  1. I'm usually not a fan of 6 stud wide cars because they look to wide compared to buildings but this one is an exception. Well done.
  2. I might try this when I have more time. That sight is cool though, look what I found on it: http://www.moillusions.com/2006/04/lego-escher-illusion.html
  3. Looks decent but I'm not one for clone brands. You should try using those instructions to make a lego truck, it shouldn't be that hard as all the pieces look similar to lego pieces.
  4. Love the MOC and the song, nice job on the fountain thats my favorite part. Good use of the speed racer head too, it works great there.
  5. Thats what I was thinking but then again I wouldn't care if they were useful I would get them to display.
  6. You could pretty much put anything on this and it would look fantastic. I'm looking forward to more pictures. Any chance of posting islands 1-3 here too? Also do you still have all three or did you use the same pieces in all of them?
  7. I personally have always sided with the pirates but thats just my opinion. What makes this such a great theme is that all 5 fractions, Pirates, Islanders, Red/Blue Coats, and Spaniards can all be seen as good. To quote many a pirate "We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho." what more could you want.
  8. Wow from what I read this is funny and very interesting. Allot of time must go into this so nice work on that and the editing. Nice Job.
  9. Those would be cool for this set: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=8633-1
  10. This is probably the greatest custom minifig I have ever seen. This is exactly what I want TLC to make.
  11. I had planned on making it higher but I ran out of light grey slopes.
  12. Nice job on the angled fins on the back and the interior. It can hold a surprising amount of cargo/people for a 4 wide plane.
  13. It's kind of the same reason, CC was released first because it had no interior, and therefore didn't cost too much. Later they released Green Grocer, with an interior and a greater cost, after testing the market for modular buildings.
  14. In addition to the others a chrome Batman would be nice. Not sure how they would do the cape though.
  15. I had thought they were medieval market villages but maybe I just made that up in my head.
  16. Is the light brick the same one in the new Agent set? I have that one but no exo-force sets.
  17. Great job of keeping the Spanish theme throughout. Great to see some more spanish MOCs here as most people focus on the red or blue coats.
  18. I feel the same way. I love the MOC too, looks like someone is making good use of all those MMVs.
  19. Wow your story is remarkably similar to mine except your a bit older. Don't worry about it I hardly ever play with mine anymore. Welcome to Eurobricks and have fun!
  20. Ya thats pretty much it, the world just ends like a cliff and beyond that is clouds and nothingness. I love where the sidewalk ends Shell Silverstiene is my favorite poet.
  21. This is the MOC I built based on these books: http://www.randomhouse.com/kids/edgechronicles/ The series is a cross between Pirates and Steampunk complete with flying ships and floating rock cities. This is also my first attempt at building anything in Miniscale. The MOC is based on this picture from the site: The names of the places are written on the map but it's a little small so I'll explain. The floating city is called "Sanctaphrax", the city under that is "Undertown", and to the left is "The Stone Gardens" Overal The rock that the city is built on is tethered to the ground by a chain and the entire setting is on the edge of the world (hence the name). The Stone Gardens This is where the stones grow and gain boyancy. Eventually they will be used to give ships boyancy or even replace the floating rock that Sanctaphrax is built on. Undertown This is where the average citizens live. I'm still not really happy about this though so does anyone have any suggestions? Sanctaphrax This is where the academics live and study in the academies. There is also a docking station for the floating ships. View from the rock This is the view from the highest tower looking down onto Undertown. I might add The Mire, Twilight Woods, and Deepwoods later but this is all for now. I would recommend these books to everyone and they are a great source of insparation if you are looking for something to build.C+C are appreciated.
  22. Not sure if it's good enough to go here but you can check later Edit: on second thought I think I'll post it here I need something to test my picture taking skills on.
  23. Wow I have never seen this before what does it mean by "Ultimate Sticker Book"?
  24. This set looks great compared to the other classic pirates sets and the islander figures are well done. I am a proud owner of this set and I still love how well the sail and mast work with the boat. Red is probably not the most historically accurate color for the canoes but it brings some less common colors to the pirate line.
  25. I have seen this show a couple of times and I really like it. My favorite episode is the russians vs. americans one. It manages to be interesting while still involving allot of math.
