fantastic collection Its great to dig out those old instructions and build those old sets again. I recently built the older version of the fire station set 347 after finding the instructions in a box at my mothers house. :-D AH!! the memories of a happy childhood.

what an unbelivable story :o yet another case of Ebay being used for fraud. was he also selling these sets through Bricklink? Surely this cannot be a good thing for the reputation of bricklink and all the genuine AFOL's that use it to sell bricks. I find this type of greed realy sad :(

My kids are 4 and 7 and both of them love to play with lego but they also like TV cycling and CBBC web sites. I think the important thing is that they have a good balance between all forms of play. I think that as a lego fan myself it gives my children an I some common ground where we can play together they like to play with my creations and they ask for help with their creations This builds a good bond between parent and child which is something a lot of kids who are just stuck infront of a games console sadley do not have. Computers and TV are a huge part of todays life but as a parent you need to take a resonsible attitude to what they can have access to.

Thanks Guys I've had a great day my wife got me a Technic Tractor Puller It was a set I found in a local department store it must have been retired years ago! still its mine now. I also got this great card from my daughter it was hand made with lego plates on it.

I saw this X-box on brickshelf and it is quite small. however people will pay silly money for unsual items on E-Bay :'( best of luck to the guy!

I must admit I was surprised to see lego in Boots I was looking for Baby toys for a friend. I think they only have it in the larger stores.

I was in Boots in Milton Keynes today and noticed that they have quite a few sets in their buy 3 get the cheapest free offer. The offer included some of the new viking sets and some of the construction sets.
