Yeah Mexico is so much better than China. I'll just copy and paste what i said from a topic I made by mistake. :) I like how they have talked about the companies horrible years (2000-2004), that development of sets is now only about a year, and that the LEGO Board games will be coming to the USA in 2010, which makes me very happy. My favorite part is where TRU said they cared more about LEGO than the company (During the bad years). They care so much that they charge 20%-35% more!

Very Very nice. I like the scale, it's not massive and it fits with the older style of cars. Great work! As a gardener... need more greenery.

Interesting New York Times Article
The Green Brick Giant replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Damnit, I quickly checked to see if anyone had posted it. :-/ -
I'm only halfway done, but they have talked about the companies horrible years (2000-2004), that development of sets is now only about a year, and that the LEGO Board games will be coming to the USA in 2010. Goes on and talks about the "purists" and yadda yadda... Oh there is a fun part where TRU said they cared more about LEGO than the company. They care so much that they charge 20%-35% more! Link

That sounds like an ad for the Stargate Atlantis movie (that has been delayed). The minifigure looks awesome! Hope the other sets are better than the one we have seen.

Awesome, great choice of color.

MOCs: 4-piece (!) blender, popcorn stand, and more!
The Green Brick Giant replied to Still Raindrop's topic in LEGO Town
I love the blender. If for some reason LEGO ever needs a blender in a set I think they will steal that. The roof on the yellow building doesn't quite look right to me. I don't know why. -
New Brickmaster Set

This is the picture... I hope... -
Considering we will never actually be able to buy them I'm happy none of them are that great. However the Steam Roller is quite neat.

New Brickmaster Set
The Green Brick Giant replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Are any Disney themes, besides TS, being released in January? I figured all the sets will be released with the movies. So Atlantis or Toy Story 1-2? Fixed in bold. Also having issues with the picture. Trust me the picture sucks. -

Ohh... like I said the picture is tiny., there is a chance the piece count is 69. -
Adult Collecting vs. Play
The Green Brick Giant replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Collecting to me is you leave it in the box, and I only have one set in the box, that's McDonalds'. I bought three of them. Sadly the one in the box had a lollipop melt to the box. it doesn't look too bad but still. -
New Brickmaster Set
The Green Brick Giant replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That's what I'm thinking too. Are there any other new 2010 themes that come out in January? It has to be an Atlantis set and LEGO is extremely insanely paranoid. I'll hopefully have the TINY (It's like an inch tops) up later. It's set 10014 and has I think 59 pieces. -
LOOK DOWN FOR PICTURE I got my LEGO Magazine and because my birthday in in October I get the upgraded Brickmaster Magazine. In it they have the order form to get the sets. They have the Star Wars Gunship for Nov - Dec 2009 which I think we have seen. More interesting they have a tiny picture of a Creator Quad for March and April, it's yellow, black and grey. Jan-Feb is listed as "TOP SECRET EXCLUSIVE!", while May-June and July-August are just "EXCLUSIVE SET!" That leads me to believe that the Jan-Feb set will be of a new theme, why else would it be "top secret"?

REVIEW: 4511 High Speed Train
The Green Brick Giant replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I like the set and never knew it was such a small set and so cheap. That's what new train is missing. The white is very nice, I think it's the first white train. -
I don't believe it. The sets never sold well besides the castle so I see no need to bring them back even with a game. LEGO Batman was released when the sets were dieing out.

Any Idea When the Next Pirate Sets will be announced?
The Green Brick Giant replied to Dr. Steve's topic in LEGO Pirates
My Guess is that Pirates will come out in April next year. LEGO used to release sets January and then July, but that has changed. They now release them January-April-Julyish. I think it depends on when the movie sets are coming out. LEGO has always released sets in January. Why aren't we getting new sets every week!? Because that would take away from LEGO sales. You get new sets 1-2 times a year. Most themes are once a year, but some, like City, get two different releases. The 2010 Pirate sets will most likely be out in November at LEGO Stores and December at TRU. I never understood the rush. I still don't think I have bought a single 2009 set yet, I wait for sales and clearances. -
Greatest Find At PAB/Make-Your-Own-Minifig/etc
The Green Brick Giant replied to Andeh's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'm pretty sure not all the stores have that. -
Mine was... http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4561-1 A Load of garbage, but it was cheap and ran. That was back in 2003.

Now taking YOUR ideas for NEW PARTS - LAST DAYS!
The Green Brick Giant replied to Bonaparte's topic in LEGO Pirates
It's not new, but I don't know what happened to it, bring back the compass. That would be a great Pirate piece. -
2010 themes and sets?
The Green Brick Giant replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in General LEGO Discussion
After the mess with the Star Wars Hasbro lawsuit I doubt LEGO would ever make Impulse sets for any license, the best you can hope for is a battle back. -
Can Indy and Prince of Persia coexist?
The Green Brick Giant replied to Derek's topic in LEGO Licensed
How about you tell JCC the same thing instead of picking on me because I'm based on facts? Thanks. -
Can Indy and Prince of Persia coexist?
The Green Brick Giant replied to Derek's topic in LEGO Licensed
No, I'm seeign you fine, you are seeing the facts wrong. When there used to be only around 100 "classic" sets back before 1999 no one complained there weren't enough. Now there are 200 "classic" theme sets and some movie sets and the whole company is going down the drain! Also what is it? Did LEGO have a good balance or is it overwhelming? You complain about too many theme sets, when there really weren't, and that there is a good balance. Can you make up your mind? There are more City sets this year than IJ, the amount of Star Wars sets this year is unheard of. However there are 20 City sets and 19 Star Wars sets that can be easily found in stores. How is that more? 1990 had 13 regular release Town sets, 16 sets in 1996, none really in 2000-2002, 21 set in 2008, 20 this year. Say it with me.... THEY.... MAKE... MORE.... SETS....
