I had Silver when I was too young to have any idea what I was doing, but I don't doubt that's why I stopped playing it. I have distant memories of FFVII, but that's about it. I plan to start getting Zelda now that I've got a 3DS. Video games are by far the biggest inspiration for me in designing quests, though.

The famous playwrights of Brobric far exceed R'klif's cultural output, though. Eubric's Freedom ideology is in a state of Civil Resistance as a result. All they can do is ensure access to the luxury resources of Dastan and the High Kingdoms to offset the happiness penalty. The costs keep increasing, however, and soon they won't be able to afford to keep the happiness of its people in check, destroying the morale of its Bonaparte navy and crippling their production and growth for the rest of the Medieval era. And now for whatever reason Eubric's people are worshiping the Pongcanis pantheon so now you have to spend all your well-earned faith on pagodas and mosques.

I'm pretty sure that's racist against elves. No wonder Eubric is such a mess. With crap like this, social policy costs must be through the roof. I'm glad to see some fresh blood in the world of QMing. We could always use more.

Atramor pulled out his shield once again, and reached for his kris, before realizing McCafferey was no longer on his shoulder. Come to think of it, she hadn't been there since they'd gone through the portal. The regulator frowned slightly, then shook his head. He didn't need her whispering into his ear to tell him what to do. He'd come too far for that. That should've merged. Oh well. -

"You're saying that whenever we put somethin' into our bag it just...appears here?" Atramor blinked. He'd never really considered how some heroes carried so much stuff with them. "And now the overseer of all this, this Green Necromancer guy. He's lost control of the undead guards. He got a message into the hands of anyone in Eubric who uses these bags, which I guess includes Paladins, which explains why they came here. Is that all right?" -
I've brought it up before, but it's a real shame how Expert Class availability is so narrow. I'm taking the hint as a good sign that Winged Warrior will become available for a second time in the future, which is awesome. I'm determined to host at least three Quests that offer Marauder. Infiltrator will be offered when Strivvi is concluded I assume. How about Skirmisher, Harlot, and Regulator?

Miderun had some trouble following Scheherazade's explanation - detailed to a fault - but managed to keep most of it in mind, running through it all mentally even as the saloon's owner went to go chase off a rooster she found vaguely familiar. "Thank you for the drink and information, Mauwalt Scheherazade." With a shrug, she excused herself and walked to the Quest board, where evidently heroes got their assignments. She could hardly read Common, but got the gist of what was asked, scrawling her name underneath Quest 109 before returning to the bar, her heavily bandaged fingers again gripping a drink. "Fewer people here than I thought." Her voice trailed off as a trio of figures entered the hall, then went their separate ways.
