    A little something I build to fend of the dark thoughts during an incredibly dark late fall. Havn't see the sun in weeks ... : After a long and harsh winter spring has finally come to Mitgardia again. A week agon everything looked bleak and the last patches of snow were covering the ground. A warm wind from Kaliphlin had kickstarted the growing season though and in this old orchard outside flowers were competing with fruit trees in who had could bloom the hardest. Time to get out the beehives and collect all that honey so the production of mead could start again. For some reasons the Mitgardian dwarves had increased the appetite for their preferred beverage quite considerably in recent months ...

    very nice port scene and of course very nice ships too. I especially like the design of the cogs, very fitting me thinks!

    The mead was really good and my wife liked it too. We actually drank it warmed up and no, suprisingly I don't have a headache today ...

    Well, I started this, so I guess I have to take it just as well. Anyway, maybe it's this lack of sunshine all of us here in the northern hemisphere suffer from. And as true Mitgardians we just get drunk and push through. Found a place to buy mead today ...

    oh boy, with me not being able to participate in the current challenge, I've really run into a creativity crisis. I mean I have all sort of idea of what to build but I just can't get myself together to get the bricks moving. You guys ever feel like this?

    It's really strange, I've seen the new sets in October in Iceland and in November in Belgium, but so far none in my area of Germany, wonder why that is ...

    Very nice texturing of the wall and a very funny story. I like it a lot! It's good to see that you stay with us and that Ruadh keeps on evolving, since unfortunately most female GoH members tend to drop out of the project after a short while.

    Well, if they don't give us any History sets, they have give the figs at least. I'm just really tired of all this Chima, Ninjago, Friends etc. stuff they are pushing into the market ...

    This is very great and I too think it's great you have finally joined this project. Guess we Germans have been a little underrepresented here amongst all those Dutch, Swedes and Americans ... Anway, I think you photoshop effects are just playing with light and are not destroying the build. So personally I'm okay with it. I also change the lighting of mocs and I know most people do. But of course it's the mods who've got a last saying on this.

    this is exactly how we have handled things so far. So all is cool. If you look at Ecc's troops you will also see that he uses the official colors as well as his own.

    A very nice build and an awesome visualisation of Mitgardia. There are actually many things I like quite a bit, but the application of the snow on the roof is one of the things I like best about this. The interiour is pretty amazing too!

    Very nice port scene. I really like how you arranged houses in uneven patterns and the sitting worker is of course absolutely genious!

    It always takes a while for you to post something new but I suppose building amazing stuff like this takes some time. So, It's actually worth waiting for! Anyway, interesting but sad story, overwhelming building skills as always.

    Very soild entry! I actually like your combos the best so far, as they all look like I see GoH too!

    For me brick seperators are like socks; they mysteriously disappear over time. I used to have three green old ones and they are all gone. Now the new ones start disappearing too, so it's okay to get many of them!

    @Wat: you can actually show your CCC entries in the Castle forum but the can't be used for both contests!

    Yeah fun, we actually met your friends and I tried to speak Spanish to them, hope it doesn't sound too bad in the video!
