how about: 1. Scrap this "Bad Guy Vehicle!" Just melt it down completely 2. scrap 2nd mech because its not much better 3. Build something decent 4. build more decent EF sets
-
given tlg's violence policy im thinking the soldiers might look something like this
-
something i worry about is. Can you build whatever you want? I get the feeling they might just have preprogrammed models as it seems sort of farfetched that they can integrate any model into the environment (lego universe) with the kind of framerate we saw in the trailer. I also wonder if all pieces and minifigs would be available and what building techniques would be programmed. For example can hinges be set at any angle? Is there a team that would perhaps research new techniques using brickshelf, so our building capacity isnt too limited compared to building with our collections. I hope we can build anything we want but im not sure we can. And if you encounter a noob just whip out an moc and Pwnz em! Half the fun of these games is pwning noobs. also what do you expect the cost to be and how much Ram will be needed? I hope my computer can run it or that'll be it for me. I'll go postal... or Loco. Whichever's cooler.

i suppose i meant what is the hype about a simple java or flash program that allows you to pair up various minifig parts? Are these meant to be used as decals and the program is to make a fitting room effect to see which torso's look good with a specific fig?
-
but better still would be some stairs

furthermore just thinking about it. How would they be able to animate your model once built? How could they integrate your design into the universe sadly that sort of programming is a pipedream. The models might all be prefab. really I wish they would allow all techniques and research Moc's to find new ones.

this could really cost lego. If the building function isnt too finicky and all elements were available and there were snot techniques in the programming i dont know if i'd have any reason to use my real bricks anymore. I mean whats better than making an moc instantly sharing it and pwning everybody who dislikes it?

i dont get the point of this??? :S ??

i really hate them all. 1 might have been nice back in the 70's or 80's but now it's just lame. 2 is pretty nice but small and undetailed. 3 is just wierd, its almost as if this place was outside and while detailed it's poorly designed and a fairly boring build by the looks of it. 4 <insert that tiresome argument>. Plus the design doesnt make any sense whatsoever!. But i picked two because it was decent for its time.

i really hate that yellow piece. It's complete <insert that tiresome argument> megablocking nonsense and what i meant was stuff like this, this, and this Dacta just seems to be the name lego uses to refer to sets that contain supplementary parts. Basically we were on the same wavelength.
-
you probably saw this coming but mine would have to be this guy
-
i like your optimism hinkley a new Dacta set. That would be awesome, but i really have to doubt that's the case.
-
what a piece of crap! Thats all i have to say *sad*
-
great find Apo! I like the overall idea and the trolls. But this set seems a bit <insert that tiresome argument>. And i'm not sure if i like all these new pieces, too many could be a bad thing.
-
i like the unfolding hood and i imagine the engine contains some pretty good greebs
-
mine is I like it because of all the time travel related sets it's the best designed. Despite accusations against lego that the Time cruisers/ twisters themes were just a scam to get rid of surplus pieces, i think its the most unique thing TLG has ever done.

i'm with SW4j on this one

so this is something i made along time ago, but i didnt like the interior and i couldnt seem to fix the problem. I wanted to build it again today and looked at the pics. I decided hey these arent half bad. So i'm posting them. Also rebuilding doesnt look too promising a prospect. :'-( THE SLUGWORM! The slugworm was one of the finest vessels of what could be called piracy's second golden age. It didn't pack a lot of punch; it was a spy vessel, but it was the first of it's class. With plenty of communication devices, it could send out waves to scramble communications and monitors of enemy planes and ships. It had only a single torpedo at the front to protect it in engagements with foe craft. However it was so proficient at confusing pilots and captains. That allied planes and ships would often attack eachother in the frivoloty of it all. One of the many tricks employed by these new era pirates and one of their best. the top view the side So anyway, i built this moc after thinking up a clever way to make a window with this piece and this piece. This is to the best of my knowledge my own idea, and one that i thought was pretty good. Because when built like this there aren't any obstructions as with this for instance. Basically the moc was built to use this idea, however i ended up using some pretty cool snot techniques and adding my own brand of crazyness by attaching a ridiculous amount of antennae to it. Overall i'm pretty sad i probably wont rebuild it; i miss the playability factor alot. I had another moc that went with this, An outpost. It also used a unique window design, using magnifying lenses. It fit the theme perfectly, with lots of antennae. But i scrapped that cause i didnt like the mounted machine gun and cannon. Also i thought i'd build something better.

need i say more?

I thought this was kind of neat if you want scenes of jepordy in your lego train layout. ;-)
-
my only problem is with the grey click hinge pieces. I would consider an alternative way to build that part
-
Dropship! Beleive me man it has alot of useful pieces and the three vehicles make for excellent playability.
-
We need a Wild Wild West- like theme. You know post victorian steampunk. Thats what i'd like to see.
-
but why do that when there is already a shako? please explain why everybody is saying we need shako's when we already gottem?
-
ahh that explains it :-)
