    This must be in London - you wait ages for a bus and then 8 come along all at once!!! Oh well, at least people won't sit in the aisle seat deliberately so nobody can sit next to them like they do in London! I think the seven stud is actually a decent size - your No. 244 is probably my favourite of your creations. The only trouble with 7-wide is those specialist roof pieces don't come in an odd numbered stud width. I would like to try using the rounded/curved sloped pieces to get the roof right for a 7-wider.

    Yeah, Spidey style animals are of no use/interest to me. Still, with this latest series now officially revealed it won't be too long before we see leaked pics of what could be the best CMF series of all time for us regulars in this thread (or most likely a crushing disappointment with the budget for new parts put towards costumed animal moulds and no new actual animals)! I'm still thinking it will be an all costumed series given the koala suit leak in the hope I'll be pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't mind if the koala costume comes with a koala like the Series 24 one (as I only have one), which therefore wouldn't require a new mould presumably. Even better if it was a reverse of the previous koala (e.g. head looking right instead of left) so that multiple koalas don't all look exactly the same.

    One thing I am very glad about is the fact the cat and koala masks leaked before we were told this would be an animal series. At least there was then reasonable expectation this may be an all costumed series rather than getting our hopes through the roof that each figure would have an animal accessory only to find out this wasn’t the case. I’m still expecting all costumes right now but secretly hoping the cat and koala masks are red herrings!

    An interesting find @Roebuck - personally I'm not sure a genuine mould would have the wing quite as low down. Surely a bird's wing extends from the shoulder like an arm? The fact it is painted too makes me think somebody has doctored it.

    I love Paradisa but never had any sets (I was a kid back then so i guess people were reluctant to buy pink sets for a boy). I had a lot of the beach themed City sets though. Would love some more Paradisa tributes than just figures in the Minifig Vending Machine (which I don’t really count as Paradisa figs as such but just Paradisa fans). Sadly the best thing was the baseplates, which I don’t think Lego will ever bring back.

    Still hoping we’ll get some sort of Adventurers revival, even if it is just a remake of the main Egyptian set (as long as it includes all the original non-stickered hieroglyphics pieces). I’d like a marina for ‘leisure’ boats like the Sail and Fly Marina from the early 90’s (not a commercial harbour). I also like the Jungle/Ocean sets and the outside the City exploration themes. Hopeful of getting Savannah exploration sets, as many key large animals still missing (giraffe, hippo, rhino, zebra).

    Sadly I think it is a sticker - disgusting that people (over)paying £250 for a product still have to put up with cheap, tatty stickers!!

    Hoping coast guard sets might produce a sea lion. Other than that, there don’t appear to be too many opportunities for new animals really - the summer sets usually include the bigger animals/out of the City ‘exploration’ sets. I’m not optimistic the CMF line will be the animal series we want, certainly not a series with every figure accompanied by an animal. We can dream though and pray for some bigger animals in the summer. Would be nice to get the babies in the CMF line and then the adult in the summer sets (e.g. a baby hippo or panda).

    1. Cat 2. Koala 3. Eagle 4. Squirrel 5. Parrot 6. Sheep* 7. Lion 8. Kangaroo 9. Cow 10. Frog 11. Goat* 12. Beaver Don’t think we’ll get a sheep AND a goat but will include both as if I pick just one, they are bound to include only the other!

    How long do new parts usually take before available on Pick A Brick - ordered some parts earlier for my MOC but wanted to try and get some pigeons and the Ted Brickle head but neither available yet?

    Yeah - I’m gonna be as mad as @williejm in Hulk mode if we never see the koala again. I’m sure I read somewhere that a koala suit mould had been leaked but I guess it would be unlikely to have a repeated animal accessory, assuming this is a future CMF figure? Are there any sets anticipated for release in the latter half of 2025 which have new animal potential or are we now waiting for the Jan 2026 rumours?

    Perhaps the Paradisa minifigures in the Minifig Ideas Machine are a sign of interest in a revival for the theme and we could get some horsey sets. The original foal appeared in a Paradisa set after all. Probably wishful thinking on my part though! At least now this Spidey CMF has been revealed so the next series will hopefully be a regular one, which may result in some (limited sized) animals! Wombats and swans please!

    Another nice piece of work @snaillad. I also really like the "Lunar Motors" MOC on your Flickr account (linked in the original post for those wishing to check it out) - presumably you didn't post that one here on Eurobricks previously or I would have commented, but it reminded me of a scene in Love & Mercy (the Brian Wilson biopic). I love the Americana style of the mid 20th century.

    I would love to see more of the old Adventurers characters reintroduced and not just Johnny Thunder in Lego City sets or ‘nods’ to characters in sets like the museum and orient express. I think the best chance of getting this would be through a CMF series. However, there is a decent Egypt set gaining votes on Lego ideas currently (not mine), which contains all the old characters from the original line. I really hope this is successful as it contains many of the original printed pieces too. Alternatively, it would be nice to have some characters that would fit well within the original series, even if they are not the original characters. I did like the jungle sub theme characters I would love to see more of these like Rudy Villano and Sñr Paloma.

    It worries me that if we do get a kangaroo it’ll be in a CMF and will have undetachable boxing gloves on as some kind of poor joke. Or a kangaroo costume only for an actual kangaroo not to appear, much like the giraffe/llama debacle.

    Yes - Kid Me’s zoo was basically the Eldorado pirate fort baseplate (RIP proper baseplates - always wish I had multiples of the Paradisa ones). My ‘zoo’ had a shark, which I pretended was a dolphin, a monkey and a horse which I pretended was a zebra! 😂 Only 30 years too late though. Let’s hope the above are plugged soon plus 🦛🦏🦢 and a reintroduction of 🐪 plus coral 🦩 ! Outback would be good (i’d like them to release a version of the Ghan train too, which would fit well) but I think if they want to plug the gaps quickly, we need another safari wave as there are 4 key animals still missing there - e.g. hippo, rhino, giraffe and zebra. Plus others like meerkat, gazelle, hyena, warthog and they won’t presumably all appear in the next safari subtheme song they need to get moving quickly with this!!

    Ugh. I’ve been waiting ages for a set that come with multiple Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff students but when it arrives, they have the most useless hideous torsos going! 👎👎👎

    Just reading a non-Lego related forum and there was an advert for Lego, which appeared (it's almost like the machines know what we're interested in these days). Anyway - it says '"All The Animals You Need... Discover In Pick A Brick"' I mean have they not read this thread? Honestly, "all the animals you need". Tsk! I mean we need... Kangaroos Foxes Sea Lions Rhinos Swans Meerkats Beavers Coral Flamingos Iguanas Tapirs Badgers Giraffes Peacocks Wombats Tortoises Sloths Big Horn Sheep Zebras Pandas Capybaras Hippos + Many More Don't tell me you have all the animals I need, Lego.
