  1. Thank you all for the positive feedback. Yap you are right. There are zero pieces left. The last work on this build was the snow around the building and I added the parts til the count was over. I started the work with knowing that the limit would be a problem at the end. The big panels on the corner and behind the fireplace resolve this problem perfect. But it was hard
  2. Another really big display similar to the castle one from Hong Kong. And another one really awesome build. I never visited such a big event but seing this great picture in such a perfect scenery.
  3. This is absolutely perfect! The six builders design works perfect together. Everyone has his own kind of bricking but in this gigantic area is no difference between the single locations. Ok west germans and netherlands, who will do this with me like this guys?
  4. Oh, most of it are the very beloved BURPs and LURPs . The spaces between are filled with normal bricks out of kilogramm auction from ebay or new sets.
  5. Wow cara that is absolute wonderful. All the details and the funny pink corner. On the last picture you can feel all the magic from this scene, with the light and the colours. Brilliant
  6. This is what I would call a castle. Big, high and with lots of beautiful details. 3 thumbs up
  7. Oh my god, he cooks the invisibility cloak Nice entry, maybe out of the diagonal alley?! The fireplace enlightet is wonderful. I love it
  8. After a very long night of bricking and taking photos, the entry is done. My entrys is the ugly and gloomy Hogs Head Inn. My version isn´t it, but we have a lot of Three Broomsticks in here, so anyone should do tribute to the Inn. The model based a little bit on the buildings in the HP park in orlando. They are absolutely lovely and came up with my mind reading the books. The biggest challenge was to build within the piece limit. I count the bricks over and over again. On the build and after that. On the first photo shot early this morning the entry was totaly destroied by the white plate behind . And after the rebuild and another counting (the last) I can secure that the limit is not exceeded. My special guest star is grawp. After the last fight everybody know him and he was not longer tied on the ground or in any cave. Unfortunately for Harry and Hermine, their new "best" friend decided to join a snowballgame at the pub. The only problem is, for a giant a snowball is a snowball, for Harry it is more like ...... a big problem. Harry and Hermine tried to find a safe place in the pub. They went in and Hermine introduced the waitress that Grawp stand in front of the pub. Harry on the other hand flees on the first floor. But this is not really a problem for Grawp That´s my little story over Harry and his best friend. And here are two more pictures of the interior. The middle stone of the chimney is a button to enlight the fire in the fireplace. (The old image was changed to this one, because of usage of collage) You could see other pictures with more details and views in my Brickshelf folder. I hope you enjoy the little story within this contest. The original Lego "maxi"fig was a present to my birthday and my first thought was to give him a special place in my entry. And his role as grawp is absolutely perfect in my opinion. The scale fits nearly 100%.
  9. Simply perfect, the name is program The rigging looks absolutely wonderful
  10. Wow thats really great. Unfortunately I started a similar version from one of the hogsmeade houses. Hm I have to change something. Anyway. I haven´t seen all the Potter movies, but the design looks a little bit like the Hogsmeade buildings in the HP Park. A really nice design. Only the fact that they all have snow on the roof was a little bit silly due to the fact that the park in orlando always be over 30°C
  11. 3 Elves from series 3 and 8038 Battle of Endor, the last one for a good special reduced price from a local store I day later the postman delivered a ebay parcel with 2,6 kg mixed Lego, a complete set of 4766 Graveyard Duel within
  12. Set sail mates! The cloth is cut and the Spanker (yes I did not forget it, Admiral Croissant ) is installed. Here are three new pictures of the scene. And I have to say for myself, without the stretched sails a galleon is not a galleon and thank all for the positiv comments
  13. The hull looks good. For the mast you should use another colour and round bricks. The sail is nice, but a little bit too small for the long mast. Take the full length of the technic flex hose. The dragon boats use always big sail as you could see on set 7018
  14. thank you for your view of things :) But you have done so much really brilliant castle MOCs. I have seen all of them over the last year and have to say once more that your creations are my personal favorites And the little golden icon under your avatar confirmed my view I will follow your example after this one!
  15. This is very nice and make me looking forward to the rest of it. I like your colour choice and the balancing of it. The post was done in June last year but I hope that you don´t give up the work on this nice little scene. My CB entry is the best example for believed lost builds ;)
  16. Hey efullner, really nice idea to build this one in Lego. I am looking forward to the next step of the WIP. I´m from germany and on my last vacation I visited the german marine museum in Wilhelmshaven an there was a nice model of this ship too. It was shown in a wall with no chance to take a photo from every angle but I tried my best to make a shot from all three important angles. If you need more shots from this ship I could send the pictures.
  17. Hey pirate mates. A year ago we start to build our harbour town and all the time we miss the light to find the entrance. Sorry for the very late entry. I know, I know; shame on you, shame on your family and shame on your cow! ;) My first decision was to build a long cliff with the lighthouse on top of it. The location for the lighthouse on the map match perfect for this idea, as you can see on the map in the lower left corner (the blue 4) But all other builders have to use their max size so I decided to put the tower on the end of the cliff with the option to detach it. The overall design and 75% of the build was done last year in february, but the details and all the tinkering work was done in the last week. I don´t want to show the unfinished work. What could I say :) The build is over and now you could enjoy a new MOC. I will improve myself to do in time on the next event ^^ The first pictures show the community build legal version with the 29 x 29 studs base (the legal size was 32 x 32) The next picture shows the functioning navigational light (it is done with the lightning brick of the winter toy shop. A push on the roof will enlight the fire) The ship on the next pictures is my HMS Gallardia I try to build huge waves with offshore on top of it and a breaking wave crest but the white offshore could be improve in my mind. For a good photo shot to the cliff I have not set sail. I think I will do this in the next day for a more realistic scene. In my brickshelf folder you can find 5 more pictures. I hope you enjoy this "little" bit late entry
  18. @Artanis I Yep in the 22 are some piece of choclate. A candle in the 11 and the singstar girl from the second minifig series in original bag in the 10. @Enpaz There is no non advent version planed for this, but another one from my childhood in a better way due to the fact that I now own plenty more bricks. It is the advent calendar for my girlfriend, but she is not really a big fan of Lego. Doesn´t matter. I like the part she don´t.
  19. Hi there, after a long break (sorry for that!) here is a special quick build creation special for my girlfriend. Her own advent calendar. Last week I decided to do it with Lego and the time to do this was a little bit short (1 day left ;) ) On this and the next two evenings I build this without any plan and no idea for the final design. All the 24 doors are located in the walls and the 2 real doors. On the last picture are three of them open: one door, one wall and the round tower. After this I decided to give them all a winter touch and add the snow covered castle, ground and the 2 trees. So here it is (when images free), hope you like it.
  20. White would be good addition to your exist colorscheme. It is a realistic combination and not so excessive. Good luck on your next phase. The existing middle section looks very well so far!!
  21. I would like to make a suggestion based on my impressions of the castle community build. I missed the presentation of the entire display. My suggestion is, that everyone take their normal pictures and one special shot from above. With this shot, it will be possible to show the whole display like the map of this build. We should use a special distance to take the picture and a specific size to simplify the combination of the pictures. What do you think?
  22. Wow, this is an really great idea. I saved lots of pictures out of the castle community build. And same now in pirate will be fantastic. My first wish to build was the first, because of own interests to do it for myself. But on one hand it is given away and on the other the size limit does not fit my imagination of this one. So my other wish to build would be the lighthouse, is it still free??
  23. you forget: medieval Power Rangers
  24. Yes indeed, there is a Technic Flex-System Hose in every yard. My favorite colour is brown and the yards in brown fit the other scheme ver well and are more realistic but LEGO only build black mast pieces. And yep you are right, there have to be one more yard, I have overlooked him on the picture of the batavia where I try to copy the mooring.
