  3. Cannot believe we're at 60 pages here. I'm pretty awful at predicting Quest length. Round Eleven of Black and Blue Nessa vs. Blue Assassin (Silver Crossbow) - Special Damage: Bladestorm (20 damage to everyone) Pretzel Sylph vs. Blue Assassin (Shrapnel Bow) - Aim (10 damage) Dreyrugr Erik The Blue Assassin slings a flurry of knives at everyone. He's finally noticed the other heroes trying to get around him, but is too occupied trying to avoid Sylph's arrows. Pretzel clambers up his cart and up the bolas. Erik looks through the containers on his platform - the cauldron is empty, the barrel is full of some kind of liquid he can hear sloshing around but is unable to see without spilling it all, and inside the sealed crate is a pile of metal bars, which the barbarian can see through a hole in its side. Dreyrugr winches to and fro, but evidently the hook can only be lifted up and down with it. Cat and Mouse - The Blue Assassin is attempting to escape. The heroes have five ten rounds to reach and engage him in physical combat. The timer will reset after the next engagement ends. - Rounds are run normally, but heroes have more freedom over their actions, such as examining or moving objects in the environment. - The heroes may attack the Blue Assassin with ranged weapons only at all times, but it will not count as an engagement. - If the Blue Assassin is not targeted, he will still deal free hits. He can be targeted with melee weapons, but nothing will happen. He'd expected a bunch of unreliable minions, but, well, from what he'd seen, they weren't the clunky, soulless soldiers of the distant future rumored among Eubric. Maybe these things did have a place in the world. All the mages of the world wouldn't be able to stop an army of these things, he thought, with surprise. Times were changing, that much was obvious. "Never thought I'd feel sorry for onna these things, but I s'pose they're not much different than people."
