Well, I extremley hope it's OT... I noticed The Custom Starfighter was priced at 50.00. This could mean a Jek-14 sized starfighter.
-
Two things I forgot to mention. Is it me or does the AAT look rather small. Not that this is a bad thing just curious. Secondly, the senate commandos set is pictured there does that mean it's going to be sold or is it cancelled?

Thanks for the link, From what I can make out it's great to finally see more of the Custom Starfighter - looking forward to see more on that set. The battle packs look great and I'm certainly getting some of those. These are preliminary so we can excpect changes. But from what I can see so far - Great wave TLG

I wouldn't say that. I admit, my post on the other topic about the advent calender was over the top and over critical. However, some SW fans care about accuracy, while others like minifigures while others like playability features. The point is, everyone will always have different opinions on sets. And that's the point of all these rumour and disscusion threads. As pointed out above if everyone just said "Yeah, I Like that" or something similar the discussian would be over.

Some good ideas, It would certainly be great to see some non-CW figures. If anything, I'd like to see a Mustafar set. The last one was in 2005. And yes, we saw one in 2012 but that was simply two platforms, and not substancial enough as a full Mustafar set. It could come with..... Minifigures: Anakin and Obi-Wan. Battle droid and Nute Gunray and Wat Tambor and mouse droid. Features: Lava control room with hologram tables and weapon rack. Beam which can be connected via technic pieces and disconnected in the same way. And finally the two platforms that we see towards the end of the duel. Price: If Lego were to make a set similar to my idea I'd hope they would price it around the £/$/€ 50.00 mark.

The only other possible theory is it's a Juniors set. It was a possibility tht was considered earlier in the topic, but then dismissed. Still, always a possiblity.
-
I miss it a lot It was such a brilliant line that brought us some wonderful pieces and minifigures.
-
It's a good and logical theory, but at the end of the day it's still an assumption. It's best we simply wait until the show.

Well the most we know is a "Death Star" sized set is coming out in January. I got the impression that cavegod wasn't 100% sure with the information he gave. Not to say I don't believe him, because I do. It does seem odd that Lego would only release one UCS set this year.

What's Your Favourite and Least Favourite Star Wars Movie?
Tariq j replied to Sir Brickalot's topic in Culture & Multimedia
My favourite is ROTJ. Definately the best storyline of the originals. Worst? Probably The Phantom Menace. I didn't have that many problems with it. But I felt, compared to the other movies this one lacked in certain areas. -
The Stormtroopers are different as they both use separate body art. I'm fairly certain the moulds are the same. The photos are taken at two different angles so it's hard to see exactly. But as fa as I can tell they look the same.
-
Well, whatever it is I'm looking forward to it. A new falcon was sited on TYC. So it pushes it's chances but.... The fact that the employee compared it to the Death Star and not any other UCS set indicates a possible playset.

What are the illegal connections that TLG can't put in?
-
I see your points. And, looking back at my post I did make unessecary criticisms My point about about Rieeken was in somewhat misunderstood. I had no intention of selling him in or any of my minifigures in anyway. It just feels great to have a rare minifigure, that's all. My point about generic minifigures was also a little unecassary. I suppose it is good to get generic minifgures to add to my collection, whether I have them or not. Hope that cleared things up

There are a lot of good suggestions above all of which I agree with. I generally put mine in storage boxes. And in some cases, put them back in the original Lego boxes.

Sir Brickalot: I like your endor ideas they would certainly go well with the Ewok Village. North Lego Star: I too would like Cloud City. The more I think about it the more likely a Cloud City seems. It may just be me, but I feel Lego are slowly dropping off little hints that a Cloud City will come out. Firstly, Lego didn't include Lando and Leia in Slave I despite the fact that they were in that scene. This indiactes Lego are saving their minifigures for a bigger apperance. Secondly, Anyone who owns The Dark Side book may have noticed a reactor balcony structure different to the one in the original cloud city. Hopefully TLG will release one. Possible as a playset.

Speaking of the Advent Calender, is anyone slighty dissapointed in the minifigure range? The three Christmas themed figures a great But I feel that the others weren't exactly the best choices in my opinion. The snowtrooper pilot, Snowtrooper, Tie fighter pilot and Super Battle Droid are all very generic and it would have been great to see some named figures such as Wedge. General Rieekan is a shame as it no longer makes the 2013 varients rare anymore. Luke has too many lines and wrinkles on his face and to anyone who has already got him, is a slight dissapointment. I think what made the 2013 Calender so ghost was the fact it gave us Boba Fett. A non-generic figure, one that nobody has and does not take the "rareness" away from another set.
-
It's a good point you've brought up. The original list never stated as a BP. And it's possible that it is a larger set. But on the other hand it does contain four Stormtroopers. And the most obvious thought that springs to mind is a BP.
-
I think the main problem that most people have is with the minifigures. The new Stormtrooper mould looked slightly bad on the figure.
-
TWP: As far as I can tell the info you've gathered seems correct to me So just to confirm, the T-16 is NOT a UCS set?
-
Same thoughts with me as well. There is a slight possible chance we could get a set like that as a Boga has been shown on TYC. But having said that alot of new looking minifigures have been sited on the yoda chronicles and not been released. I sometimes wonder what exactly TLG were thinking when they designed that set.
-
I am too slightly dissapointed in the ITT. I have always prefered the old style of Battle Packs. With the four generic minifigures in one set.

Lego is now the World's biggest toy maker.
Tariq j replied to jacob_uno's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Brilliant news. Lego rules the toy industry! -
I agree with all the above, assuming there is no interior then £200.00 (if that's the price in England). Seems a reasonable price.
