I am. It seems moc pages and brickshelf often go down, so maybe we should just have a permament topic, - is brickshelf/mocpages down?- or maybe even - is site x down - where members could just come in and say brickshef is down or mocpages is down.

you know i thought about it and i still nonetheless, think america and canada being one nation is a horrible idea. I mean basically the effects would be the same if they invaded. We would probably lose healthcare. Our education system would be very much like th american one (and they have poor grade point averages). We would lose our status and high regard the world over. Crime would increase and the meager respect we already have for the french canadians would be even less, prejudices against other groups would increase aswell. In Canadian politics we also seem to have a good balance of communist and capatilist philosophys that will be lost due to our assimilation. And what of the CIA, do you really want an organization like that? What about phone tapping, we dont have that here? Dont you care about any of these values Gyl? If not then what are you doing in Canada?

well i was thinking in alot of city and classic castle mocs, they'll look too choppy. As for space mocs, these will probably make for more greebling possibilities. However the old ones worked great for both situations.

Amanda bynes preformance was stunning and those tunes were so catchy... :-D I cant beleive you fell for that! :-D But in all seriousness there is an emoticon to show you just how i felt after this movie, half of which i slept through, embarasingly slouched in my chair, it is :-X. I only saw it because my young cousins wanted to see it. I tagged along as i hadnt seen them in ages. I purposefully walked out of the theater shaking my head in shame, simply because i wanted anyone who wasnt there to know that i didnt enjoy it in the least.

well this set actually has some really good greebling but the overall design sucks. And did you see that stupid thing hikaru is flying, it looks like an already crappy missile launcher for another set.

Thats different, you can hardly see the tops of those guys heads, whereas these cones are visibly different and are used in many moc's as architectural features, they might not be quite as versatile to add to the aesthetic of moc's like this. these cones also remind me of this building toy system that's long gone, it was made up of various plastic tubes with peg connections, i had a set when i was 6 or so, where the proposed models were dinosaurs and it had cones that look just like these. As far as im concerned this is a sad day for the afol community. No doubt the price of cones on BL will go up.

Yes he has a strange philosophy and i cant understand it myself, i see him as somewhat of an anarchist in that he is against all government institutions, but he is against gun control. You have to admit he offers a fresh and zany perspective though.

well Gyl you said to take our political views of ron paul to the community forum and thats just what i did. Do you think ron paul offers a fresh perspective or do you think he's an indecisive idiot? And are you not buying the ron paul mosaic simply because the proceeds go to support his campaign? I personally like many of this guys ideas, even if i disagree about the fact he thinks we should get rid of the UN. Well the debate is on.

Its way better than the original IMO, sleeker and its well designed all things considered, i may pick one up even, and its been a while since ive bought a SW set.

Man this sucks. I suppose they made it to cut costs again. The old molds are probably worn out and this designs cheaper, this company has lost its roots completely. :-X
