Wow, this is fantastic. I'm not sure the Fangz head fits a Hero, but otherwise I really like it. Nice use of the 1.0 Hero leg armour and the Furno swords.

Just watched it. Storyline-wise, though, I didn't quite like it. It was too kiddy for me, I think I liked OoF better. However, the character development of the Heroes was very nice to watch, especially between Furno and Rocka. Also it was nice to see Stormer continuing his role as leader, I like him even more after watching this. Makes me want to pick up his toy.

That would be interesting, but I would rather get a new set of villains. I agree on the cutting back thing. The 6 heroes formula was carried over from Bionicle. However, here in HF, they aren't exactly colour-coded according to element, so kids would find them roughly the same. I personally don't mind if it ends up being a 5-man team. If, however, Reapa is a corrupted hero (of sorts), maybe his 'clean' version would appear in a LE set or something? Been longing for one of those in the HF line after the new building system was introduced.

Thanks! I think the badge on mine is a little misprinted, but oh well. This guy is perfect. I love everything about him (okay, maybe except his lack of back armour, but oh what to do), found myself actually playing with him. And I'm 17. Darn. I didn't get any of the 2.0 heroes though, and I really love this guy. Will probably buy a bunch of the 3.0s, next hero on my list is Rocka, after I get Raw-Jaw.

I think we've discussed this before, but... What's Rocka's first name? I checked his bio on the HF website and it doesn't have it.

Just got Bulk 3.0 today, as an early birthday gift for myself tomorrow Love every bit of him. I'm glad his blades don't fall off as easily as I thought they would, they're very secure, actually. Can't wait to get Raw-Jaw next on my list!

Now that I've had some time to let the figures grow on me, I'll give a proper judgement. Iron Man - Probably my favourite of the lot, mainly because he's supposed to look mechanical. My only gripe is his huge shoulders, but that can be easily fixed, I guess. Definite buy anyway, just for that head and the belt piece, as you people are calling it. Hulk - He would be my fave in place of Iron Man if not for those gunmetal bits. I do hope Lego replaces them with lime green ones instead, but something's telling me they won't... Green Lanturn - Never liked the character anyway, although I like that trans-green effect thingy, and his delicious Mata green parts. Probably a pass. Batman - Eww. The wings don't bug me as much as some people. For me, however, I would rather have him in black, although blue is kinda true to the comics, I never read those and have only seen the latest 2 movies. Those are minor gripes, however - my main peeve is his head. It makes him look so fat and pudgy. Eww. Really hope to see Captain America and Joker. I hope Lego doesn't scrooge on those delicious purple pieces.

Great review! Best set of the 3.0 wave, IMO. And personally I think I prefer the way the upper thigh armour is attached as shown on the box rather than the official version in the instructions.

Sorry, but... These are horrible. I'd take HF 4.0 over any of these any day. Especially Batman and Hulk, just... Ugh. I'll grow on these in time, definitely, but now they're as bad as Ben 10 for me. Iron Man is the only one with the potential to be slightly decent.
