  2. That is an awesome set too. A friend of mine was over and he saw that and loved it.
  3. I have never read the books and only saw the first movie, but to me most of those sets are Harry Potter overall sets. There are three castles coming out this year, PoP, Kingdoms, and HP. I think it was a really dumb idea to have a Castle redo this year.
  4. The Fire Truck is amazing. I have to say 10027-1: Train Engine Shed. That is easily the best of the decade.
  5. I like this set, it seems like it would be a lot of fun for children. When I first saw it I htought it was a lame tank, but the fact the wheels turn into thrusters is very cool.
  6. I have a few pieces that look like a candy melted on them, what should I use?
  7. There are no real prices until the sets come out. Ben 10 sets were officially at $17.99 and now they are $14.99 when they were released. We will see the prices at the Toy Fairs coming up within the next 6 weeks.
  8. Did I win yet?
  9. I live 20 minutes north of Enfield. From what I can gather they are now made in Mexico. Europeans also get weird LEGO things that are never sold in the USA. Europeans got The Good Wizard Impulse, they got two years of FREE sets with a new paper, sets that can't be found else where. They got the "board" games before the USA. People in the USA would pay more to have those sets here, LEGO should be fair and make all sets for all places. It shouldn't be hard to have a limited run of sets for LEGO S@H. So the train sets come out in August... so that means May.
  10. LEGO is great and will send you the pieces out real quick. I have never heard of this mistake through, so much for weighing the boxes.
  11. Then don't buy it. I don't get that. I don't like Star Wars (for the most part) or Bionicle, but I leave those areas alone. You save on money. I think the last Aqua Raider sets were better, but Atlantis is still better than Hydronauts or whatever from the late 90s.
  12. Prince of Persia by a mile, the new pieces are useful, the minifigures are still minifigures. The sets are a little bland and empty, but the colors and pieces make up for it.
  13. I have been trying to say that for years. Frankly Europeans have no right to complain because Europe gets several sets that the USA never sees every year. Also the $1 to 1 Euro rate for LEGOs is dead, LEGO has been increasing the prices more in the USA each year than in Europe. That said, what do you mean by "manufacture costs"? Last I knew nothing of LEGO was made in the USA, there is something in Mexico, and the third party shipping company in the USA, along with some LEGO Offices, but nothing else.
  14. $150 for a train! I wish I bought some extra 9V engines. It could easily be $150 and $180, either way that is way WAY WWAAAAAYYYY too much! Even as a Christmas present. I'm guessing the station is $50 and the crossing is how much?
  15. There is only one track between the station crossing because most people only have one train. It's a redo on an 80s set I think was the same way. Also I'm hoping the 3 minifigures for the passenger train is to cheap the cost down to like $100. The $80 to $90 trains seem to only have 3-4 minifigures when the $120 sets have about 6-7 and the $200 ones have 11.
  16. I don't have a lot of that one, with or without flesh.
  17. All Americans would like that.
  18. I actually don't have a lot with the pot leaves on it. However yes, I don't get why LEGO can't come up with new City pieces, they come up with new molds for new themes all the time, just print some new faces, or use some of the Atlantis faces with City and make some new torsos too!
  19. ^ Could also be that the smaller sets were shipped to the USA first and the larger sets were shipped to Europe. So until there are enough for both places to go around they didn't add all the sets to both.
  20. Also 100 items are now gone from the sales section so the stores have no proof they were ever on sale.
  21. I want parents like that, however it would explain a lot about where the world is. To Parents A video game system is a better bargain because more than one person can play it. Also the parents will buy their own games for it. A LEGO train is just a Lego train.
  22. It explains why the set is only 25 Euros.
  23. Which is my problem with the new system of trains, the cost so much children can't afford them!
  24. There isn't that many, LEGO is just replacing the old with the new. Kingdoms is Castle, this is probably instead of Agents aka a new "action" theme, PoP will replace IJ. Frankly LEGO should make as many themes as they like, we will all just go bankrupt.
