  1. Very nicely done, might be cool to see if you can make one with bigger wheels like the power pullers or exoforce ones
  2. 1. No, usually because they are good models, I only own the Star Wars statues 2. Individual 3. London Eye 4. A life size human or some massive technic mode? 5. I would love to see a really large scale engineered technic set to the same sort of scale as the millennium falcon (e.g 5000 parts). Also I would like to see more ships, love the new pirate one. Oh and the return of monorail!
  3. It just looks like C to me, download the demo mate at http://www.robotc.net It feels fairly clean to me and also supports coding to the rcx
  4. Well in my honest opinion, I don't know I went with RobotC as its nice to use and has some good samples including lots of 3rd party ones. It has a brill debugger and some support for commands that NXC does not (according to them when I asked the same question) However the only reasons I don't tell you to get RobotC is A) It cost money however a trail is available and is pretty cheap to buy B) The main sensor I want to use is the IRLink with an RCX and no one has done this with RobotC (it does however support PF), Hitechnic do provide an NXC example. It seems hardware companies do NXC examples before RobotC. I have not used NXC yet
  5. How strong is this wheel? Could you make 4 of them and add a hub and then make a car? Very interested in this
  6. Hello there The sensor is a Hitechnic one and they said that so far no one has created a RobotC rapper for it. I might have a go or a friend of mine might. MindSensor make there own version which could be very different but again, worth a look. It could also be possible to convert the NXC code in to RobotC Yes people have used the Wii with the NXT, they tried using the NXT with all sorts of stuff. The NXT is a great bit of kit but the software is sh**
  7. I own one of these but no one has written a RobotC to RCX api
  8. Found this a very very useful post, I need some big wheels for my next project!
  9. I want one, can you make me one (lol) Be great to have a wireless RCX tower. Wonder how much it would cost
  10. Ebay UK had a few selling a little time ago and were going for around £6 each I got 2 units. I be interested in checking out the vb.net control and seeing if it works better than my vb6 one
  11. I not tried Flowol out, looks interesting For details for the protocol i found all the information from the website http://web.telia.com/~u16122508/dacta/ Most useful source I found, the dll works a little then dies but the information is vital
  12. Very cool, I have a feeling your going to raise the bar for train people. Good use of technic!
  13. Well I got my wedo kit last night and well, the software is far too basic but at the same time not that simple but the actual kit is quite cool. I made up a small program in a few minutes. I think I am going to look in to aVB dll for this as its a waste with the current software
  14. Cool well if the source is there, I might be able to reverse engineer it in to some sort of activeX dll What do most people code there lego in? I use robotc for nxt and vb6 for my dacta control panel. RCX, I probably use vb or robotc
  15. I just brought a wedo hub (I know I know), does anyone know if there is any api's for it so I can control it in vb, c etc
  16. I can put up version 2 if anyone cares lol
  17. Its only the prototype really, but I have some inspiration from from another beam engine on youtube. I want to try and get it running better and with less flex in the beam. Next MOC will be a pneumatic train
  18. Well thought I have a go at making a beam engine out of Lego that would run off compressed air (Lego compressor). Took me a few hours to do but this is only version 1 which to be honest is a bit temperamental. Let me know if anyone has any questions,
  19. Did you mean RC? Are you saving XL use less power than RC?
  20. I love that box, some fantasic stuff people!
  21. Really interested in this as I tried to do something like this with my robot but found the RC unit lacking in power with just 2 XL motors? + stering Any issues?
  22. This is brilliant, congrats on such a good moc!!
