    Alien Covenant - Not everyone seems to be enjoying this installment. I for one loved it especially the ending. The film is visually beautiful and made with the extraordinary quality one comes to expect from Ridley Scott. The story is bleak, more so then the other Alien films. I think time will tell how it will fit in with the alien universe. Sorry to double post.

    Can anyone confirm if the Vader fig from the new set has backprinting? Would be a shame if that improvement made in the Tie Advanced set last year was lost.

    Replaying Mass Effect Trilogy. ME3 is definitely my favorite despite the ending. The whole game feels like a resolution for the first two games and in my mind the Citadel DLC is the true ending. So with that in mind im fairly satisfied. ME2 is a brilliant game though and one of those rare examples of perfection. ME1 is pretty good but is really dated now. The story, voice acting, and dialogue are incredible but the gameplay is so different and a little rough feeling especially compared to the second and third games.

    Guys Vader isnt unique to 2016! We have have a 2015 and 2017 version now and this year's version is practically the exact same except for the fabric printing going over his shoulder armor. He's hardly new. Thats like voting for stormtrooper with dirt stains and claiming its perfectly new even though its the same stormtrooper we've had for a few years. Meanwhile we are never getting another adult Ashoka again. We are probably not getting Luminara for a very good while as well. Both figures are extraordinarily unique. So I will vote Ashoka.

    Fantastic job! The detailing is incredibly well done! Your posing is pretty darn good as well especially the transition shots of the rebels and imperials spotting to aiming at eachother

    There are pics of a hot wheels toy that shows a new First Order Starfighter. Although no one knows what the ship is called this almost certainly confirms one of the rumored Last Jedi sets. As for the Jedi Hyperdrive Ring set, im quite iritated that once again Obi Wan isnt given dual molded legs. The boots wouldve made this set more desire.

    Director Krennic and Chirrut are the only figures that don't have a close variant in another year and therefore will remain exclusively a 2016 figure. Therefore I must vote for Director Krennic.

    Ive gotta say the summer looks like a mighty fine wave. Even the weakest set in my opinion, the quadjumper, is still very well done. I may not buy all of them but its good to see Lego continuing to churn out high quality models.

    If we get Lando in the set i'm going to pull out my hair. Actually the ESB theme makes sense, the last one was ANH based, and the teaser image with the Space Slug emphasizes the idea that its Episode V.

    Not to derail the thread but how much does that equate to a rebate? You get $75 to spend on Lego or your country's equivalent right?

    I actually really like this, especially the concept of it! I do think the wings blocking the center of the cockpit would make this ship impractical to fly but it still looks cool and hey this is lego, we don't design for practicality, we design for style! If you have an clear plate pieces maybe you could put some in the forward point of the wing? Even if we can't see through it, the translucent brick would give the appearance that if this were really in the movie that would either be negative space or transparisteel plating,

    I'm not a huge fan of the third party stuff involved but this model is a thing of beauty at this scale!

    It looks great so far! If you ever need more reference look up the armada model of an interdictor. Its very accurate and of course is a model.

    Mr. Whitefang, a simple request. When you're allowed to post pictures of the mysterious figure, could you take a picture of the back without the cape to show off the back printing if there is any.
