Carribean Clipper and Black Seas Barracuda are the only older ones. I would also like some new 2009 sets though.

I built the city in miniscale last night but the ship in miniscale is giving me trouble. I think I will have to wait until I get a hull and some masts before I attempt it in minifig scale.

I agree the cars without those fenders were better in my opinion. Before I saw this I thought that torso was in light flesh the skin under the collar is not yellow so maybe it's an undershirt?

I like the arcade games and good job with the sign, i have always had trouble with lettering.

Thanks for the help. I have been trying to make a passenger car for a while now so this should help. -

The Brick Testament - Armageddon
Tom Bricks replied to Brendan Powell Smith's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
I think I learned more about the Bible on that website than all of my Sunday school and a year of Catholic school combined. -
I like the second version of the map better but I thought that Hagrid's hut was supposed to be near the quiddich pich.

I'm working on a microscale version of the edge right now! I think that I will use it as the background of a larger ship but does anyone have any ideas for the characters? there are so many and I can't find anything that works well.

I'd say some were between 3 and 4 but closer to 3. Like a 3.3? I haven't read Series of Unfortunate events in so long though so I'm not sure.

I love this series and have read books 1-9. I was just thinking the other day how nice a ship would be. I didn't think that many other people read these books though. This would be such a better liscence than Ben- 10. This truly has everything TLC could ask for, vehicles, locations, characters. I think I know what I'm building today.

Romans or Greeks/Spartans
Tom Bricks replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Is it too much to ask for both? I would love either but a mix of the two would be the best.TLC doesn't really care about historical accuracy most of the time so I would be content with an Ancient Civilizations theme with Greeks, Romans, and even a bit of Egypt. -
Yes!! I have always wanted something like this as Harry Potter are my favorite books ever. I hope this means more sets but I doubt it. The graphics don't bother me because if it looked real then t wouldn't be Lego.

Tom Bricks replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Town
Congratulations to the winers and thanks to everyone who voted for me(even though I didn't win ) Great Contest! -
Nice job. The only thing is that the tom of the water fall should have slopes on it but I don't know if they make them in that color.

I always thought the head you used in the second one looked insane.

Review: Indiana Jones the Original Adventures
Tom Bricks replied to Tom Bricks's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I couldn't tell, it was the right color but I can't remember now. It's possible, they used some star wars elements(like the C3PO head) -
I can't vote in this because I only use lego parts. The pirate hooks is a really good idea for bayonets.

To start off I will be reviewing this game from two angles. First the game play and it's value as a stand alone game, and Second the use of lego in the game. None of these pictures are mine because I don't know how to get them from a TV to a computer. Lego Indiana Jones for the Wii: The link to the game trailer: Name: Lego Indiana Jones the Original Adventures Release: 2008? Price:$20.00 but it came free when you bought an Xbox 360 Genre: Action/ Puzzle Part 1, The Game Review: To begin with this is not only my first lego review but also my fist game review so I'm not sure how this will turn out. The game is a puzzle solving adventure perfect for children and adults. It is better as a two person game but it is alright in single player mode. The goal is to complete the levels while collecting as many coins as possible and collect all the treasure chests along the way.You begin at Barnett collage as Indy and Sapito (the guy from the first scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark) and from there you chose which of the 3 original movies to enter and begin in story mode. I played in order but its nice to start with your favorite movie. While staying true to the original movies and the lego sets this is a great game for anyone (my non-AFOL brother in law likes it) The characters: Another plus for this game is that each character in a level is important and this keeps all players involved. Indy is in every level but his various sidekicks (Short Round ) each have their individual uses. You can also play in free play mode with characters you have unlocked or some that you can create using all the lego torsos in the game. The only negative part is that the Lego people move like real people instead of Minifigures but I quickly got used to this. The game also includes characters not yet in any sets like the grail knight and some of the Germans. The graphics: I can only comment on the wii version but as far as I am concerned they look fine. Legos don't look real any way so the graphics are fine. The incorperation of Lego elements into more realistic backgrounds is nice however. The gameplay: It is very fun to solve the puzzles and fight the various characters along the way but it can be challenging at some points. There where some hard parts and one minor glich in the gameplay but overall it was fun. Once again I recommend that this be played with two people but I play fine by myself. Additional comments: The jokes in it are sometimes corny but funny and lego related. The biggest negative of this set is that there is now way to save in the middle of a level, in order to save the level must be completed. This game made me by the Race for the Stolen Treasure set so I guess Lego suceded. Part 2, The Review of the Lego Construction in the Game: Looking at this game strictly from an AFOL's point of view it has actually inspired me. The game, to my surprise used a wide variety of parts, including some no longer in production.I also think it may have used some parts in colors that don't exist, like flex tubes in brown and plant pieces in various colors. This game even included a new mold, a Camel!! hopefully a sign of things to come. Because the game was made before the set designs where final the game includes earlier versions of some characters and sets like the flying wing, which was in my opinion better. The game also used various techniques like SNOT and an interesting rope bridge design. Overall: The question on most of your minds is probably would I rather have this game or a $20.00 lego set? For me it was between this and the City Horse trailer set and I bought this. I was pleased and spent hours more on this game than I would have spent building that set. I would recommend this set for everyone including people not into Lego. What do you think of the game? Also any pointers are welcome as this is my first review! Edit: Yay I'm a Citizen!!

This set is my favorite of the entire agents line. The first wave was ok but this second one is amazing. I can't wait until my order from Lego comes.

REVIEW: 5988 Pharaoh's Forbidden Ruins
Tom Bricks replied to Alldarker's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
My favorite part of this set is the hot air balloon I think it fits well with just about anything. Only $27, I saw this but didn't bid on it because I thought it would go for much more. There are some deals to be had on Ebay if you look hard enough. -
I'm surprised how well the flick fire missile fits in this set, this is the first I won't mod out. This also has the best model aside from the fig of all the impulse sets, I'm going to be picking up this one too.

My personal favorite Lego game and there making annother one! Don't know if I'll get this one though, I didn't like the 4th movie

Vintage Minifig V3 contains a BLUECOAT!
Tom Bricks replied to Commodore Hornbricker's topic in LEGO Pirates
Loving the bluecoat. Maybe the next one will have the Armada Captain in it. It fits the time period of the others.
