  1. Holy.. She's got masts! Next step is the rigging! Great progress!
  2. Nicely done, very smoothly! Now, I think it's time to move on for you from official Lego-techniques to your own, like cannonholes, sails, and masts of course. Try making your future ships look more realistic like by making sails of different sizes according to the size of the ship and mast. Regards, Edward
  3. God boy, I was looking to this whit an open mouth scrolling down, thinking of every image I saw I NEED THIS! These ships are just so accurate as I know them from books, games and designpapers. I find this a wonderful beautiful job you do, and I hope you will continue building these. Frigates are really my favs, but the Line ships are also wonderfully made. I think I just fell in love!
  4. I wish this was the actual set. The Lego sets are never complicated to build, what makes them a little ugly sometimes. Really great job.
  5. Ah, the great Vandegrift is back. You've been kinda inactive lately with that zelda thing. Good to hear you're back!
  6. A really nice job, though I think the side windows of the cabin are a little bid too much hanging down. A little more horizontal and I'm happy! Keep on going with this beauty! -Eddie
  7. I don't really know, but I find the forecastle a little bid too high. Also the bow-thing might look better when you make the rails a little longer. For the rest, a very, very nice job.
  8. Bow looks way more better! Really some good job you did on that. Very similar. I think your job now is to rebuild the HMS Endeavour, Lord Beckett's ship?
  9. Very nice, looking forward to the next episode. You should do some reviews of your sets where I am really curious about. Also, here with the real HP fans, somebody, including you, Geertos, should make Platform 9 3/4. That's just the place Harry meets the red steam blowing Express, and their two best friends.
  10. Looks nice, though take a look at pictures of Hogsmeade station and the train. For the rest, great job!
  11. Nice job on building this! I must say, though it has nothing to do with the mod, the graphics of the photos with the legominifigures gave me that old nostalgic feeling. Of the old lego age. Keep going! -Eddie
  12. Lovely! Another great MOC of the QAR! I especially already like the details on the stern.
  13. I love how you used the helmet glasses on the hats of the soldiers. Gives an extra look and detail to it. So it's just possible to do this with your own legos and I absolutely love that to keep it creative to lego's. Keep going! -Eddie
  14. Very nice job! So many detail! Though, the bow part is used from the original set. I actually prefer like this: The brig made by our Eurobricks member Mr. Townset. I'm showing this one because it's a very good example of a bow using various lego pieces. Maybe an idea?
  15. "Ehem, this is not really historically accurate..."""And Kurrigan wants the pepperoni with extra cheese." Just only this joke made me shit in my trousers. Man, we in the Netherlands call this "Droge humor" or literally translated "dry humor". Amazing how you made me laugh like that. When i was too young for Classic Pirates I read the other comics a lot, and hoped Always on a new one. Like "Kings and Queens of the seas" or something like that. I loved to read this and hope to see more in the future. And what Admiral Croissant said
  16. Oh god, oh god! The masts are already standing! Outstanding again, really, wonderful. I love the details and how you did the stern. Also it is much lower then your other ships, what I prefer to frigates/sloops/brigs actually. Great work, and keep on going with the capstan ~Eddie
  17. C'mon, lad! Take a break, relax! Get your lego boxes and build up those masts ! Nah, just kidding. I draw ships myself (Also in maths, heh) and the bow is always the part I always love. Why actually? Because it gives me the look: "Here I am, now get out of the way, even if you're a lost mermaid.". And I see that in your ship. How wonderful is it that you can create a ship in Lego? Just keep doing the great work, and hope to see more of ya! -Eddie
  18. Good god, what a start, what a start! This job is already outstanding. Great MOC, I hope to see more of you. Only, a little perfectionistic idea , You're saying that it has only 3 gundecks, but actually a 1st rate has 4. Like on this picture. http://www.google.nl/search?q=real+felipe&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=CXagU669KOPI0wWCz4CoAQ&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ&biw=1920&bih=869#q=real+felipe+ship&tbm=isch&facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=X7i4pM-R8bbYOM%253A%3BcL4OsNbCoccICM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.modelships.de%252FSan_Felipe_1690_authenticity%252FReal_Felipe_01_k.jpg%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.modelships.de%252FSan_Felipe_1690_authenticity%252FSan_Felipe_1690_authenticity.htm%3B700%3B557 As you can see, under the after castle is again one deck with less cannons than the others below, but it is still a gundeck. Many make mistakes in this, so that's why I am just saying it Again, great MOC. Keep on working! -Cap'n Edward
  19. I just LOVE the bow! SO smooth, so beautiful. I'm wondering if you also watch to the Persephone. I really see you also pay attention to the difference of the French and English style of Lineships. Really love that. Outstanding work, really, I love it. Although I think the stern is going to be too small. http://navalwarcolle...urgogne_16.html (Click on a picture to see it bigger) Also the Quarter deck is going smaller. Maybe think about that. Other than that, great work, I hope more to see/come! (Figurehead is VERY premium )
  20. Very nice progress, Sebeus! Poor you have to sacrifice some ships, but, maybe in the future you can buy some more bricks at Brickshelf. For now, pay attention to your Beatrix and you'll be alright
  21. My god, so nice! I remember a guy on MOCpages who did exactly like you do! So beautiful, also, the technique of the hull is very nice. Not everyone uses it, so stay at that way, and keep using it, because I love it! I can't wait to see it in it's final state. ~ Eddie
  22. Very nice, lovely. Only, because the two masts are so far from each other it's like it misses a mast. Maybe put them closer to each other. Still a great work, well done in a short amount of time
  23. Wonderful, how you used that Indian headdress! How the ship walks so smooth.. Wonderful! Just wonderful!
  24. It is so perfect, so nice, so beautiful! Just, only the sails.. The work is outstanding! Keep on working!
  25. God, Sebeus, I always love your ships. I am thinking by myself: "I need only those parts to get such a ship like that to be proud of." It's always I'm missing parts. DO you buy yours online or from many different sets? Also, for me you are very famous with your capstans, keep up the good work!
