As am i! Sounds good! I think the arial defense unit sounds the best though! I',m hoping for a large cargo type plane or attacker bomer/fighter of some sort. or even multipe aircraft! Can't wait to see some pics!

Your absolutely right. So if you were in TLC's shoes, what would you do? Just sit back and hope people buy your product, or thrive to be better than the competion and maintain the quality that your known for as wellas realse new and interesting parts/sets/themes etc. my guess is the latter of the two. Your always going to have someone that won't care regardless of price, or quality. If the see somthing they like, the'll get it. wether or not its made by the leading brand or the clone brand. Sorry dude, but its called Buisness. There's no such thing as "common decency" in buisness. Espeacally from your competion. Companies like lego constantly need to be on the top of thier game to stay competive in this day and age. And anyways, like somone has already pointed out, LEGO didn't even invent the brick. So i guess it wasn't to decent of them now was it? While i see were your going with this, i don't believe that is always going to be the case. You don't have to lay off people or under pay them todecrease prices. Nor does quality have to suffer as well. this might make TLC take a strong hard look into there finaces though. Cutting these that don't sell well, investing in better equipment, better marketing etc. personally,i don't really feel that the quality is anything to complain about. Most complaints i read on here are preety silly for a childerns toy anyways. I do feel that this could seriously open the posibilities of seeing new themes that most would never have thought Lego would do (IE-militay type). This will also make TLC think alittle harder before they build licensed themes. maybe think of the longrun insteadof the new hip movie thats going to come out.

ya,i read into that too. But i don't think it will be John and Cameron, but John and the human girl that Cameron is based on. I think that in the future he will start to devlop feeling for her/it and then somthing will happen to Cameron. Either she gets destroyed, he has to put her of line. He then later meets the real Cameron and starts a relationship with her. Maybe even getting married. All this is just speculation though. we'll see!

Agreed. The clone brands,while having a few decent sets and licenses (Mclaren Mercadeses for example),there quality just doesn't hol par to that of Lego bricks. Its because of this, that i feel Lego will always be top dog when it comes to construction toys. A petition won't do anything. If lego lost the rights, then they lost the rights. Like others have said, this should be good for the consumer. More competion means lowewr prices, and more themes. Even these that Lego might not have considered doing. As far as quality, i don't think this will bring the quality down,since that is IMO, the thing that really seperates LEGO from the clone brands.

Alonso finished 5th in the points behind kubica. He was 6th going in, but just edged out either nick Hietfield, or Hienki. Next year should be very exciting. New cars, all sort of new rules permant stewarts (hopfully ). Sad that this season is over though.

If thats your frame of mind, then Alonso didn't win Valincia.. He got lucky right? Winnings winning. You really need to understand that at some point luck does come inot play. Also, concidering that Massa was pretty much handed 5 points this year, (3 by the FIA) then Hamilton would have been the champion by long ago. Have to admit, that was pretty sad, but that goes to show you that its not over till its over. They should have waited to celabrate till Hamilton crossed the line. i too heard about all the crap the Brazilian news was saying. Unbelievable. I can understand chearing for your country men,but booing like everone did was rediculous.

Great theme! Vehicles, characters,all top notch! The mobile command center is one of TLC's best sets ever IMO. Somuch detail for such a little price!I look forward to futrue agents sets!

Ya,i would hate to see somone either get taken out the first corner, or breaking down and that deciding the championship. Right now Hamiltion is 9th in practice sesion and hienkki is 15th i beilieve?? Keepin mind this is practice, so who knows what Mclaren has planned. (hopfully they have somthing planned! ) Also keep inmind that techincly Hamiltion can still use his joker engine change. (though the rules on egine change on the last GP are a bit sketchy)

I can see how this might be in favor of the underdog teams, but sadly, they don't bring in the fans like Ferrari, McLaren, BMW, and even Renault. Take away even one of these big hitters, and you'd see a drastic change in the sport, not for the better.

Sorry to say, but if ferrari pulls out like they are threatening too, F1 as a sport will be dead. Manufactuers like Ferrari are key players in the sport. They just have to huge a following for them to leave and F1 not take a hit. I understand the point is to help feep cost down, but having your own engine is the main reason for competing in a sport like this. Manufactuers like ferrari use there race cars to test upcoming technology in there road cars. Standardized engines not only hurts the sport, but the manufacers as well.

Nope, thats cause the the Challenger and Camaro are better. Sorry, but there nothing like the sound and acceleration of a healthy American V-8 engine. Espeacaily a pushrod V-8 (Your hearing this ford????). I'd be happy with either one of these bad boys, but i think i'm more partial to the Challenger!

Wow. This is a great set! Ilike the use of the airplane hulls to make the wind mill shaft. Very clever! I like that were finding more and more uses for the large Airplane pieces every year!

Are you sure that there going to be getting more in? How are they going to re-stock if lego doesn't produce this set anymore? Is it possible that this is an old page that you've stumbled upon?

Nope. Only a couple of vollenteers actually got to help with the build. Why they were picked, i don't know. I think cause they vollenteered for all 3 days. To be honest, it was all kind of miss leading. Originally, we were told that vollenteers were needed to help the master builder Dan, build the 8 foot tall R2D2. So thats what i was expecting to do. When i got there, they gave me a yellow Lego Polo shirt to wear, name tag, and explained that what they attualy needed help with was couching the kids building the lego cubes to be used in the R2D2 build, re stock the tubs of cubes when they got low and break apart and seperate the cubes that either were built wrong, or weren't needed at the time (to make sure there were enough cubes to keep the kids building. So it was not what i was expecting at all. After talking with the other vollenteers, they were also under the same impression that they too were going to help with the attual build. Although it was a little boring at first (nothing like sorting bricks for 8 hours ), i actually had a great time! It was a very good feeling to be able to help the kids when they needed a hand, (a couple of the parents even wanted to take pics with me!),i also got to meet some great people! The other vollenteers were AFOL as well, so the hole time we were all taking Lego! What our favorite theme's were, our first sets, the 09 line up, i really had a good time. Master builder dan was also giving away free lego sets to kids though out the day. Not just impuse sets either, some bigones. At one point he gave away a republic gunship!

I was attually one of the vollenteers helping out the kids build the lego squares that the master builder Dan was using to asemble the 8 foot R2D2. I was only there Saturday as i already had plans for Sunday. It was alot of fun. Imeet some really great people, and even found out about a Sacramento based Lego Club! I was great to be able to help the kids build, and even some of them took pictures with me! The line to get in the store was huge! While vollenteering, one lady complained that it took her nearly 2 HOURS to get in!!!! The line at one point streched the intire lenth of the top level of the Mall. Luckly at the end of the day, the line had calmed donw, and i was able to go straight inside. My girlfrined was kind enough to purchase me the new technic tellahandler! For Vollenteering, we were given 30% off our purchase that day. I have a few pics witch i'll post once i get off work today.

Yes, sorry. I always seem to miss spell Heikki's, as well as Kimi's last name wrong. To be honest, i kinda agree with KimT. Heikki's performance as oflate hasn't really been up to McLaren's standards. I really hope he starts to show improvment. His teammate will have Ferrari, and now Renault gunning for him, and he as well as LH need podiem finishes to claim the consrtuctors championship. Com'on Heikki! Your team really needs you! I know you can do it!!! I have faith!!

The second season has been on for a month now.

Not the most exciting race, but not bad either! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time hoping something dumb wouldn't happen to Hamiltion (like a flat that Henki got). He drove like a champ, and hopfully he will repeat that in 2 weeks in Brazil. He only needs 4th to claim the championship,(Thats if Massa wins) so we'll see what happens. Go Lewis! Go Hinki! Go McLaren!!!!!
