  1. Awesome work
  2. Nice moc with the Armada soldiers, cannon looks good too
  3. This is really very good. The colour combination works great
  4. Rise of planet of the apes
  5. The forklift in this set looks the closest to the real thing, alot like the one I get to use at work. Only the rollcage could be improved using the new piece thats on the recycling truck set
  6. What are you using as a reference for the uniform details and designs? Looking very nice by the way.
  7. Its easy to be confused on the matter as the KGL wore the same redcoat uniform as the English soldiers. They also had a light infantry detachment in dark green like the 95th rifles except they wore dark grey breaches. The actual 95th rifles of Sharpe fame were holding a position to the right of the farm called the sandpit.
  8. Thats a very good technique to try. It will take a while to make a large army airbrushing all the details on the torsos
  9. Thanks for the review of this set. Its on my wanted list for this year
  10. Nice looking decals. What type of sticker are you looking to use to apply them?
  11. Fantastic moc. So many great details and great use of colours. Thanks for sharing your friends creation with us
  12. Very nice view looking out through the cannon blasted walls. "Held by the English"??? La Haye Sainte was garrisoned by soldiers of the Kings German Legion who yes are all very much Germans not English. Those English chaps stood on the ridge behind the farm. Good luck with the contest though
  13. Thanks. Ive been a bit quiet on the lego scene for a little while.I have been reworking my army to 2 line, 1 light regiments and the foot chasseurs of the imperial guard. Ive also been experimenting with some fun fur for bearskins for my guard infantry. Hopefully will be posting some pics soon.
  14. Yes at last a new hospital. The ambulance is a little dissapointing though as it seems too small. Mining theme? Rock raiders are coming to city now. Very american styled hard hats on the miners but not much else new.
  15. Yes i was sent this video in an email too. Very impressive layout. Would be an interesting challenge to make some moving cars and trucks in a lego train layout similar to what is done here.
  16. Im looking forward to seeing some completed figures. Your molded pieces are very good.
  17. Great work on this moc. I love the piston design.
  18. "I need to update my fishing boat after all these years" thought Edward... So here it is Its based off the older style wooden fishing boats. The hatch reveals a hold full of fish on ice. lowering the net Enjoy.
  19. A really beautiful ship and at under 80p a much better job than the Lego Company have done.
  20. Ah good old officeworks. I used alot of the sticker sheets from there. Havnt found anything similar in the stores here in Belgium but have started using vinyl A4 sticker paper which you can order on Amazon. It does the job nicely. I like the pub design so far. Dont forget the pokie machines
  21. Not at the moment but I will take some new ones soon. Thanks mate. I see New Mannum is coming along nicely
  22. For Captain Green Hair Heres the template for the horse blanket. It needs to be printed at 5.5cm in length to fit corectly. I normaly resize the image in msword to do so and offcourse colours can be added via ms paint. Ive even added a leopardskin print to one for a trumpeter as seen below. The front pieces are cut separetly from the back and attach to the horse with just the top edge resting under the saddle. Ive found a vinyl sticker paper works very well for these and my figures decals. It provides a glossy finnish and better strength in a thinner paper. Cheers
  23. I will post a template on here tommorow for you Green Hair. Leg is getting much better thanks bonaparte
  24. Hi everyone. Ive been off the radar for a while now but I have some new work to show at last. After some major surgery on my leg ive been stuck in bed for a while so its given me some time to work on army. Its nearly complete just making some last touches and waiting on some more brickforge bayonets and woodys shakos from shapeways. Heres some Dutch Red lancers of the guard ive finnished. More photos can be found on my flickr page hereMy link Cheers everyone
  25. The figure escaping the cage most likely is Joshamee Gibbs so take a look at his hair. The hairpiece on the minifigure is grey with a small ponytail at the back just like his. So it is close to a periwig but not exactly the same.
