  1. Hey that´s really beautiful. The round windows and roof between the towers looks perfect. All the details for example on the graves are very harmonic.
  2. I have absolutely no idea how much it is. But for example green plates are almost empty and green bricks are used more than the half of it, altogether over 7kg. Here is a sneak preview of my trees, spread across the build. The quality of the picture is bad of course. I don´t want to show too much in this stadium.
  3. Thank you all so much for your positive feedback! The last chapter is ready, ok only the terrain but now the buildings and details on the landscape could begin. I have made a lot of pictures and here they are. chapter 6 eagle eye view. Here you can see first of the different basement hit into the rock and a hole to the ground for the fountain. the total of all six chapters detail of the ramp the start of the path on the outer courtyard (build like a mosaic) and a last detail for a hidden backside entrance/escape thats it for now
  4. This is really beautiful. You could see the original in most of the buildings but they are absolutely smart upgraded. The exteriour is very nice too. Trees, green and a lovely track in it, what more could you need.
  5. Yep, not really deep. Only for variety in the surface. But your argument is right. The advantage for me is that nothing new has been done on the last step of the track, so the change could be done without any trouble.
  6. That´s a really good question. The answer is a little bit strange after all the build so far. I have a picture in my mind before I start all this and on that, the Castle overtop the whole scenery. And that 'must have' didn´t change in my mind for all the time. And you are right, one short section of it are nearly 45°. A little bit heavy but that was medieval life And for the fact that I have been home today (ill ) I could give you another update, not with new specials but solid rocking until the next update
  7. "Don´t fly to high, Ikarus!" Nice idea, pepper.
  8. Bad News, I´m running out of black bricks bigger than 3. And with only one, two and three bricks I couldn´t build the two big walls on the backside of the last chapter. But don´t worry, I have taken the (for me useless) black castle panel. The only problem is the window. I will try a good solution later. The next step after the boring wall build is the countinue of the ramp and other than on five the ramp on six is constructed on technic bricks to give the track different angles. And it works perfect, better than expected. The reason for that is to save my amount of brown plates , to reach the high that I have to reach and to give the track a more natural look. Another problem will be the use of a drawbridge. Actually there is no space for that. We will see if it will be possible or not.
  9. I don´t see the film but wow the dragons are very detailed and look awesome. And the landscape (my favourite of every Moc if present) look fantastic too. I hope your Vol 2 could expand in this point.
  10. A fan of medieval times fits best. And just because you can? Hm thats difficult, I would say it´s a conclusion to the fact that I have collect all the lego castles and have to do something like that. And I absolutely love landscapes, trees and historical buildings. And a convention would be a nice way to show it everyone but this isn´t planed in the near future. That is not a really big problem. The Dust inhere isn´t really extreme and old parts and plates with dust on it could easily clean up with a shoe brush and a little bit water
  11. The last chapter will be a hill/mountain with the castle on top of it. But I don´t know if the amount of bricks will be enough to do it. I hope so Thank you all guys for the feedback.
  12. Hi there. A new chapter is done after a long week. I have added a whole for a later fountain on the market place. And the way up to the hill starts in the upper right corner. The sharp edges in the ground are located on the places for the buildings later. And now you get a complete view of all 5 chapters. Here it is.
  13. This is a nice way to to it round, but you can see that a window will cause some trouble. Why don´t you use the normal brick way? 1 x 2 bricks oder 1 x 3 bricks with 1 x 1 round ones. Like this one from the picture. And a window is also possible in this way as you can see.
  14. After two evenings of testing new tent designs (without any really good result) I continue chapter 5 as well. Now half is done and you will see a new component of this project. Chapter 5 is the main ground for the little village and you can guess where the houses will be located I´m not sure if this will be the final setup for this. Only time will tell ^^ All six chapters (five for now) are mixed so it is not an easy job to make a shot of the whole build, sorry but maybe on the end of 5?!
  15. Sir, Yes Sir It´s a litle bit busy at the last three weeks, but I start chapter 5 yesterday. I hope to finsih it soon. Another little build is done. There will be more of that in other designs but this is the first of it. It is also the answer for the open question, what the hell will be surround the sand place The place will be edited for the final setup, off course. This was just a quick and dirty installation for a shot.
  16. 6 MISB sets 6718 from a local store. They are in the rack for 15 years! For 3 € every set.
  17. Your imagination leads you in a fantastic way. This is wonderful! White for the ancient place fits perfect and thew whole build is full of details that give them this pure and true appearance.
  18. hey kabel, nice ship you are working on. As I see the first pictures my first thought was that it looks a bit funny with all the different colours. But on the second sight it fits the real colours very well. Are any new updates and/or details are available? ;) On the window for example? I´m looking forward to see you set sail! :)
  19. That is really nice! I love it when the build not only show one thing. And you create a wonderful coast line with all details a blue or redcoat need to life. I´m fan of the rock, the round tower and the tower building in the village. Now you need a fine ship next to the dock!
  20. He brings it to the point! As I say it in the other thread, it is very special and fits perfect the drow and their dark, mighty and strange life. A few years ago, my ex play a drow at a fantasy role play game. She has to read books of the drow and say it to me. Your creations give my mind a picture of it. Very well done.
  21. Hey Angeli, thanks for this kindly words. I know what you mean. Your creation is awesome. The two colours are heavy for the eyes but fits perfect for the drow. And you are right. The only work I have done so far is the "stupid" ground but it is done with a lot of considerations. I try to let it look interesting and natural. But I try to give the buildings that flair too Ok, let´s come to chapter 4. The first version of it is ready and new for this is another tree, but he has found his final place. It is a weeping willow. I made a few pictures of trees at a little lake last sunday. One of them was model for this one. I am on vacation for the next week and then I may begin Chapter 5. We will see. Happy easter to you all
  22. no no That´s no good idea. Haalf of my Lego will be sink into baby slobber and the other into hundreds of leaning towers of pisa After this trouble from the cheap seats, let me show you the first steps of the hill from chapter 4. The rocks are not so easy done like I thought of. They take their time.
  23. Not so much as I wanted Not enough time, the old problem. Chapter 4 has begun and after a random buy of 3 trans-clear baseplates I´m not sure to use them. I have made a new picture but that´s no especially in this early stadium. Tuesday is a good day for an update, we will see
  24. That´s a good question and the answer is no. ;) The only must haves to all of them were the well known. The castle, the village, the forrest, the river and the path through the land. But all of them and where they will be located are absolutely unknown and comes up to my mind step by step. The end of chapter three was quite difficult but the limitations and the options for the next chapter have raise the land and give a nice start for the next one. Same for the forrest, I think there will be some trees spread over the diorama. I have no drawing, no calculation and the limits are given to the amount of bricks. Until I get some new with the post. :) 90% of them come from ebay and now that I have collect the most of them my main focus are parts of colours like brown, green, tan and gray. The updates for today couldn´t be done. On friday 5 new deliveries arrived and I have to clean and controll them. That takes time
  25. I don´t have enough of them and gray would be realistic but in Lego it could look strange, what do you think? Ok, after a change to my plan the missing rest from chapter three is done. Now the forth chapter (the back left corner) comes up to my mind and I will start with him on sunday I think. I'm excited to the what you think of the rest of the terrain on chapter three. Here it is. the eagle eye view the level up in detail and the total of all three chapters and a detail from the second bridge. Another way to do the bridge arch ;) Btw all the ideas for the sand place in chapter three are wrong But I have to say thank you for all the guess anyway  And thank you all for all the positive feedback.
