  3. He loves long ships reaaaally long ships, but in this case he is right. The ship should increase more length or decrease the hight. The colour scheme is nice.
  4. Wow very beautiful and full of life. My old Island was planed to do it more like this, but I failed. This would be a nice PVE2 entry, unfortunately you missed it :(
  5. Hey welcome! Your first attempt looks really good. I would improve this with buildings on angles and a ramp to the landing stage for easy loading. No one could climb the ladder heavy loaded. Hope you find a way to do it with bricks, it's the only real feeling and if you have so much of it, they screem to use them.
  6. Tze tze tze Hornbricker you are so cruel and the only reason was the wrong flag on top of it. Yes or no? But hey, we simply say this was damaged on their journey. ^^ Finally it is a good training to do it ones more
  7. This was an answer out of the prize pool thread. Unfotunately we have to be patient. I asked myself why they aren't at the same time, maybe this could alter the result. I don't know.
  8. Every brick used say greeds to you :) I hope you love it, anyway you are the spiritual father of this a little bit. Oh good, I already thought would make all things new. Great Thanks to this. Unfortunately I didn't find the time to build a medium entry. There was a really good idea no one realized it.
  9. Ok, now the vote starts, but the next question is. How long will it be open?
  10. JKool - 1 Admiral Ron - 1 Lorenzen - 1 JanSued - 1 Mariann Asanuma - 1 Selander - 1 Nate - 1 Too much good to give them all to one. Good luck to all.
  11. Open a placebo voting thread for Otters!!! The contest is over, but he have to write forther and further. It will be a hard time for him till the next contest :D
  12. omg thess figs look absolutely perfect. If you'd left the names, they would still be able to identify without any problems. cool
  13. This one could blindfolded assigned to you SlyOwl. It is perfect. Especialy the cranewheel looks good to me ;)
  14. This is a great entry, like a few other entering this contest. The amount of buildings in this "little" corner is really great. And the different styles give them all a great touch of reality. The only thing I wonder is the big gate to .... umm... yeah gate to what? Is this the gate for undesirable town guests, so the ones that were not already hanged or imprisoned?
  15. Common?? This is Enemy number one!! Destroy them all Very nice idea and lovely implementation.
  16. Oh looks like I missed this one due to the long time of internet abstinence. The profit of this violence free contest is the big amount of different content. This one is another special with great presence. The roof looks very nice. You have taken two very distance shots from the frontside, one with more details could show different techniques. Anyway, great entry. Good luck
  17. Ahhh, that was the info that I had missed. Thanks for the quick answer.
  18. This is my first contest I've entered, so I don't know how the judging will be done exactly. Someone give an explaining or an example how to do this?
  19. You are so right. Especially in your case. You do a really good job, so I wonder myself that no feedback was done by you .... right now. Keep it up
  20. The big number of late entries will cause some trouble at the end. So the one or another nice entry was overlooked very instant. In this case, it's a pity if nobody noticed this nice one entry. For me the brown-tan building look very fine and the 2 little fountains are absolutely lovely. But the big emptiness (as it said by Derfel) in front of the quay should be improved. The water with Snot technique fits very well but some more colours (light blue, white...) would give this more depth. The same for the little island. A little bit green, stones or something like that. The best thing on this is unintentional comedy. If you compare the first and second picture you see that a large ship arrives, tie on the quay and will be offload. BUT the little raft shiper with his tiny paddle stay on the same point. Looks like a strong flow On his grave stone will stand: Lost at rough sea ^^
  21. Thank you all so much for your good consent. Yeah your are so right, a friend of mine look at it and the first thing was: "On which way will it launch?? Moeoeoep!" That's one of the bitter pills they have to take on this temporarily "shipyard" I want increase more single stones like the few near the water, but ALL 1x1 round plates (with a good color) are used. This entrys base was much more smaller than my old island, but so much more intense in special parts. My problem is that I have bought all castles and a bit kg ware at the beginning of 2009 and the most of it are oldschool with the old color theme. Need more new Lego O....k.... just fun It is very funny but also difficult to built a building where no stone should look like another near him. And it is surprising how many possibilities there are.
  22. Thanks for this, and I'm glad to made this. The first idea for this came from bonaparte in the PTV2 contest thread. I've another ideas but this one was the best one. And the first rough plan was done very quick. But finally it drain out some kind of parts, so brown tile, dark grey tile and such a thing. Unfortunately this is the reason why the crane construction is done with normal plates. Thank you, this from you is a big confirmation for this. This new ship was build with the same technique but now it's complete till the end of the bridge. This is a very beautiful variant to build a small bridge but the whole process to the ready shiphull was very .... annoying. In this ready status the whole ship is very strong, but on the way .... oh my god ^^ sorry for that
  23. Hey captain, what a lovely underwater ...no wait *delete*... overwater ...hmpf *delete*... waterless scene. That's it! The different height levels give them all so much depth and solid base. The house on the upper left looks very fine with the blue and black slopes but the beam above is a bit chunky. Not really bad. Very good entry
  24. Front side view and the beautiful waterfall Rear side view, with interieur AND the first real discoverer of the new world in his deep grave. The big crane with captains sanctuary on the hook. The main working place where all things come together. and finally the frontside of the buildings on the left. A store and a colonial house. With the limit of six pictures I couldn't show all little details, so go to my new Mocpage and take a look. (ok, now all 20 pics are online) Thanks for your look and good luck for all the "pillagers" (raiders) ;)
