  1. Oh what an evil sewer rat That's really funny and well implemented. The only way to show the whole depth on this little basement is to improve the height. This kind of builds are the best in my opinion. The only thing that's impossible is the gold plate ... IT'S TO BIG ^^ no one could throw this big one in such a tiny well. just kidding "Well" done
  2. Hey that's what I'm talking about! ;) Oh my god, it is perfect. That is the only real "Derfel Cardarn style" And again the plenty of round 1x1 plates. I've sortet my black, old grey, new grey and dark grey ones and the result was sober. The combination of all your creations should display on an exhibition. I'm very excited on it.
  3. That's exactly what I think of reading the rules. Hmpf I'm a sick person with a lot of bloddy funny ideas .... that's a shame. Ok although it will be a a great honor to do my little contribution
  4. Yes very nice!! Your creations have everthing needed. The house on top of it in the rear section looks very good with the oriel window with different angle.
  5. Oha, sounds interesting. Last years version was no option for me, because there was no really good amount of bricks in my collection. That could be a very busy time, hope I find it.
  6. First I want to do a little version of this one (anyone know it?? ) but now I'm not sure. Maybe another island with bigger mounatin and without the rest of the old one. But there are definitely only two options: castle or pirate ;) @ Captain zuloo Thanks for edit. I know the game, I have play it two years ago but it was not really an idea pool for the island. Nevertheless it was good an the f*** black pearl was a really hard nut ;)
  7. Now all the Have-to-do's are done. The chapel ruin on the eastend is build. A little bit quick and dirty but I don't have many time nowadays, because of move to a new apartment and after this I could start a new project. I can't wait to do this Here are the pictures from the chapel and an overview over the whole island and a little bit offshore to finish the water (special update with blue cover under all) Next step will be the total anihilation
  8. This was my first thought reading the topic. Is it allowed to add parts that are not 100% pirate, but I think it will fit the castle, pirate and historic-town section more than all other . I very often missed 2 special sloped bricks for imposant roof techniques. First a negativ version of this one, the correct name would be "Slope Brick 75 2 x 2 x 3 Inverted Double Convex" _________________________________________________________________ And second one is also a 3 brick high slope of this one, The new name would be "Slope Brick 75 2 x 2 x 3 Double Concave" I would say, this is the special NEED :) On every roof helmet this would be the very exclusiv way to construct corners and bays. Colours are not so important, of course black!! and red. All the same for 65 degrees would be nice too, but not so important.
  9. Yes this would be very nice too, but if make it thinner towards the top you need the log bricks or 2 round ones over and under a normal brick otherwise it wouldn't work. The possible colours for the log bricks are only: brown, black, darkgrey, grey, tan and white.
  10. Uhm should this thread not be moved out of the Moc to the main pirate section? It's a funny one, but if I were a guest on this side, I would search four pages of discussion without any Moc just my 2 cent
  11. A pirate Inn (tavern) similar to the one in my moc and to the buildings of 10193 A frigate for the imperials with sails without stripes ;) Docks for bigger ships with crane and something like that (a little bit like that "Z" show in his thread "Fort brighton east") Edit: Oh i forgot: Please turn back from redbrown to brown. This color looks soooo dirty
  12. I don't know where I can find the technique section or if it already started, so I upload them here. They could taken for it. Here are a few pics to show you the build in techniques. The red/brown of them are from my new WIP ship The curved "planking look" and the three points where they are fixed to the hull One of these fixpoints of the first ship and the cut behind the second mast. Two different systems to connect the canon shutter with the plank. The deckdoor and the technic solution to connect them to the mast. And the cabine with the seven sided window gallery. enjoy it
  13. Total of 33: 16 red old shooting 14 brown old shooting 2 green old shooting 1 blue old shooting It is a little bit strange, I never use the shoot function, but if I had the non shooting US version of it, I would miss it. All of my friends are laughing hear that the us version (most of them) can't shoot. That's the opposite of free weapons ;) So if I had the choice, I would take the shooting Lego canons and f*** of real guns
  14. Yes this will be very funny when it's done. Keep on working. And JCC1004 is right, the picture size is a little bit hardcore ;)
  15. How much dust could lie on a ship before sinking? I don't understand why some ebay user don't do they best to make it looks perfect. The BSB is not really bad in comparison to what I've seen a few weeks ago: A round about 2 kilo auction with 1 picture, show a bag and on top of it a few bricks. But the best was the description: "Picture is not good" thats all!! I would say, done everything right ;)
  16. Don't forget the white/red faction. Or you have lots of enemys in here This is why I only build pirate Mocs. just kidding Your tough enough guy looks very fine!!
  17. hey tach auch ;) I tried to send you a personal message, but that's not possible for this moment. To increase your collection take a longer look at ebay. Your german Lego section is very huge in my opinion. I have found all I want sooner or later. The only castle missing in my collection is 10176. It's really rare online as a auction. Back to topic The update with a spanish church ruin for this moc is freeze for the moment. I moved myself to a new flat and it has to be finished first. The same is for the technique details of the ship.
  18. On page 2 if you really wanna see it ;)
  19. Wow that's an amazing beauty. So big and with so many details. The sails and the rigging looks awesome.
  20. Photoshop. I created a 3 level psd. First and third level with the changed original and in the level between the borderfree ship. And than rub out the place of the ship with 50% rubber intense.
  21. Very nice The use of a halfdoor for the bridge is brilliant. But my favorite is the use of the white logs, I love this bricks. It's not special but give them an extraordinary look.
  22. Wow how beautiful and lovely! And the light in it make this set to 100% must have. I hope that my Lego store of my confidence get this.
  23. Yeah that's the classic front. As I start the ship I don't know if I should use such a front but after the decission to copy the boat fromthe picture, I loose this idea. But hey ;) it´s Lego, so I test this other front and post it. If this should be frontpaged I photoshoped the ship into a drawing of rough sea.
  24. Oh a ship building techniques index?! Nice. Yes I could do this. Here is the picture out of the book.
  25. Indeed @ Captain Zuloo Yes it is finally the "Lion of Luebeck" and yes I forgot that there is no ü on this side available On my investigation about shiptypes, names and so on I found the "Adler of Luebeck" and decided to add a sistership. Thats it @YnyklY (difficult name btw) I will post the template (from the bow and the middle section) of the ship out of a childrens knowledge book. The bow is a copy of this and only the upright yellow (tan, gold whatever) sprout on top of it are missing.
