It's neat that it transforms but I rather have Exo-Force back. Underwater walking subs is a little stupid.

World Racers Summer 2010
The Green Brick Giant replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I agree, but TT now are $6 matchbox cars that you can build, they are rather boring now, but still fine. I like racers that have minifigures or at least half a minifigure. -
Am I the only one who loved World City? It is an awesome set and the brick built doors are nice.

Review: 30061 Attack Wagon
The Green Brick Giant replied to metalandi's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I can't believe you paid 9.5 Euros. I hope that included shipping. Anyways not much to say besides that the minifigure looks great. -
I really like the Yellow truck, and the figures that come with it. However none of them look like LEGO.

I want a black bear, all they need is to make the polar bear mold in black. :) Also I would like a chicken / turkey piece of an animal and not the food. And sheep/goat.

I love this set! The Adventure desert theme was amazing, I wish I had more of the sets. -
Does Costco sell Lego?
The Green Brick Giant replied to Ratshot's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
It's not worth joining for just the LEGOs. I go to BJs and they had a few $30 sets for $25 last year, really not worth it. -
And it looks like crap to me. heaven forbid I don't agree with everyone else.

Supposedly LEGO slapped some people around in China and fixed the issue. I have to say... ehh to the sets. The dark green guys all have the same torso.

Lego flashlight policeman?
The Green Brick Giant replied to escortmad79's topic in General LEGO Discussion
From what i remember they were made for like 6 months and then LEGO realized it was a horrible idea and started producing the set with a normal minifigure instead. -
Being that I have been exploring paganism, and have gone to several paganish events in the last month, and might go to another one on the 28th, I say grow a sense of humour. More so because the part with the rabbit is pretty true. Being that christians stole the rabbit from older pagan based cultures to use on Easter because the rabbit is part of springtime and new life / fertility.

MOD: Santa Fe Super Chief pab made cars
The Green Brick Giant replied to mrblue's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Very nice job, nice and smooth look. I never did understand why the engine was red, yellow and grey when the cabs are all grey. Seems a little wierd for the real life company to do that. -
I fully expect to get EVERYTHING that LEGO showed in that drawing! That's the point of the set right?!?! $160 will get you a monorail, a train, a bus, a taxi, a station, and hell the buildings in the back! It will contain 15,000 pieces and LEGO will sell it for $150-$160! Really this thread is a joke. Stop reading into the pictures, they are just a basic idea of what we will get using current sets. That's why the city square was just a bunch of old sets, that's why the public transport has the correct bus, taxi, and even the old monorail train.

I want to join the pagan orgy! Anyways what is up with LEGO still screwing up color shades? This set is an example of why I don't buy as many sets these days, poor quality and too much. $10 for 81 pieces and no minifigures?!

Hi, I never introduced myself...
The Green Brick Giant replied to The Green Brick Giant's topic in Hello! My name is...
Yep, I live next to Springfield and visit Northampton / Amherst often. -
It's concert art! What you see isn't what you will be getting! I don't know why everyone thinks the set, whatever won, will be exactly like what was show in a cartoon drawing.

REVIEW: 8683 Minifig series 1 -
The Green Brick Giant replied to CopMike's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Except it became "Kill the cheerleader, save the show", after season 1. -
Hi. I realized I have been here a little while and never introduced myself. My real name is David, I'm 24 and live in Western Massachusetts, USA. We have three LEGO Stores and I don't live near any of them because everyone thinks the state of Massachusetts ends 25 miles outside of Boston. Anyways.... Some of the first sets I remember having are the Wolfman drawbridge set and an Ice Planet set, and a set of six different theme small sets in one box. I love LEGO 9v trains, I have a huge amount of track that I will never need but I figured it was cheap and i should buy it now. I'm more of a City / Castle person however I love underwater themes (Aquazone, divers, new Aqua Raiders), but not really Atlantis. Now-a-days I only buy LEGO sets on sale because I don't have any extra money and I rather spend it on dates, clothing, going out. However I'm not in a dark age I still love LEGO. It's more LEGO's prices are insane and not worth it. I do a lot of gardening, I have bought a ton of seeds recently and now just need to wait for the ground to thaw to plant them. I seemed to be one of the few people in the state to get tomatoes last "summer", yes I'm bragging. I'm a big nature freak. I like old school video games, Sim City, Civ 2, Mario and Yoshi's Island, stuff like that. New video games seem to be lame redos of classics or shooting games and I don't like that. My Flickr that has some MOC. The yellow building that my cat is sitting on was actually gonig to be for last year's Classic Town Contest, but I never finished it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/9824337@N06/s...57611925374321/

How open are you about your Lego passion?
The Green Brick Giant replied to Fugazi's topic in General LEGO Discussion
How out of the LEGO closet? Oddly enough all my LEGOs are shoved into a closet. I'm out and pride, in both meanings. I don't know how my I dated someone briefly who loved LEGOs until his junior/senior year of high school (2006). It seems he stopped right before the color change / color quality mess. We even went to a LEGO thingie together, It was a nice two week relationship. We are now friends and briefly talk about LEGOs because we have 100 other things on our minds. I used to wait a little while to bring up LEGOs, but gay guys are little kids stuck in adult bodies and I haven't met one yet that didn't like LEGOs or go "Ohh... a LEGO train!" -
Wow, very nice and large. Fits well with the skyscraper next to it. A fire station needs beds, a game area, and a kitchen.
-
Mine was 4561, and the set is horrible. Just probably the worst train LEGO has made, I hate it. I bought it because it was $50 at Target.com in 2002 or so. $10 for shipping and $3 for tax. I really wish I bought the cargo crane from World City, I don't know why I didn't.

In another month we will get word that it's really the city park that won!
