Happy Birthday L-Space! May today be plentiful in Lego!

I bought the same two sets, but both torsos were dark green. Maybe the dark green ink is running low at the Lego factory? I actually like that Lego chose to use dark green instead of regular green, it just shows that much more detail that Lego put into the Pirate minifigures. EDIT: I bought both of my sets right after Christmas, and they were dark green. You bought Kracken Attackin' a while ago, and he was dark green. However, you bought Cannon Battle just yesterday, so maybe it's a new problem that has just come up at the factory, or Lego might have changed the colors for who-knows-what reason.

Actually, The pinned topics are greatly ignored, because they are just right there at the top, and you scroll down to all the topics and completely miss them. (That's what Hinckley said. Or some other staff-member said it.) True, he could have done a search, but he was probably excited about the website that he logged in to Eurobricks and posted this topic before looking at the pinned topics.

I have never played the game, although I read through the rules a whole bunch of times. I'm afraid that I just don't have a good size army that would actually stand up to anything. BTW: A BrikWars topic can be found here. However, I would love to see a renewed interest in BrikWars here on Eurobricks, because it really is a great game.

Go with the RBR. You may only get one exclusive fig, but for all the pieces, it's worth it. However, if you only collect minifigs, then go with the Home One, because that has just amazing figures going for it.

I know, they are both the same heads. How does it's wording make it seem exclusive to Ackbar? Maybe it's just the lighting. I'm not really sure, though, seeing as I don't own the set. Such a ridiculous price, and yet I will still buy it for the figs. When I get it, I'll let you know if it's different.

The lighting is simply beautiful, I can see how he won the "World of Lights" award. The Ark of the COvenant is great, and I just love that library. What is Indy's bag of sand from the first pic made of?

I'm pretty when it says it is modified, it means it is not a regular minifig head.

Congrats guys, you all did a really amazing job, and I mean amazing. Some of those entries were truly spectacular, you people definitely have some talent. Well, he did do a great job, and now he has $80 to spend on making his figs even better for the next contest. Mind sharing?

I will be gone camping the tomorrow through the 8th, and in Florida the 12th-22nd. My summer is just packed full. Luckily, I'm making a stop at the Lego store in Florida, and planning to go on a huge shopping spree.

I also found a Mutt torso on my school bus and guess what? I brought it home and washed it, and added it to my collection.

I doubt 2x4's will ever be discontinued, but basic bricks are starting to get rarer in sets. Exactly, and that's the beauty of it. It's supposed to be simple, and your supposed to use your imagination. You boring Yahoo news reporters don't have an imagination, so you don't know the magic of Lego. If Lego was really as boring as how you described it, then it wouldn't have made it through 50 years.
