  1. LEGO messes up a lot, it's normally always dealing with minifigures. However the new way they list the minifigures is very sneaky, I don't like it. They make it seem you get an extra minifigure than you do get.
  2. I set up my camera in front of the TV and run the DVD. The quality is bad, but it's better than nothing.
  3. i thought the revolving door was great in the first set it was in, the train station, however it's gotten to the "ehh" point. i do like the sliding door, that's really neat. The coffee machine is classic part of LEGO, I remember having one in the early or mid 90s. :) The yellow seaplane is nice because it mixes new pieces with the old fashion style, plus out of all the crap we have seen that is clearly the best.
  4. I don't mind the water thing, they can mix water and mining. However what the hell is going on with the new blue? I understand LEGO adds a new color for the future years of themes to add something new... but this blue? A little would work, but that jail, while a great idea, is a random mess. The little set that was shown at Target.com looks nice because only one or two pieces are that blue color. So far 2010 is a disaster for me.
  5. It looks like the octopus bottom was then made into a minifigure bottom. it's a brand new piece.
  6. That doesn't make sense, you want it to look different, but at the same time make it look the same.
  7. Squidman has a new meaning in Atlantis than it does in Space Police.
  8. Interesting... sounds like an ad in movie form.
  9. Same old same old, very disappointing. I'll be saving a lot of money. The tanker is nice and the seaplane is awesome. However the seaplane will probably be like $20 considering the stupid little post office one was $15. The Fire helicopter wold be a lot better without that lame new front piece, that looks horrible. The airport looks like a better version of the the last one, but the last one was so bad that isn't saying anything.
  10. Sadly I think the days of yellow minifigures is fastly coming to a close. In 2011 the only yellow guys we will get will be City, Space, Castle and either Atlantis or Power Miners. It's pathetic.
  11. I think word was that it would be "action figure" and not minifigure scale.
  12. The better question is do you think they will lower the prices? LEGO had the green and grey ones for $7USD, maybe even $6, for several months when the new all grey ones (that you think would be cheaper) were $12! That's insane.
  13. Do people read what I say? i said design wise i consider Star Wars to be a failure this year. And Pirates isn't a rumour! The LEGO Company set out people to tell the internets that Pirates are done for, for now.
  14. I hope everyone is sitting down for this... Star Wars and Pirates Star Wars to me this year was a Clone Wars mess. Sure it made money, but they made 25 Clone War sets and I think 90% of them are garbage. But that's from a designer builder point of view. Pirates is clearly a failure, if it wasn't LEGO would have rushed to get a few more sets out for next summer. I think they didn't like how the sails... sales were and in the summer the decided not to bother making a new wave of sets for the next year. I have no proof to this but they made several new pieces, including the firing cannons, and the half island piece, which are pretty pointless in any other theme.
  15. I have them on my flickr... http://www.flickr.com/photos/9824337@N06/
  16. Those are the pictures, that's all we have.
  17. Let me guess these sets will probably not be released in the USA.
  18. This is why i saved them. :)
  19. You will also have a set that is most likely the same price as the massive Fire Station from this year. The pig set is nice, but with the LEGO Farm pricing I'm thinknig $50+.
  20. Try three waves in 7 years, 2004, 2007 and 2010, it's always every 3 years because the children love them or something. Or in the last 11 years there have been four fire stations and then this year's super fire station. I think my main complaint isn't that the building is the same, it's the vehicles are. I think they should skip on the jeep, because it's exactly the same as always, and include a helicopter and landing pad! Oh yeah and some side walls would be nice.
  21. What I'm thinknig is that the gift cards will be usable online, not that you get points for the online thing.
  22. Only 18 dollars? not bad.
  23. I am three stamps away from getting $20 back, they better not get rid of the program yet!
  24. Wow... These sets don't suck, but they aren't new. Most of the time sure the fire station looks the same, but they add the new pieces and make the things look newer. This time it looks like they stuck the second floor of the last one and stuck it on the side. There is a fire pole, but still. The set will most likely be $70, and there isn't really anything new to it, might as well just keep the odl one around another year. The boat looks like several other fire boats but then LEGO tried to throw on every other piece it makes on top. I care more about the airport stuff. EDIT - Klaus-Dieter is right, this would make a really neat hospital design, obviously change the color.
  25. Wow... this is incredibly stupid, but that is following with LEGO's new ways. Not designed to continue? There was one freaking ship! ONE! How hard is it to make a few more ships and some more bases and such. What a waste of time and money on LEGOs part. They make a new cannon, new island pieces and not use them? Stupid! All I can think is that sales were not as high as they had hoped.
