well I was just doing that exaggerating thing phes does with his pirates. Besides someone has to put a new "twist" on the forums. And time twisters is a great theme and might i just regress into a little three year old as i say la la la la la im no-ot listening la la la la la la

well i think lego used to really care about educating young minds because of the accuracy of their pirates theme. I mean it really taught you about how the natives priates and imperial soldiers would have interacted in the days of yore. But now they dont give a rats BEEHIND, now its all about the money. Ironically this is why lego isnt selling as well now, Because they are too closely tied with the media, instead of being the exact opposite and more educational. I beleive deep down inside all kids subconciously want to learn, they just want to have fun while doing it and there was a time when lego did just that. But gone are the days when lego was lego and not nazigo.

as a time twister/ time cruisers fan i really like that kind of weird stuff. However i wouldnt expect it would sell any better than those themes. I dont actually think theres a problem with the themes. Its set design which is killing lego, they just need to start making better sets. For example when i counted all the plates in the knights wall set, i only came up with three! There were only three plates in the whole friggen thing! The castle of morcia had only 72, which is really sad for a 600 peice set. In my humble opinion, i just dont think the new design team can design a decent building and even though they are using lots of great new building techniques in the space themed sets, they are still lacking in design. I hate to say it but the new designers just dont have the spirit of the designers of 1996 or 1997 (which were good years for lego with benchmark sets, like the twisted time train and the Mystic mountain time lab, which ar possibly the best sets ever made. X-D )

ok, i just thought of another question. and apparently we had another week of school so im still here. Anyway i was going to buy specific peices for a project. The project was going to be a seperate lab for the time twisters (you may remember that i am a time twisters finatic). The idea was that the lab was going to be built in a ship wreck, thats why i wanted all those hull peices. However, just because i dont think i will find any ship hulls, i have decided to do a kind of steampunk model. So my questions now are 1. what should i make (please note somethings going on with my key board and i cant type question marks, they come out like this

i was thinking, why isnt it just a one floor clinic instead, before i even read Xenologers post. I think lego was doing well before because it was more about the brick. Now its all about money, like everything else these days...

He obviously just isnt good at pillaging and lighting kiosks aflame with a single torch. Its like if a fireman one day decided to get a job as a doctor. He cant because he just doesnt have the credentials or experience. Besides there auditions, whats to say he didnt just mess up on whatever he was auditioning for and they ended up hiring a different exo-force character anyway. What say you to that Phes? i get the joke but it just seems kind of corny. I just wouldnt say its an LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL so much as it is an LOOOL. However it is certainly not an roflmao or an omg lol. However one could say it was a 'HAhaha or maybe just a light LOL or lol depending on which cas you find appropriate.

phes i agree with you i seem to be at a loss :-/ ? why is this funny? Maybe its because most of my humor is entirely random (i just havent shown it yet because it seems eurobricks cant appreciate a good old game of exploding bug rockets and floating dry leaf gondolas; where the only rule is dont get in the gondollas because theyll crumble up and they are extremely unstable, and the main guidline is Avoid blue things in shells that spike you when you pick them up. Like the rare cactus concealed in a shell with a dangrous mechanism which sends the cactus flying off in some random direction eventually coming in contact with an exploding rocket full of catterpillars. And though we may want to fear the ominous presence of exactly 324.7 ominous spiders hiding in giant multicolored old plado cubes, remminecsent of our child hood. I feel we must not, for we must act now before the spiders attack. So i implore you to light your giant plado cubes aflame and fill up your old Napolean Bonapartes Conquest, Ominous Spider Shootin Moon Boots with the remaining spider carcasess and attack your grandmothers chin as it too contains plado with spiders lurking inside.) Really i just dont find it all that funny. P.S. It would be more humorous if the vikings were about to attack some exo-force robots and the exo-force guy was in his regular clothes and they said he wasnt the right guy for the job. HEck it would be funnier if we knew whaat the job was...

well i must admit, even i liked bionicle before, when they had those huge monsters (cant remeber the names) but after that i lost interest. I really am not fond of lego without minifigs (however i did buy all the animal designer sets because they were just amazing likenesess). Anyway those monsters were actually fun, and back then i really liked bionicle. Now its just corny, i mean how many darn robots can go around fighting other robots before someone says, stop, weve done this to death. We really oughta start investing in making less junioriized system sets. Thats what i want to know

is this going to replace old grey!? ofcourse not. If you still have two different greys then models with both types are going to look less professional. Also the problem with Bley is its too light and has a blue tinge. I just dont understand what the point is in making more repulsive greys. Does the leg company have some sort of comitee just to find ways to anger AFOL's?

seeing all these different designs you can build with a single exoforce set kind of makes me want to buy one. I was kind of reluctant before because there were so many specialized peices but im kind of intruiged now. Its for sure a good theme, but i would have preffered if lego did it when they were under old management, that would have made it perfect.

i still got to know though, will i be able to buy the following x2 brown small ship bow peices x1brown small ship middle peice x1brown small ship stern peice x3 brown large boat rigging assembly x1 wide boat bow x4 1X4x3 train windows maybe x1 4x4x3 roof window x5 blue 1x4x3 windows with lattice window things (sorry im too lazy to look up the name) x2 blue 4x4x2 hollow cones x2 cattle horns i think those are the only discontinued peices i hope to find (theres more but i dont want to look up the names). Anyway, if you look in my last post. I added a link. Under shops it said clubhouse. Doesnt that mean if the club house has those peices, that I can buy them? And if so is the club house likely to have any of these?

the reason sets are so junioriized is because legos now under the management of a complete moron. Thats just my humble opinion though....I wish another more capable man would assasinate the current owner with lego ninjas, take charge and bring back all the classics and then with his crack team of veteran lego designers build more time twister, time cruiser models and show the stinkn lazy youth of today what legos really about. but seriously the media hasnt changed that much since the 90s. I dont think kids are really that much more lazy, its just most kids are so lego thinks this crap will sell better. Well its just not cutting it for me.

ok, i was just wondering if you ever tried to build something that could have been an early lego set. This means 1. not too many plates and not too few 2. basic brick stacking is kept to a minimum and you break up walls with windows and the like 3. complex building techniques but not too complex for someone under 9 to do 4. maybe in a series with some other 'sets' you made 5. not too many plates stacked ontop of eachother 6. not too big 7: no unorthodox or weird building techniques that require you to modify a peice or use it for something it wasnt meant for For instance, a year ago, before i became a eurobricker; i did a steampunk wild west theme and after completing it I felt like making a fake lego maniac commercial and moved these things around singing the lego maniac song. Its just really cool, the feeling you get after. Unfortunately i cant show pics of these because i destroyed them. Im going to lego land and a number of other places in california this spring. And i have a few questions about buying lego there, as this will probably turn into a lego shopping trip and maybe if they have one a remedial lego class 8-| Question 1: are there lego building lessons that can improve your building, or do i have to just keep practicing at home? question2: can you buy seperate peices by color and shape, or is there some other system? Question3: Do they sell otherwise discontinued peices there? Im looking to buy some old boat hull peices. Question 4: how much can i expect to pay for custom bags if there is such a thing? Question5: is it worth going? Question 6: do they still sell any legoland exclusives? i hope i can get answers to most of these before the end of this week because thats when were going

no i was suggesting the system they use on some forums, where you can delete your post only if it is the last post in a thread, therefore it doesnt matter because no one replied after that post anyway. I mean sometimes i cant think of anything to say on topic and this causes me to just put 'deleted post' if i could say 'hey nice weather' then editing would work fine, but that isnt on topic so i would get sent back to the chamber. And about the changing titles. Well, on all the forums ive ever belonged to, no one has abused this system and i doubt out of all the forums that they would abuse it here. Apart from this i could edit any of my posts to say something entirely different anyway, isnt that one of the reasons to use quotes? and couldnt you quote somebody who later deleted a post? And what about this? obviously nobody uses this alias on these forums and obviously no one has admited to living in a mindmill on these threads...? im just saying

why can't we delete our own posts, i mean i sometimes write something i might regret and maybe i want to delete the post and in a case where i start a new thread, delete the topic. However i cant even request that the mods delete it because i'm not allowed to change the title of my own topic. No offense to the admins, but these forums lack some very fundamental and easy to program technology.

well the color kind of makes for color clashes, which was also a problem with my pirate ship moc. But i have to agree its a very nice overall design.
