  1. wow really interesting statue, and somehow really ASOIAF! I love it!
  2. update 12/6: I started adding links to the thumbnails and added two more cogs and a chines junk and, I need opinions here, do you guys think I should also add galleons, or is that too far into the 16th century/pirate era?
  3. My students all passed with A's and B's, I was the guy to roast them alive!
  4. we're at you heels! Problem is that I'm really tired now and hope that the guys across that big water can take over now!
  5. Thanks Ska. I added you comments, really interesting facts. As for the galley and carrack articles, I haven't really gotton to today. (I had 5 Abitur (a-level) oral exams today so I'm pretty bombed out right now ... )
  6. I currently don' t know any Mitgardians building there, so go ahead! Interesting to see this old thread bumped, quite a way we've come so far ...
  7. yeah, viva Mitgardia! (come on guys, that page 100 should be doable wihtin the next hours, don't you think?
  8. Wow, I love brigs, and this one is perfect! Makes me wanna tear down every ship I've build so far. Way to go Mr. Towsend!
  9. Thanks Sigolf, I added you comment to the first page. This is actually the way I was thinking how this index could develop. So if others want their two cents of wisdom included, feel free to comment!
  10. No its totally fine. Actually I'm trying to collect as many attempts on medieval/ fantasy ships as possible. If you had any better shot I would file under "other". I'm also keen on hearing what you as a Historian would have to say about the index itself.
  11. Nice cart, the road is also well made. I really like the way you solved the issue of covering the wagon. I hadn't come up with a good solution there myself yet! Awesome! I wonder who could possibly think so
  12. do you have any single pictures of the ships itself?
  13. Historicans need to build more and better ships: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=83061
  14. found some more ships on flickr, moc pages as well as eb itself, see first page!
  15. I like that one as I'm too tired to think up names. One thing though, why so few Mitgardians? And what about Eric Grimmson and Sven Thorsson, after all both have lived there for quite a while!
  16. Awesome house. Really like the iterior as well as all those interesting ways of incorporating the windows!
  17. Thanks ska. Yeah those differences between AE and BE, sort of my daily business. Anyway, I really like the concept of sunken lanes in medieval Europe and the more I read about the more fascinating it becomes. Guess I'll have to go out and hike some of the old ones!
  18. some good stuff there starting to develop. I especially like the cart with the big barrels! One thing thoug, why don't you go out to take pics? I always thought there'd be enough light in France
  19. what a horse, simply amazing!
  20. Quite an imposing tree there and even better now that you added the side trunks. How come though you're not using any actual leave pieces?
  21. too bad so many Nocturnias actually dropped the project, so maybe doing them in a moc gets them back. Maybe you should contact all those you are trying to portray, maybe some return for the second chapter of GoH The ship itself is pretty cool, but we definetely need to talk about rigging (which is always a bitch, a know that myself) there are better ways to do it!
  22. interesting build, quite fascinating how you keep on shelling out those mocs. Good stuff!
  23. good intermediate challenge, but right now I'm more into landscape building ... so I guess I wouln't enter
  24. great stuff nemo. I really like the crane, looking really realistic! In case you need more inspiration on medieval castle building you should check out this: http://www.guedelon.fr/en/
  25. In title it still says wip, but in the topic I asked for the wip status to be removed. So anyway, it'd be cool if you could index my moc: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=79704 thanks a lot
