    The "guns" are nothing but on on the stubby end of held backwards and upside down. The face bothers me a LOT. But this is the first picture of deadshot on google images. Better than first appearance deadshot, in any case

    Cool new parts, the 2x6 with ø2 corners on the front and back of the spyder, the 2 new cuuuurvy windshield styles, new fenders, lots of national flags. (I see the new hubcaps but I don't really care, to the "you forgot..." comments ) Also, nice use for a snowboard. And weird to see the ANSYS plate, I'm actually studying for an engineering simulation exam tomorrow morning, and it's all ANSYS

    We don't need this garbage here! Kidding. I jumped into the Skylanders games with the second installment, actually just buying a few of the figures that I thought were great looking sculpts. The rock giant Crusher, the leaf dragon Camo, the tiki mask sorcerer Double Trouble. Figured I'd just pick up the crème de la crème for spicing up a desk or a shelf or something. Buuut then the game went on a heavy discount and I picked it up and filled out the cast of characters (at not a discount ) and that was that. I really do think the figurines are clever and appealing character designs, so I don't see it as the complete waste that a lot of people do, being someone who collects things out of design appreciation already.

    There was a piece of art that shows them off, on a store display banner, somewhere in the recent leaks. That's definitely the idea behind the unprinted preliminary figures even if the banner artwork wasn't final, they are shown as human snake followers, maybe a little bit enchanted, but human with Mola Ram kinda snake headdresses. Then of course (by prelims) there's the bleached pythor and some somehow surviving other true purple snake type fellow. ^ oh right, this

    I get just printing it on, but I'd rather it printed depicting the helmet, rather than doing him looking like a gray human face with his iconic targeting thingy on top. That's why I was hoping for him, perfect game for a space hero. Maybe you're right, for the included content they've only talked about krypto and bat-cow, not ace. By alphabet and previous knowledge of who's in the game, Stargirl and Supergirl? On half-hearted "variant cover" Speaking of white hair though, having Kalibak is making me hope for Granny Goodness. I think kids probably appreciate the absurdity, and she's had appearances across DC cartoons.

    They all look pretty good! (besides the LoSS). I didn't notice the pegs on gali's weapon until this morning, but I wasn't thinking "split the head off entirely", rather "oh, the whole thing goes on her feet" I am torn about Tahu's new face. It looks cleaner and still evokes the old design (more from the angle of his head than the straight-on view of the golden mask), but I was getting used to the more classic take, even with the edges looking kinda inside-out. All the chest prints are cool! The skull spider legs are cool parts.

    Aw, Deadshot deserved a big breadbox helmet, like in the Lego Batman 2 handheld editions: But oh well. Enough spots between Krypto and Miss Martian that I'm still hopeful for LOBO. And Mera better be in there. Not much room for "e" characters between Doomsday and Frankenstein (that is frankenstein 3 spots after doomsday, right?) The spot right before aquaman: ace the bathound? meaning no Adam Strange Yeah I think that's how all the lego games are: the automatically unlocked characters you play in the levels, in order of level, then everyone else alphabetically. Oh! I was thinking Adam West was in the level character lineup. so that's Adam West, Alfred '66, Alfred, Aquaman

    Yep, PS3 too! Sounds awesome, but I would've definitely rather had Shriek ten times more than Bonk or the Joker. And if they were desperate for a bigfig, Ace (the robot bruiser of the Royal Flush Gang, not the dog) would have been much better than Bonk. Spellbinder would've filled a good mind control character slot, and "10" would've been nice for an acrobatic character (and flying on the cards would be awesome). I'd even take some random Jokers over The Joker. Better character designs, better characters, more important to the series. (Ok so the Joker's a pretty great character, but he's already all over the game) But for Terry, Bruce, Inque and Blight, I say hooray

    So with the "masks on masks" talk, has anybody hypothesized that that's how the heads work? Like if a face with eye holes plugs into a plain transparent Brain Attack head, and the indents for the mask are on the face which is to some degree a mask for a faceless head?

    I don't have a Windows computer to run the check from. I diligently checked bricklink for the parts I don't have in my collection, but obviously I don't expect exemption on my word. What should I do? Anybody awesome wanna check the file? (won't have had it uploaded till tonight probably)

    That is quite elegant. Cool concept art in his other graphics too. At least two in the "side projects" have gotta be lego (no question, far right) and bionicle, and the "Super Heroes" one is bumming me out that we never got to the release of a Wolverine figure.

    Sooooo, I'd been waiting for the gamestop site and saw the email ad, so I went to the site to order, but backed off of it because I think I want to use the store pickup option and get it asap without absurd shipping. The problem was that I seem to have seen stories in the past that they have trouble with shorting people on exclusives at some locations. Should I just call the store I'd be picking it up at and ask if they've had trouble with that in the past? I feel like they wouldn't necessarily be honest. Should I just suck it up and wait through slow $4 shipping? Or is it not that big of a risk and I'm worrying for nothing?

    I don't think so. The flame part, definitely, but I don't think "lobster" is involved.     Hey now, a balrog is open to interpretations, being from a word book, y'know? Yes, it's inspired by the film interpretation, and it doesn't maybe fit in cleanly with the movie aesthetics, but it's in line with a lot of illustrations you'll see for Tolkien - if you look at all the different published illustrations for characters in The Hobbit for example, they can get real kooky and vary a lot in style and overall design. So I guess I'm saying a Lego model doesn't always have to be a replica, it can be your own interpretation, your own illustration. Looks great, TheOneVeyronian! I always wanna try a balrog but I never get started on one. Yours has a good bulk and rockiness, it's full of character and really coherent. Haha, great description. I do see those styles in there.

    Does anyone have an explanation for Flamzer's leg connections with currently available parts? It seems to me that he might have a part that's like 60478 but with a handle on both ends, or 2 single stud versions back to back (less likely, IMO)? It's not just a foreshortened look at 48336 , because it's sitting right up against a easily identifiable 1x1 cheese and seems the same depth. And it's not staggered 60478s, because the front leg connections trace straight across the width.

    Aanchir, since you mentioned the new eye variety (2x2 grey-lidded, 2x2 mega pupil) back at the SDCC reveal, and I'm sure you saw the glow variants of the 1x1 tile and head eyes on the Glowkies, but did you see the new 1x1 tile prints in the "LEGO Classic" line? One with the pupil eclipsed a little and one that's just eyelashes. I'm sure they'll find their way into series 5, but I'm probably gonna stock up on some of the classic sets for other parts, and bricklink a bunch more eyes.

    So these Guurahk staff tips on everything, that's a placeholder for sure, right? I mean it's a fantastic piece, but not singly worthy of resurrection amid the pantheon of bionicle elements. (I refreshed the thread and saw that LN-somenumbers just caught it. LN-somenumbers: there's one on Pohatu's back too.) Kinda cool to see the gearboxes (turning at the shoulder-ball level?), hope a lock feature is implemented in the design out the box, but I'm sure it can be modded with little effort in any case. Wanna see what these bones end up looking like.. I love Gali's weapon, but not her face... as Gali. I think it looks better as a new mask than some of the old mask recreations. I think it's odd to see so many elbows and knees with non motion-confining joints, kinda don't like it. EDIT: As I typed the parentheses in that first statement 20 minutes ago, you can see why I usually decide "eurobricks doesn't need my two cents" and pass on commenting. I take a long time fiddling with tiny posts!
