  1. I doubt it. Lego would make a new torso for them like they did with the red coats, and the bluecoat has the old torso in the vintage minifigure collection. Besides, I think just the redcoats and pirates is selling well for the kids. Add in bluecoats and it would probably confuse them of who's the bad guy and good guy and all that. I think this is just Lego's way of saying, you got Lego pirates back and now you want blucoats too. (Which is a reasonable request) So they stuck a bluecoat in the 3rd VMC for all of those who missed out on the original pirates and wants a bluecoat. It's for the adults, besides, how many children do you know who point a VMC out in the magazine and put it on their wishlist. Lego even put the VMC on the order page in last year's Christmas catalog, which every child skips over. OK, so after all of that ranting, I'm not saying that I do not want bluecoats, in fact I would love to own an entire army of new, redesigned ones. I'm just saying that they won't come out this year. Hopefully next year though. Hope that all made sense. By the way, VMC stands for Vintage Minifigure collection, in case you were wondering.
  2. Already been posted.
  3. I don't think so all though it would be cool. I think it was just named that to show that it was in the future.
  4. Sorry, I just tried and it's horrendously blurry.
  5. It was jansued, his review is right here. Plus, there was still some space left in that fourth of the box. And like I said, it's a $25 dollar set, with only 155 pieces. And I'm still gonna buy it. *sigh* Another thing I'd like to see is what Captain Green Hair said, the color change. I don't have too many sets from before 2004, but enough so that it annoys me badly.
  6. I'd change every price down to a dollar. No, but seriously, the prices are jacked up, and need to be brought down, especially on this years new Star Wars sets.
  7. You know this, I know this, but I'm not sure that TLG knows this. Let's just hope that it continues this way. George Lucas has the opportunity to add to the Star Wars univers, but kids would not like it as much, like the old republic. Think about it. He's stretched out the Clone Wars about as far as it's gonna go. He's not going to make any new movies, only that live action tv series next year. With nothing new in the Star Wars Universe, people will lose interest. I can see why Lego might want to end the license, but as we all know, George Lucas will probably come up with some other non-canon storyline and keep Star Wars from dying. Which is a good thing, because that hopefully means new Lego sets! Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Lego and Star Wars fan, I'm just thinking of reasons why they would end the license. I actually didn't know that Hasbro alone had the license to selling Star Wars action figure by themselves. That's just plain annoying. For individual minifigs, Bricklink is your best option. It has pretty much every minifig for sale, and at low prices.
  8. I have not read all the books yet, but I'm on the fourth right now. You are definitely right, there is a certain charm to the books that makes them so exciting. So far, The Prisoner of Azkaban has been my favorite, but I can't wait till I finish the entire series. So, once I do so, I then will vote in the pole. I will agree, they aren't the best movies, (I've only seen the first and second) but I think fulfill there job. I eventually want to collect all of the Harry Potter Lego sets, but it will be costly. I have heard that hey are splitting the last movie into two parts, I think the first will be released in 2010, and the second part in 2012, or somewhere arond that time.
  9. Thanks for the review! Unfortunately, I can't get this big set without blowing the budget for all the other sets I'm buying this year. I would love to get it any day, I just love all of those rare colored pieces. I actually stumbled upon the Brickshelf folder for this and I started thinking, "Here comes another review!" Thanks again, you did a great job.
  10. Yes I have heard of him, I just recently became a fan of the show. Yes, the house does sound like a waste of bricks, but it sure would be cool!
  11. Mmmmm Chrooooome! Dwarf: "What a strange artifact, it must be at least 700 years old. I wonder what this button might do- Bzzzssss! Ahhh!" More pics in the gallery once moderated. EDIT: Oh, and just to let you know, there is absolutely no overhang.
  12. Hello, and welcome to Eurobricks. I see that Lego isn't on your list of favorite things. Can you tell us your favorite themes?
  13. Great work! Everyone of these ships amazes me. The ingenuity it takes to come up with all these ships is incredible. This one imparticular reminds me of the Covenant Spirit Dropship. How you capture the exact shape of the letter every time I'll never figure out. Great work yet again, and I can't wait until you make F and J.
  14. Good MOC. I doubt there is anyone on this forum that thinks that Hitler was the best thing to ever happen, so I don't think that anyone will be hurt if he is insulted. George Lucasd actually named the stormtroopers after the elite Nazi stormtrooper soldiers. EDIT: Fixed spelling.
  15. OK, so your MOCs are nice and all, but are those a dead Tusken Raiders!? You have spilled our brethren's blood! Honestly, why couldn't it have been another random zombie? Are you out to get us? So really, it is a great MOC, especially the guy on the bike shooting (the Tusken Raider ) and jumping the road at the same time. All that grass gives the bignette a nice texture. Except of course for those Tuskens, it kind of ruins the whole feeling. Great, now you've got me mad for the whole day, thanks alot!
  16. What? I thought there was absolutely no way that they would be renewing it.
  17. Personally, I would make it light bley, because that just seems to go better with the Republic colors. As for how I build my MOCs, I just start building. If I don't like how it's going, then I start over again. If I am building MOC based off something, then I just look up a pic of it online, and then think of the pieces I need to make it. If I don't have the pieces already, then I usually don't make it.
  18. Thank you sooo much for doing this review, It made me add the set to my wishlist! The citizens are spectacular, and Lego included three of them which is a surprise and unusual for Lego. I just love that new glass dome, and the overall robot shape is fantastic. It actually looks like a nice retro robot. I can't wait to add it to my collection, especially all of those printed parts. Great review, keep it up.
  19. Did you know that if you say gullible slowly, it sounds like ice cream? By the way: Do you guys seriously get paid? I thought it was a volunteer job. Or you could just be tricking me and I feel for it. And to think I used to trust you moderators! I think I'm gonna have to tell Jipay...
  20. Same thing has been happening to me, except with lightsaber hilts and the sort. I unfortunately don't have any chrome gold pieces from that long ago. By the way, these chrome pieces are about 10 years old. You can see how much they are flaking and the clearish plastic underneath.
  21. OK, thanks, it was really bugging me not knowing where the chain ends, as I like to be able to take apart a MOC in my mind just by looking at it. Just curious how it all works. And by the way, Even though you may not speak English very well, we can still understand you, so it's fine. As long as you are trying, that's all we ask. (And your English actually isn't that bad. ) edit: fixed spelling
  22. Holy crap! I just realized that! I was looking at his post count. And what do you mean it's demeaning that he has to carry around a troll all day? What's the difference between that and carrying a storm trooper all day on his back? Of course, that's the evil Empire, but this is also the Troll civiliation. They aren't exactly the most humane and polite creatures.
  23. First off, your picture are to big, but you are a newer member so it's OK. Look at these tutorials, they will teach you how to resize pictures. The Dewback surprisingly fits in with the Castle theme very well in this MOC, and here I was thinking that it could never be brought out of the Star Wars world, and still make it look cool. So I commend you for that, a good job you have done. I see that a chain is attached to the end of the catapault so that you can pull it and the catapault will launch, but I can't see where the chain ends.
  24. Remember, Clone Killer, I think it's after the hours of Sith Supremacy Time, so we can only kill NPCs. I think it's after hours. I'm not good with the whole translating my time into GCT time. But let's think up some awesome battles, where NPCs are slaughtered by the dozens! What, I can't have a little fun until tomorrow? EDIT: I have more storyline for my character! Killing even more NPC's! Spyder enters a room, and finds a Jedi! Acting with quick reflexs, Spyder chucks a grenade at the Jedi before he can react. The Jedi must all die. At least he had a swift death. Spyder walks up to the control panel and examines it. He then finds an inactive droid, and begins to hack the system. His hack is successful and he is now able to control the droid. This pops up on the screen: He moves the droid into the South West Corridor and finds the option he wants. The toxic gas release system. :skull: Now why would they put something like that in a helper droid, I have no idea, but it works. Jedi: I've got to make it to that control panel and uuuuhhhhh. Spyder realizes that if he can help the Sith out from this control station, then he could impress Revan, and earn a couple million credits! WooHoo! That's the end of the story for tonight. Can't wait until tomorrow, although I don't think I'll be able to be on the whole playing time.
  25. The Sith are invading the Jedi City, searching frantically for the Jedi holocrons. The Sith just keep coming, taking out every Jedi in their path. As Spyder runs through the corridors, he encounters more and more Jedi battling Sith.
