei Palace, Atramor found himself at Fabian's, leaning against the wall and letting McCafferey devour the chicken feed in his hand. He was eager to get a real meal as well - the one thing he could complain about on a ship was the food - but figured he'd stop on the way back to the Hall. He had the elf strip the Galactic Armor down to a lighter, looser collection of armor plates, and also had the Ruby imbued into the artifact for 50 coins. A short time he strode over to Anwyl's smithy, having the semi-dwarven armor imbue Thalion's Topaz into the Pheles Rod, and transfer the Amethyst from Conspirator into the Tiger Claws, while also having him upgrade them to WP: 15, as well as the Robust Shield's power by two, making a mental note to learn how to use the damn thing. Business concluded, he left the Marketplace with 262 coins.
