  1. No. On this photo we can see easily that the switch of the battery box is on the rear of the excavator.
  2. The chassis is 7L wide : 3x2L (cylinder) + 1 (1 gear to reach the crankshaft).
  3. Yeah of course ! ^^ The cheaper, the better ! :D But I'm still not sure it will be available for $150. :-S
  4. What a great function ! -_-' I excpect the 8043 to cost about $160-170. We will see. :)
  5. May be. Dunno. Actually, we see some play when we use the 2 LA's. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFw3UoniYCE => 0'56'' => 1'26''
  6. Exactly. There is a little play, because there is only 4 dog-clutchs in the dark gray clutch.
  7. This is a 30,000/35,000 part MOC : Your model seems smaller, by far. As a consequence, I would have said it have about 20,000. But I may be wrong. +1 Anyway, congratulations ! And thanks for sharing ! :)
  8. I have 5 Technic sets which hange on the walls of my room (8466, 8145, 8653, 8458, 8674).
  9. TLG do not use these exchange rate. Many of youre price euro prices are wrong. Sure.
  10. Thanks for the very comprehensive review. :) But IMO, that is not a good set : 1) Lego already did 2 landspeeder, and the second is very similar to this one. 2) No new minifig 3) As you said, the building is sometime strange. O_o 4) You have to "break" the lightsabers to put them in the compartment So, personally, I would have given 4/10 to that set.
  11. I have this set too. And I agree : it is one of the best Star Wars set ever. :o Thanks for the review. :)
  12. @ Tomacwhite : Here is what I wrote on TB's :
  13. I asked this question to the person that supplied me the pic of the excavator. Now, I'm waiting for his answer.

    UCS AT-AT

When my executor is finished (I just started it), I plan to build an UCS AT-AT. I want to build it bigger than the 10178, but a bit smaller than Rocko's AT-AT. Good luck for your AT-AT.
  15. Yeah, that's exactly what I thought ! Dark bluish gray is not my favorite, but the truck is great anyway.
  16. And so, it seems I was right ! ^^ Time will tell.
  17. O_o I must say that I'm a bit surprised. Anyway, this is still a bad set, IMO. Even with PF, it is more Racer than Technic.
  18. No. It seems there is no PF for this (bad) set.
  19. Thanks ! ;) As I'm a big UCS fan, I don't know why I didn't think to the 7191 earlier. The mechanism of the wings is great ! edit : Roncanator : you're talking about the UCS version, isn't it ?
  20. Does someone have any pics of this mechanism ?
  21. You make me want to buy it !
  22. Yeah, longer pneumatic cylinders would be great. But for compressor and valves, I think the current ones are quite good. With Sariel's autovalve, you can make very efficient pneumatic systems. For example, Nico71's dozer : http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=3364140 Underhood, there are 2 motorized compressor and 2 valves. Everything is remoted controlled. And you see, it's quite small. Building Technic MOCs requires to rack one's brain, otherwise, it is not Technic anymore ! I must also say that I'm a bit feed up to see PF everywhere...
  23. Yeah, this seller has many PNITS (last week, I bought him dark red plates). Do you know were people get these PNITS ? BTW, these two awesome MOCs are not so big. So, you should consider doing a building instruction for them. I think that many people would apreciate that. ;)
  24. How much time do you think it will take ? O_o (and many hundreds of hours did you spent to disassemble all the sets and to sort all the parts ?) One whole year ? ^^ Because you may have more than 100 sets... OMG, I would die if I had to do this.
