  1. Looks like I was half right on the CONTROL+ front. The yellow hub isn't relevant to Technic but the motor is, according to the slides.
  2. Tch. That deludenoid is selling his 8860 Evolution "book" for $55.45. Amazingly, only zero were ever purchased...
  3. I was joking. I answered as if the OP wanted to build a real-world ski resort with Technic.
  4. Well, if you're building a ski resort, Lego Technic probably isn't the best material to use...
  5. Will sets get even bigger? Will we be seeing sets with ten thousand parts at some point in the near future? On that note, I know CLAAS and BMW haven't become recurring licenses, but I'm hoping that we'll get more Liebherr-branded stuff if this set takes off. Here's to a Liebherr T41-7!
  6. Don't forget Manitou! It should be noted, though, that Manitou telehandlers had been using silver hubs since 2003, so 8283's appearance wasn't overly infringing by 2006.
  7. Odd that this worm part has fallen out of use for this year so far. You'd think TLG would jump on every chance they had to use it.
  8. This thing isn't gonna be available for another five months at least, so you ain't buying it any time soon.
  9. Brilliant stuff, Ivan! Very interesting use of pneumatics.
  10. Vonado appears to have gone down. Mission accomplished.
  11. Same here. I'm still waiting for pics though.
  12. What horribly inefficient farms have you been to, exactly? "Massive loader, oh, money no object on that front but when it comes to collecting the harvest, forget it"? @ozacek, with respect to your point, on the subject of a "farming style" L30F, something like a folding silage fork might be more practical. But, when all is said and done, it's your time and your parts, and it's up to you how you use both. Just because it doesn't make sense to me doesn't mean it won't make sense to you.
  13. With a 540hp wheel loader doing the threshing? Think about that for a while... Whatever floats your boat, mate. It's a good header design. Why not build an actual harvester for it?
  14. There's no collection system for the grain. If this were a mower it'd make a lick more sense, but I'm with @M_longer on this one. Can't win them all, @ozacek.
  15. Judging by the XL motors and battery boxes seen in the pics, this is knockoff shite as well.
  16. What, orange fans not good enough for you, Grum? Seriously though, this puppy is gargantuan! Not to mention it must weigh an absolute ton with all the motors ganged inside.
  17. It might yet do. Or maybe it's due to the setup in 42100 that the problems have arisen. 42099's system is likely simpler. For instance, getting a car or off-roader to drive about is pretty elementary compared to getting an R9800 to work.
  18. Mate, you're obsessed! Anyway, 42097 is going to have the new XL LAs! Party down to this new info courtesy of our very own @Ngoc Nguyen!
  19. I heard it was due to problems with CONTROL+ itself.
  20. According to scut I heard at the Cobblers Brick Show, it's due to TLG having trouble with the CONTROL+ software.
  21. Are the Arocs gear racks on the Spider Crane actually yellow?
