  1. If I ran the Lego Group I would certainly consider re-booting old themes, some of which include: Western Indiana Jones Harry Potter I would consider to a CMF series based on Celebreties, Lego could make a fair amount of money from that.
  2. The more infomation we get, the more I look forward to this wave. As I said a while back I hope the ITT is based on OT. It's understandable why Lego would do a set like that for the Rebels, but it's still no excuse not to have an OT version. The "Custom Starfighter" appears to sound like a good set but one I may not consider buying. Assuming it's part of TCW line I can't think of any other minifigures other than Anakin and R2 that could be included. I tend not to buy CW sets as much as I used when the line was first introduced. Unless there are certain parts of minifigures that interest me I don't purchase it.
  3. Thanks for the list. Anakins custom Jedi Starfighter sounds an interesting set. The Hailfire droid set seems like a random choice (unless of course it's part of a small TCW wave).
  4. Interesting topic-: Music-Violin Cycling Reading Construction
  5. I would agree with Hawkman. Sets are always a good choice. With new themes and ranges coming in Lego are always designing new parts. Bricklink is of course the second option, very reliable to get the parts you need. As for Pick-a-Brick... Well, at least in my Lego store, I find it quite limiting in some areas. It dosen't always have the parts I'm after. Hence why buying sets is a good option.
  6. Same here. According to the list we were given the BP is stated under "Rebels". If it is OT, I'll buy a many of the sets I can.
  7. It's very sad to see peoples collections getting stolen. I personally, don't put padlocks on any security on my Lego collection, as well as being secure I feel it draws a lot of attention to the cupboard/room itself.
  8. Thanks for the info Hulk_Smash. I'm looking forward to these sets as much as everyone else. I'd hoped Lego would redesign the moulds for all the Dinosaurs.
  9. Legoman123: Same here, a set that I've always wanted as well. The problem is, it would take a lot of chrome bricks to construct. But the set would go well with the current TPM sets that are coming out. -epicster-: Agreed, I'd like the entire medical room redesigned, along with most of the minifigures as well. It's a shame TLG didn't release a set like that in the January wave as it would fit right in. As well as my hope for Cloud City, I'm still would like to see sone mor OT sets, the wave that TLG offered us was good, but there are still sets that need redesigning. SET NAME: Imperial Shuttle MINIFIGURES: Luke(Ewok Village), Darth Vader, Stormtroopers(x2), Imperial Pilot. PRICE: £/€/$ 50.00-60.00 FUNCTIONS: Opening cockpit, retractable landing gear, foldable wings.
  10. I think it depends when the UCS is being released in Stores. Some sets such as the Sandcrawler and X-Wing were announced in around Febuary/March. Where as Other sets such as Ewok Village were announced around June. As for the upcoming wave, there are a lot of interesting buys in there. Main ones for me are the AAT, T-16 Skyhopper and the Geonosis Troopers BP. I'm not that interseted in the Rebels wave but may consider getting some sets for parts.
  11. For me, the first model would have to be the Death Star. As well as being a popular set, everything about meets up to my expectations, the minifigures, the play features and the detail and accuracy. If I had too choose one other set, I would go with Palpatines arrest. It comes with a fantastic selection of figures and parts.
  12. Amazing TLG would price the AAT at such as small price of £25. It must be smaller than the other varients. It seems to be common now that a lot of new varients of models are smaller than their predessors. Both the ISD and the MTT were smaller versions of themeselves and didn't include as many play features than the other versions. Not that this is a bad thing.
  13. Agreed, The Stormtrooper BP is based on the Rebels theme. This seems a missed oppotunity as it would have been good to see a snowtrooper and stormtroper with the newly designed minifgures. On the note of OT, I'd like to see a UCS Cloud City with redesigns of most of the minifigures. Not only would this be a good playset and collectible like it's predessesors but with the new movies and Rebels show coming out soon I feel the numbers in OT and PT sets may drop. If you take a look at the upcoming wav of sets we're barely getting any OT sets. This drop may be due to the Microfighters line consisting of OT and PT veichles.
  14. No problem, thanks for clarifying that up.
  15. Thanks for the current info. The Troop Transport sounds like a good army builder for stormtroopers, although I wished it was based on OT. I find it odd that TLG would put Kashyyk troopers in a Geonosis BP. Then again these are preliminary pics so the finished product may not be the same.
  16. Same here, I've always been a fan of battlepacks and that is definately going on my "To Buy" list. As for your question, I'm certain TLG will keep the Leg printing on the Clones. It seems unlikely they would take it off, unless off course they wanted to change it in someway. But as always until we see more info on the set we can never be sure. On the note of battle packs, why are we never seeing opposing sides to the battle packs we're getting?
  17. I prefer picture reviews. I can read and look at the pics at my own pace - not the persons. I also feel video reviews drone on for too long an end up being 30 minutes long.
  18. I doubt it would it be clone wars seeing as the line has appeared to have ended. Nevertheless I'm looking forward to this set as well as the Skyhopper.
  19. OCD - Obsessive compulsive disorder. Or something similar to that. I tend to build sets once I purchase them, occasionally I MOD sets, particuarly ones in which spaces have been left blank for no reason.
  20. I prefer simpler minifigures. A lot of minifigures in this wave are overdetailed. It's important that TLG capture the look of the character in the minifigure as well as keeping the overall design simple.
  21. Apologies, I did mean the Droid Gunship in my post. Only I got confused between the two names - Thanks for pointing that out.
  22. Thanks for the comparison pictures. As said above I understand why some collectors may by one type of Trooper and not the other or vice versa. Personally, I'll probably collect both but will separate them when it comes to MOC's and displaying them.
  23. I didn't mention this in my earlier post, but I'd be very interested to see whether the sequel will follow the same idea.
  24. I'm hoping for a 3 in 1 set based on the RotS wave earlier this year. The Kassheek trooper battle pack, the Vulture Droid and the AT-AP would make a fantastic set.
  25. Great topic. I'd say the tyre piece, the stud, the 2 by 4 piece as mentioned above or maybe even a window piece. The Grand Emporium has a lot of window pieces plus all the other modulars and city sets do as well.
