Fantastic. Simply amazing and that's just the minifigures and animals. Great job lego.

LEGO made a HUGE 1:20,000th scale or something of Fenway Park and sold it for $10,000 the money going to the Jimmy Fund.

New parts & new use of colors
The Green Brick Giant replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have been wanting the plat with the one center stud for years and years! it seems like such an obvious piece to make and they never did. Now they just need to release the games to the rest of the world. -
What next for Pick-a-brick
The Green Brick Giant replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Only need more minifigure pieces. Considering the price will go through the roof again all I'm looking for is minifigures. Also more food like hot dogs. -
How much do replacement parts cost?
The Green Brick Giant replied to user's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I had several sets with screwed up pieces or missing pieces a few years ago and those are always always free. Hell I bought one set I thought was fine from TRU and it was missing a bag, i listed every part I was missing in that bag (at least 50) and they sent me every piece for free. I then lost a few pieces and asked for replacements but it was only two pieces and they didn't make me pay. I think it depends on how often you use it, and how big the pieces are. So don't abuse the system and it should always be free when needed. -

Review: 4762 Rescue from the Merpeople
The Green Brick Giant replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I love this set, I got it for 20% off! Woohoo! The only reason I bought it was for the minifigures, and some of the odd colored things. Love this set, and since it came out I wish we would have an Atlantis theme or sub theme to Adventures or Pirates. -
Big MOC - Agents HQ

I think I'm losing it, I thought I replied to this. Great job, I was thinking you wouldn't have enough dark blue to make the sets look nice, but you did a fine job! Bravo! -
[Review] 66308 Star Wars 3in1 Superpack

7668 is my favorite Star Wars set in the last several years, it's the only one I have bought too, it has such a great minifigure design. -
LEGO Star Wars 2009 Sets and Rumours
The Green Brick Giant replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
They are very white and clearly some upcoming battle pack sets. My only hope is that they are based on the classic movies because I hate the clone war sets. -
Best LEGO Train Ever Made
The Green Brick Giant replied to paintballman413's topic in LEGO Train Tech
My favorite... http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4559-1 I always wanted it as a kid, but never did get it. I also like the Classic Train and the "Holiday" Train. Emerald Night... It doesn't seem LEGOy enough for me, it's too something, and it's not even close to being a full train. -
Latest updates on LEGO set sales
The Green Brick Giant replied to gylman's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
^ My favorite is Amazon USA also has some other sets "on sale", but they jacked the normal prices up. The Police helicopter is $8.35 but now they claim the normal price is $10.99. Still on sale, but I hate when they lie about the real price. Lego Volkswagen Beetle is also $91 instead of $120. LEGO Speed Racers: Grand Prix is $45 LEGO Castle Troll Warship is $65 -
What licensed themes will end next year?
The Green Brick Giant replied to legoindy01's topic in LEGO Licensed
Really? That's quite strange. The Star Wars news isn't shocking, it's been known for awhile, why is everyone acting like it is? It was supposed to end last year and continued and will for at least another 2 years. There is no reason why LEGO and Star Wars can't work a deal out if they both want to. If LEGO needs to they will just raise the prices some more through the roof because Star Wars fans will still buy them up by the truckload. -
7898 Cargo Train Deluxe Variation

I don't think anyone has the flat sided one, that is from a promo catalog released months before the set was. -
What licensed themes will end next year?
The Green Brick Giant replied to legoindy01's topic in LEGO Licensed
SpongeBob is dead I think for sure. IJ and Star Wars will not end next year. However the rate the Clone Wars sets are coming out maybe it will end in 2011, who knows? (I hope it does) One non license theme that's ending is Power Miners, I think LEGO is just throwing all the sets they planned out this year. -
I actually really like the new cap look.

LEGO made several mistakes in the new Summer 2009 USA catalog dealing with how many minifigures are in the IJ sets. They make it seem like you get an extra minifigure the stupid way they worded it. The reason that set has the random number of 1877 I think is because the $20 IJ set has 187 pieces and there was a typo in the mistake and another 7 was added. Also the $11 set doesn't make a difference, Walmart and TRU will still charge $13-$15 for the set.

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
The Green Brick Giant replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
LEGO has done several interviews talking about saving money, and one of the more important ways they did that was to cut back on development time for new themes. It saves money several ways, and they had to do it because kids change their minds on what they want quicker today than ever before. This way less themes fail. -
Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
The Green Brick Giant replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Some neat stuff, however it no longer takes 2-2.5 years to make new sets. LEGO can now make sets within half that time. -
[Review] 7778 Midi-scale Millenium Falcon
The Green Brick Giant replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This set makes no sense to me, I have no clue why LEGO bothered making it.
