    There is a 50% off coupon for Zellers from their Facebook page that can be redeemed on any regular price or sale item. It expires on Dec. 31. I don't see any Lego deals in the flyer, but the coupon is too good to pass up. I might head there tomorrow and see what I can find. Happy hunting.

    Hope everyone had a great Christmas! My Lego haul consisted of these (so far): And for my wife I must say the Camper was one of the best builds I've had in a long time and I think it has climbed right to the top of my favorite list. Also my Christmas will continue in January when I get my hands on some Series 6 figs! Have a good New Year everyone!

    Just got back from the Lego Store in Sherway Gardens. There was quite a few people in line to get in when it opened at 10. Managed to score the 10199 for $59! (Down from $79!) Also picked up the new camper set, the new Patrol car, and 40023 to get me over the $99 for Christmas Set #2. There were some other good deals there also - the Emerald Night was 25% off to $97. Also received 10% off at the cash on my whole purchase. No one had gotten the 50% off yet. Happy shopping!

    I plan on being at the Sherway store on the 25th after I drop the wife off at work. I'm really just interested in getting the 2nd Christmas set. So to meet the $99 quota, I'm thinking one of the Winter Village sets is in order (since I have 0 of 3 ). Although if they have some of the newer 2012 town sets, I could be persuaded......

    I doubt any of us Canadians would get an invitation. It's centered around the Thanksgiving holiday in the US. Plus we already know it will be called "Brick Friday" here and the free Lego gift is probably Christmas set #2. I'm not getting my hopes up - it's an American thing unfortunately.

    I didn't ask and they didn't say. I assume they will be handing them out as long as they have them and you are spending $99 or more. (since they are still giving out #1).

    I mentioned this here, and figured I'd post in here too: I called the Lego store at Sherway Gardens and asked them about Christmas set #2 (3300002). It starts on the 25th (Black Friday in the US, Brick Friday in Canada). Same conditions as the first set - Spend $99 or more and receive set #2. One per customer per purchase while supplies last. I'll be there bright and early on the 25th

    Great review! I got an email from Lego today and it stated that the free model #1 with purchase has been extended. Also, I have read that Model #2 is only available come "Brick Friday" for 3 days near the end of November. Hopefully it will be longer than 3 days or there just might be a mad dash for this one.....

    Thanks! Funny thing is that I built the truck almost 2 years ago, and it`s been waiting for a trailer ever since You can see more pics of the truck alone in my flickr account. Thanks Ben. I just used those legs to take the picture. I haven`t found a good way to fold a set of legs up and keep them attached - there is hardly any more room on the underside of it. Where are you from in Canada? Being an LDD rookie, how exactly do I do that? Let me know and I will pass it along!

    V-LC-03A Growing up on a farm, I saw these quite regularly - and with harvest season in full swing, I decided to give this build a try. I downloaded and used LDD for the first time today, and this was my end result. Enjoy! Here is a few pics from the bottom, showing the doors closed and opened:

    This is a really neat set. I picked one up last night but haven't built it yet. I think I will wait until I get the second one. Plus that new 1x1 round tile is awesome - the thought of that piece has been in my mind for quite sometime and it's nice to see they've added it.

    They didn't give me one when I was there on Saturday either - so I called and went back. Showed them my receipt and they gave me one. Maybe call to see if they have any extra and tell them you were there on Saturday. And I am Still waiting for my postcard
