  1. Great Review Dunamis *y* It is a pity the functionality is a little limited :-( I will still put it on my birthday list :-D
  2. Thanks for the great review Lasse D *y* I am a big technic fan but this set is not on my want list the early pictures were a little disappointing and you have not said anything to change my mind. Technic sets should have a lot of functionality and when sets are designed to fit into a price bracket this is often lost. I would be interested to know what you think of the alternative model
  3. I can't wait for your review If this set is worth having it will go on my birthday list Review on!! *sweet*
  4. Great review Sinner I regret not buying this set when I saw it cheap in a local sale :-(
  5. The clutches are only for the shovel and claw on the front and back the tracks are driven directly from the XL motors and first impressions are good they seem quite powerful it will climb over a small cusion quite easily.
  6. The treads are dark grey I not too good with naming colours. The treads are the same as in the snowmobile set released earlier in the year they are a hard plastic.
  7. The clutches are for the shovel and claw on the front and back The engine is driven from only one of the drive motors. It works fine on our rugs but we have mainly wood floors. Not sure if is fairly strong I have only chased the cat at the moment :'-(
  8. I have been waiting for this set since the pictures for the toy fairs eirlier in the year and I am glad to say I am not disapointed. First the price it is not cheap at
  9. There are a total of 84 of the new track links in the set.

  16. I'm, pleased you had a good time I am planning to take my 2 kids next week end it will be our third visit. :-D I agree it is heavy on the wallet but well worth it I'm glad to here they have some of the new sets in the shop :-D A question for Birdie100 do you work at the park if so which bit
  17. The problem I have with MOCpages is I found it slow and difficult to navigate especially compared to Brickshelf where you could browse many pages relatively quickly. If MOC pages do manage to stop deeplinks then this will render it useless for creating reviews on sites like Eurobricks as a series of links to pages could make a review virtually unreadable. Surely the best part of brickshelf was its simplicity do we really need the ability to leave comments or rate pictures as that is what we do within Eurobricks. MOC pages would appear to be trying to create a community web site not just image hostingand we have a great community site here *y*
  18. I think my dark ages started when I was 15-16 when I was doing exams and going to college. While I was at university I concentrated on my other hobby building scale military models. Even though I was not buying Lego I did ocasionally look at the latest sets in the toy shops. Then I got married bought a house had kids and was completly broke for a long time. My dark ages came to an end when my wife bought me a RC Racer for my birthday one year and we bought some Lego for the Kids. I was 35 when they ended so to all you young members out they dont worry about dark ages Lego will be with you for as long as they sell it :-D
  19. Its really stange MAJ is working fine Its even excepting BS login details. The error message would sugest a serious problem :-(

  21. Great Review Dunamis I hope you have as much fun with this as I have. One point yes they are new axles they have appeared in a few sets this year.
  22. I've never been a fan of Star Wars Lego but if the price is right this could be My first Purchase. I wish I was going to the Star Wars event now :-(
