So I'm thinking about buying a pistol, but I don't know what type I should get: Electric, Gas, or Spring? I want one that shoots a good distance, but semi-automatic. (Meaning you don't have to cock it every time you want to fire.) I'll worry about the actual pistol later, as for right now I just want to know the best type. Thanks. -Spyder

Great review. Almost picked this set up today at my local TRU, kinda glad I didn't.
-
Ha! So putting that in my signature!
-
Very nice, especially after just returning. (I assume you use to MOC 12 years ago) You just can't go wrong with that color scheme for any Star Wars ship, and those engines look super powerful! All the little details on them are great. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more of your creations.

While they seem similar in some ways, I think they're actually quite different. Building style, color scheme to name a couple of different things. If the two were to face off against each other, I'd put my bet on 7946. Anyways, they wouldn't relly look that good next to or connected with each other, you'd need alot of MODing. (just my opinion)

MOC: Desert Racer
Spyder replied to daftendirekt's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Very sleek. I like the color scheme of silver and orange, that's one I'll have to try. As for if it's Technic or not, I think it's pretty Technical, as I would never be able to do that. So I commend you on your mastery of shapes in the world of Technic. -
1 point- Oky Wan 1-point- Pedro 1 point- Inconspicuous And I thought voting in the other categories was hard... There were sooo many nice entries, but jamtf really helped me make my decision, as these should be market stalls, not a whole street of them.

Wow, great entries everyone, but these two really stood out: 2 points- MrTools 1 point- pedro

I took some time to decide, as all of you really put alot of hard work into this. So great job all of you! However, these ones really jumped out at me: 2 points- Skalldyr 1 point- brickzone

How long do you wait until you open your lego?
Spyder replied to Ratshot's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Last year, when I was in Disney, I bought Count Dooku's ship, and had to wait a week 'till I got home to open it. I tell ya, it was hell! Now you people who somehow don't open your sets the minute you get home, no offense, but... ... Your a bunch of freakin crazy people! I just don't know how you do it. -
We Are All Just Prisoners Here Of Our Own Device

Great plot, I can't wait for the next comic. (There will be another one, right?) By the way, you spelled "severe" wrong. Just something that caught my eye. -
Although not big, it's extremely sleek, and swooshable. (especially in the nude ) Yes, it's the VX-Falcon from 5973.

Silly. They're in a canyon with a snake, how is that hard to believe? If you want two or more snakes, then it would have to be named Snakes Canyon, and they would have to jack the price up $10.

Hmmm, 3 posts, 2 topics about the same thing, both about a question that's already been answered. I wonder how that makes the mods feel.

*Jaw drops to the ground* Holy crap, I'm gonna buy the whole set just for the baddies, and that FRICKIN' AWESOME axe head! Thanks for not doing a really in-depth review, I didn't need one. I know now from just those few pics that this set is a must-buy.

Absolutely amazing work yet again Ralph. I love all the little details, you must have put alot of time into this one. Ooooohhhh! just look at that rudder, it's B-A-U-tiful!!!

Prince of Persia Theme Month Game: Conclusion
Spyder replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
My vig for the murder of Walter Kovacs. (Spyderentio and def stabbing Walter Kovacs, if you couldn't already tell. ) Story: Walter was found resting by the river laying on an old sacrificial bed. Spyderentio called def over, and they took the opportunity to take out a civilian. -
Nice review, I've been waiting for these World Racer sets to hit store shelves. I like the new minifigs, and each team's color scheme. (Lime/White and Red/Black)

SO pissed right now, I just called my local Toys R US. Apparently, they received a box yesterday, and were gone by the end of the day. Maybe one of you guys bought the box.

Welcome! I can see that you've already created some wonderful Modular buildings, great work. And I can also see that you have no problem working the sites features, being a software designer and all. But if you ever get stuck along the way, here's the Tutorials Index. I'm sure you'll find the City and Sci-Fi Forums just fine. Glad to have a new member here, enjoy the site. I've found that once you join, it's almost impossible to leave, as it's such a great site, and who would ever turn their back on Lego. *Gasp*

Ingenious, the way you mounted the gun, and the use of those handle bars. Question: What piece did you use for the reigns around the camel's mouth? And one last thing. If this is a quickly thrown together MOC, I would love to see one you've put lot's of time into.
-
I believe the Deathstar would be the set with the most minifigures. Chess "sets" aren't really a set, as in a vehicle or building, and neither are those City minifig packs.

Don't want your Legos anymore? I'll take em
Spyder replied to 3m@ch's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Even if Goodwill does give us a tax writeoff, I doubt anyone here would give away Lego. I mean, c'mon, a Lego forum has to be the worst place to ask for free Lego! Can't you tell we're all crazy about it? -
Although I don't have a child of my own, I can definitely relate to being a slave of that talking Brick. I don't actually see him like you do. I just hear him.

Spyder replied to GRogall's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Yes! Beautiful! I can't wait for that Spartan! Or that wonderful Karate master! Or the mime! (Joker's henchmen ) Or the Pharaoh! Or... wait, I think I'll just buy a whole box.
