  1. My wife and I showed up at 6:45am to the store and were 5th in line! Got the minifigs they were giving out as well, but I noticed something odd with mine. Can you spot what's wrong with it?

  3. Well I will be at Fairview Mall bright and early Saturday morning with the wife. Hopefully will get to meet some fellow Eurobrickers there as well!
  4. I missed the Grand Opening at Sherway this summer, and as of now my schedule looks good to make the Grand Opening at Fairview. My question is what time should I be at the mall in order to be one of the first 300? I assume the mall will be open early to allow a line up to form. I would also be interested in meeting with some fellow users from here as well. Let the planning begin!
  5. I am subscribed to the Lasting Toys monthly newsletter and this caught my eye: I haven't bought anything from BrickForge, but some of their items appeal to me. It will be interesting to see what accessories they will get. What do you think?

  9. Got into a discussion at work about my collection, and after some haggling on the price and if he would get rid of them, I came home with these. Both had boxes and manuals. 99% complete too! That's what you call a great Lego find!

  11. Check THIS out! Interesting new "Friends" line. Also the new construction flatbed and SUV with dirt bikes is kinda cool! Loving the Police/safari set as well. Enjoy!
  12. The box was $196.80 before tax. Individually they rang up at $3.28.
  13. Mississauga WalMart at Mavis & Britannia had Series 5 in stock. There was one open box and 3 unopened. I bought one of the unopened boxes. They should be a most WM's this week....good luck!

  16. Won some older sets on eBay the other day. These will be the oldest of my collection: 605 - Taxi from 1971 609 Airplane from 1972 650 - Car with Trailer and Race Car from 1972 Cant wait to get them in the mail!
  17. Not sure - haven't opened it yet. It does look like it to me, and I have seen other pictures on the net with those figues off the magnets (eBay for example), so I would assume they would.....
  18. 100 flippin' dollars!!!!! That's it!!? Can't wait to get my hands on this - I assume it will be near the holiday season. Will have to build my Beetle again and put them both on display!
  19. Went to Sherway Gardens today and picked up 852948 Female Minifigure Magnet set for $3.48!. Thought it was a steal of a price. Happy Hunting!

  21. Word has it they have hit the US. A poster on Brickset said he found Series 5 in New Jersey Thursday. Thread can be found here.

  24. I bought the Beetle last Christmas - great set. Looking forward to what color the van will be. Maybe a light green?!
  25. Great review! I picked up this set on the weekend and it is the perfect little gem to add to a cityscape. Can't think of much use for the 2 bow pieces - but nice to see some new parts. This is also $6.99 CDN.
