I don't think either Quest had been posted in the Hall at that point. How was Doc supposed to know when either one would launch?

And yet it's one of the wisest things said today in your eyes? Meaningless roleplaying is wiser than suggesting similarities in the game setup that may not even exist are going to help us, in my eyes.

Heroica RPG - Quest #85: Visions of an Unblinking Terror
CMP replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Just to be clear....does the Aura stay there now until I get knocked out/switch weapons, or do I still have a 50/50 chance of not having it next turn? I would think the latter, but I'm in trouble if I'm wrong. Also, Quarry specified he'd be using the Crystal Mace, which should've caused 158 damage, and you forgot to take away the Scorpion's health on the spell. And unfortunately, I should be poisoned by the Scorpiodemon's free hit. Atramor kicked the horde of scorpions (and their demonic leader) off him as quick as he could, but they'd still managed to covered his leg in stings. "Damn it. Namyrra, could ya' have your undead eat the one I just bashed? Should be enough to take the little bastard out." The regulator retreated into the back row and consumed a Health Core. -

Who says that? I certainly don't. Odin knows I've conquered my fair share of rambunctious wenches and voluptuous shieldmaidens in my day. I remember the time me and Alvette Fairhammer bested the Maleficent Mule of Norway together. Ah, the smell of blood and beast on the air, the adrenaline of glorious battle and honeyed mead coursing through the veins...the monster was slain, but my mighty blade sang well into the night! Who are we hunting down again?

I crammed a handful of checkers pieces down his throat to defeat him, obviously.
-
That reminds me of the time me and Darog Deer-Face when to go slay the mighty Borulf the Lesser of Iceland.
-
Wait. The finest einherjar are accompanying Thor? Why aren't I going with them?? I am damn fine. Bah. Reminds me of the time me and Dagor Deer-Face went to go slay the mighty Borulf the Greater of Canada. I got left behind while the traitorous bastard went to go find Canada. I said it was south, but he insisted the way was north. Never heard from him again. The moral of the story is, always go south when I damn well tell you to. What were we doing again?

That's what I thought...I don't think we're super close to finishing Quest 85 though. I think Sandy mentioned three mandatory battles, and I don't think any of them thus far have been so. In any case the Baltarok Trilogy shouldn't take as long as Dastan.

Those are both amazing and plentiful prizes. Good luck to everybody.

Wait, when's Strivvi starting?

Heroica RPG - Quest #85: Visions of an Unblinking Terror

Atramor couldn't help but grin as the angry arachnids arose from the sands of the desert, drawing the Pheles Rod and spinning it briefly before driving the end downwards at Crimson Scorpion A from the front row. "Fine with me, vermin are my cup of tea." -
Agreed, absolutely, 100%. Poking a QM when things are slow is reasonable. Trying to force things along just to gratify your own character is just a slap in the face to them. I enjoyed following along the Quest. It was lengthy (but then, all your Quests are) but the freeform concept was quite interesting to see unfold, and the sets were, as usual, phenomenal.

Gollum was finally nice this year. Thanks a ton to CopMike (yet again) for organizing this whole thing.

Atramor shook his head as Nizam sobered up almost instantly. Wasted bastard deserved whatever hangover he got, in his opinion. "Aye. No time to mess 'round here." -
I'll probably be going Xbox One, but I can wait until spring when the real games start coming out.

What happens in Valhalla stays in Valhalla! -Canute Gray-Bush, A.D. 922 Did I ever tell you the story of my good friend Bognar the Bombed? Yes? Well, I'll tell you anyway. He went to the longhouse every day and got himself completely wasted. One day he went and there was no mead left! So he went travelling abroad searching for greater stores of mead. In his haste he had forgotten it was refilled daily. The moral of my story is this: Mead cures all wounds! -Canute Gray-Bush A.D. 919 So we should all get drunk, of course. -
Yeah, what kind of inconsiderate bastard doesn't stuff random warehouses full of loot that the party think has something valuable in them purely because they're locked and someone sells a magic key?

Ah, but remember, young Wary: Don't count your chickens before their eggs cross the road! -Canute Gray-Bush, 913 A.D. 'Twas the doom of my long-lost friend, Olaf Talon-Heart. He tried to count his chickens before they were done, and what happened to him, hmm? He got hit by a meteor! -

How would they know eachother and what's their connection?

Maybe I'm just ignorant of the Marcel comics universe, but....do these two have any backstory not based out of the X-Men, which they can't use in the movie? I guess if they're anything like Hawkeye/Black Widow (I assume they'll fill a similar role) we won't actually learn anything about them anyway, they'll just hint at it.
-
I guess we'll be eating uncooked pig marinated in tears until this is over. This is the longest 24 hours ever.

What the hell kind of vikings are we?
