ACKBAR'S BACK BABY! Yeah i'm really hyped. Not thrilled by the lack of OT aliens other then our beloved Mon Calamari though. Where the heck are the Bith and Ithorians? Other then that though it looks super. I'm glad the First Order Officer corps appears to employ more grey and dark blue uniforms this go around, wasnt overly keen on all of them being in black always.

Well yes I'm very much aware of that I'm speaking more as to why does he not have a new one?

I'm curious as to why Kylo doesnt have a helmet? Also evil BB8 is apart of his Tie? Does that mean the droid is Kylo's personal droid? I'm curious as to what the Gorilla Walker looks like on screen cause right now the Lego set looks like someone's semi decent MOC of an AT-AT. The kind that is impressive that someone built but a little mugly to ever buy. Like the head and front legs are just so over designed and busy looking.

Imperial Officer. -
I suppose i'd be more behind the Tatooine BP if as others have said it had two sand people with different robe printing. At least that way we can build up a clan if we so wished. Hah that's a fantastic idea and Lego figs are about the right size for Imperial Assault. What do you use for the figure base?

@VaderFan2187 you're darn right. I'M WITH BITH! I waited my entire childhood for a Bith figure! -
Has anyone seen this incredible parody album of Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band? I recommend the entire album they did especially Imperial Holes and Being From the Spaceport of Mos Eisley.
-
If they do an astromech I could settle for an R5 series model. The conical heads are underrepresented.
-
That looks fantastic especially the white curve on the corner building, its so iconic in the scene it ties your whole diorama together.
-
I think there is with R2-D2, but that would be insane if they put him in a battle pack. Perhaps TLG has a surplus of the figure and they need to get rid of them so they're just throwing them in every set they can.
-
Oh don't get me wrong I love having troopers from various factions and generic figures. Its just those generic figures in particular. What can you do with a million jawas? Jawas are already very cheap to build up in large numbers and sand people are sort've as well. My point is with the multitudes of interesting characters we've had on Tatooine, why not give us ones we've never had before or have only been in expensive sets? Give me Momaw Nadon and Bith those molds already exist. Heck the Duros in the Cantina would be super easy to do. Just reprint the face from the battlefront battle pack on a turquoise colored head with a spaceman body print and bam new figure without any need of a mold. I guess what i'm really trying to say is give us Tatooine unique figures that can be repurposed elsewhere because those aliens or types show up all over the SW galaxy.
-
Has anyone tried using prototype boba fett's legs for snow trooper legs? It would be an expensive method to get them printed legs but i'm really curious.
-
The Tatooine battle pack...two jawas and an astro? Those are figures that you throw in as an extra incentive to buy a set but not the figures you buy the set for. Wow...My hopes skyrocketed and plummeted just as quickly. This has been a rollercoaster ride of emotions.
-
Please say you're joking? No one will want that Jawas and astromechs are the figures you throw into sets as extra incentives not the reason you buy sets.
-
Really well done job encapsulating Starkiller Base! I adore the frightened FO Officer by Kylo. I do find it funny though that this is in a way a rehash of a setting thats a rehash of the setting the set is based off of which is a set that is also a rehash of another set.
-
Ponda Baba maybe closer to reality with the announced rumor of a Tatooine battle pack.
-
Is my dream is finally coming to fruition? Years ago EB had a Battlepack contest and my entry was a Tatooine Battlepack. A cheap set with General Grievous, my favorite prequel character? What is happening, is Lego just reading my wishlist now? Someone a page or two back mentioned this is TLG's alternative for doing a SW Collectible Minifigure Line, I couldn't agree more!

For me the Thrawn novel works as a prequel to the Thrawn Trilogy as much as it works as a prequel to Thrawn in Rebels. Actually part of why I hope Thrawn survives Rebels is because technically all of the prequel work for the OT such as Rebels and Rogue One, still work with much of the EU such as the Thrawn books with little contradiction. Okay maybe more then a little contradiction here or there but to me the EU is very much an alternate universe like the new Star Trek movies are, existing alongside the canon universe.

RELEASE...THE CRACKEN! -
That dead clone thought the sector was clear, turns out it was not clear, not clear! Great job portraying the action of the scene!
