  1. Happy birthday guys!
  2. Well, I'm a bit late, but I confirme that Mr and Mrs Jipay and me will be here on Friday late afternoon to Sunday and we will go to the same hotel than you. And I'm for the breakfast. Wow, my firts LEGO event!
  3. So it’s time for me to take a moment to comment this MOC… Just keep in mind that my opinion and comments are made in a “Hinckley scale”, which means that there are some critics based on a hight quality moc. The general look of the building looks fine. Maybe the front is a little too blocky, especially with those brown parts on the top of the front. The old brown mixed with the new one brings a very nice touch in showing the bricks. The escape platform looks really too big for me. Using this grilled piece add some texture of course, but the size seem disproportioned 7 stunds overhanging without any structures to support the weight seems unrealistic. The interior details are very nice. But I don’t like the colour of the car left. Why regular blue? And with yellow! For the workbench is not a matter, but for this left, no! It looks like a kind of space ship! All in all, it’s a very nice moc, especially with the brewery put aside.

    City '09?

Wow! The camper looks to be my favourite 09 city set! I really like the design and the scheme colour is very nice! The new hair piece for the womanfig seems to be good too! We just need to see the interior of this baby! The bus from the city corner looks amazing too! And it's 6 stund wise! It would be great to have it in a seperate set, so it will be cheaper to have more tha one without spending a lot of money in the whole set. For the big garage set, I'm a bit disapointed. It's not very bad, but not good too IMO. I don't know... Maybe it looks too opened, but it's an understandable choice from TLC (for the playability aspect). All in all, 09 is a really good year for the City line! And I hope that we will have some great exclusif city set...
  5. Dr. Brick for me. It's simple but nice! Poor Santa Claus, he needs some heavy arms to transport all those presents by rails!
  6. Even if I didn't win anything, it was a really funny moment: each day looking at the calendar and name! I want to congrate the organisators for this Advent Calendar!
  7. Wow! What a great truck! Lasse D, you have made a very good job with this truck! First, it's a very beautifull truck, very detailed, with some nice and small details everywhere. And second, the PF! It works like a real one! Each time I see a video with a LEGO animated with PF and NXT, it makes me dream! That add a lot of realism to the model and give it a statue of "piece of work" compared with the toy aspect. I don't have any PF or NXT sets, but each time I see videos like yours, each time it gives me to buy some of those fabulous parts! But the price makes me bringing back to reality! The robotic aspect, using motors and technic functions are not part of my skills. I need time to play again with my old technic sets and why not, one day, building such an exiting moc! This is the kind of moc which is very interesting to see in real, trying all the function, and studying it. Good job!
  8. I've got them all! Good job,I like this kind of game, especially when the differences are hard to find, like yours!
  9. Count me in. Thanks!
  10. I'm later than you! Happy B'day +1 day Mr. Hinckley!
  11. I know, I've got a very busy time for months now (always working on my flat...) In France, we don't have those roadsigns, but more the same kind with cows. And with the upcoming plastic cows, it will be funny to have a roadsign with them!
  12. And what about this set from 1999? I hope that TLC will do new set like this. We will have some road sign in one of the '09 city set (the small one with civilians). And I hope that TLCwill use the minifig silhouette for sign like the crossing sign, instead of human one. It will be funnyer and more realistic fora minifig civilisation !
  13. You've done a really great job with this cinema! I like the way you have made it bigger, and keeping the original design! The interior looks really great too!
  14. And it's very cute! The proportions are really good for such a small digger! Micro scale looks really interesting in the way of how to use the pieces the best... I will try one day...
  15. Thanks to count me in!
  16. Happy B Day!
  17. Count me! It will be my first EB event !
  18. Woah! All EB members are here! I'm in the area...
  19. Thanks! I've got others set from this period (80-90's) and from different themes, that are not reviewed, but I don't have the time to do that for the moment...
  20. Really nice moc Matija Grguric! I like how this house looks in LEGO, and more when it remember me my student time few years back : we have a work to do, to make a model of an house. I hesitated to make it in LEGO, but I didn't have my bricks with me. I didn't choose this house ( but one of Jean Prouvé), but some friends of mine chose it. And it was not the best creation of the class! Back on bricks. Your moc is very well done, the proportion of the house are well respeceted (which is important in the Le Corbusier's work!) I'm happy to see the house of a well known architect made in LEGO!
  21. What another great moc! I like the fact that your corner store can be +or- taller, with an additional floor! Personnaly, I prefer the smaller version, it looks better IMO. The inside is great too! And the pics with all your mocs is just beautiful! It has a real british feeling!

    4 stud cars

Great cars you have built Erao! I'm happy to see that you have made nice 4-stud cars, and beautiful ones! Great work! I especialy like the new Mini!
  23. I'm a bit late to answer... I really like this new CG set! The use of thosebrige pieces is really nice! The overal look of the platform rocks a lot! And like with the general line, I like the colour scheme! The only bad thing is the wildscreen of the helicpoter. I don' like it. This piesce is used in the same way as the firefighter helicopter, which I find not so good... Oh well, I will do with that minor negative point!
  24. Whaou! There are a lot of sets! And nice sets : MS, CC, GG, town plan, factory sets... I've never seen all those sets in shops! But it's normal to see them here if it's a LEGO shop! And there is this display box with your nice MOC! I think that it's a real satisfaction to see your moc here! You must be proud! And there is your fig on the balcony of your MS! The fact that your post office is shown opnened is a very good idea. And the way it's made doesn't "break" the design of your moc. When you look at it from a certain distance, we don't have the impression that it's opened. It's the way it appears on the pics... I can't see it by my onw eyes...
