  1. Nice MOC! I like the fully-tiled interior! Another item is the 4-table work partition! All the best!
  2. I was No. 3 to do the poll! I chose Bavarian Boy. Somehow I am always after minifigs which symbolises a place/country e.g. Bagpiper, Royal Guard. And now the Bavarian Boy! Aliens are out for me though. Just do not know what to do with them when I have them.
  3. I just ordered a DVD. Can't wait to watch it!
  4. Great diorama! Looks like you enjoyed the occasion! The Big ben with the buses look great!
  5. An ingenious MOC! Work and play at the same time! I like the packages near the entrance of the MOC. is that the yellow truck about to be packed loose? The colours used are just so "FRIENDS"!
  6. when I saw the real 5-rings on the Tower Bridge, I was thinking if anyone will do that in LEGO. You made my dream come true. Instead of the white plate behind, are you able to replace with trans-clear plates? if so, the effect will be better though yours is !
  7. Fantastic building! Very medieval (is that the right term?)! The inside is just so colourful I needed a pair of shades to view your MOC...
  8. I use Photobucket to upload photos. you may want to try if your flickr cannot work
  9. B-M-07D My entry for the Modular Madness Category 1: The Library. The front. Was going to do a tree-lined avenue but decided not to as it will block the entrance. The side profile The back. Windows lined the entire length of the back to allow natural light to enter for readers' ease of reading. The back consists of a tiled area for taking study/reading breaks and lawn area for basking in the sun. That's all folks!
  10. the bridal boutique is so sweet! the use of the pink tiles with the white interior matches perfectly to the business nature! by the way, is the stairs to the third storey made up of clear bricks/tiles? Took a closer and answered my own question. the Tea House is just brilliant. the interior is just screaming out to tea-lovers to buy more tea! All the best!
  11. that is 1 great mini-modular! The use of the telephone piece for the building is great!
  12. My vote goes to: Redhead1982 - 1pt Roger Rabbit - 1pt Darkdragon - 1pt All the best to all particpants! All are great entries!
  13. That tower block in your Rapunzel vig is an art in its own right already! By the way, was a candy house (like a gingerbread house) featured in Hansel and Gretel? if so, make sure you make me salivate when I see your house in that vig.
  14. Great facade there! Black and White (my favourites)! Looks like the crowd is starting to come in! the separate toilets is a nice touch!
  15. Your Schloss MOC freaked me out! Great castle and town area! I cannot imagine the amount of parts used!
  16. the facade is excellent! I like the photo of the hallway (4th photo) which showed the light fittings! All the best!!
  17. Thank you for all the nice comments and good luck notes! Thank you for all the nice comments and good luck notes!
  18. Great colour scheme! The gable ends are well-made!
  19. B-OM-25B Finally I got my entry for Cat 3 done! I present herewith the Acorn Pub. A 3-storey pub with a pub on the 1st storey, a dining area on the 2nd and a recreation area-cum-toilet on the 3rd. The front. the red object at the front is a mailbox. The side. A matching lamppost with a bench for tired shoppers to warm down before hitting the pub. The 1st storey. The bar with the different beers/alcohol (as shown in coloured round bricks on the shelves). The 2 green tiles at the bottom of the picture are tables for standing drinkers. 2 bartenders should suffice for this floor. The 2nd storey. The cooks are busy cooking up some meals for the diners. A waiter is waiting (Note: A bit under-staffed but the owner is looking to employ more staff. ) The 3rd storey. The recreation area. with tables for the guests to sit at for a drink. The pool table about to be used soon. There is a door in the background which leads to a balcony for smokers. errmm...that's it. Let me know if you need more photos. All comments are welcomed! Thank you!
  20. That MOC is nice! The colour scheme would have been appropriate for a pre-colour tv/photo look. Add in some minifigs in the colours of which you have specified and we could be watching a 1930s movie. Sidetrack a bit: the newly textured bricks look great but the fact that they only come in 1 x 2 makes it hard to "finish" off a building without using the normal bricks unless you intend to clad the ends with tiles. I am hoping that 1 x 1, 1 x 3, etc bricks will be out soon.
  21. Nice house with a family feel! I like the bookshelf which was incorporated into the staircase! The fireplace is !
  22. the Hitchhiking Ghosts vig is real creepy! but well-made!
  23. For a fast sale, sell your action figures as bundles. i.e. He-Man with the other Masters of the Universe figures, Beast Wars in another lot. That way they move faster. If you sell individually, the popular ones will be gone and you are left with the unwanted ones. Also it saves you time listing one by one. You can do this on eBay.
  24. Great Red Riding Hood vig! The smoke from the chimney is ! That house looks just like it is out of a fairy tale!
  25. The thing about BAM is that the minifigs built tend to be a mega-mismatch. When I was in Cardiff, I had a go at the BAM and got a bearded face with forestman's hat and slope torso (i.e. skirts/dresses). and to top it off, each minifig was holding onto a drumstick-less turkey. But I love BAM!
