So cool! Can't wait for this to come around to the US. (also gotta love that simple naming scheme... first we had the "BIONICLE Hero Pack" and now we have the "BIONICLE Villain Pack" =P)

Am I the only one looking forward to the gold? I think it looks really cool. And it rounds out the trifecta of metallic colors; silver, gunmetal, now gold.

It could be Russian only, or maybe I'm just bitter about all those HF polybags we never got. Regardless, I specifically left one set unpurchased for just such an occasion.

That's exactly what I said in my review. The tail snapping is just straight up fun. Plus, it's not like old-school Rahi were that well off on the poseability department anyway.

I still hold much love for 2007. They nailed the underwater theme. Maybe a bit too much rubber (and ignoring the lime joints fiasco), but fantastic designs, and a lot of diversity despite the introduction of the divisive "Inika build" only the previous year. Plus, the culmination of a great story. 2006 might have felt dark for the sake of being dark, but 2007 built on that appropriately, and gave us a heck of a finale. I've liked all years of BIONICLE to varying degrees, but 2007 was probably my favorite, at least in terms of post-whatever arbitrary time marker we're using. -

Because, according to the playtesters (whether or not you believe them), there's an Ekimu set in the future, so he's the only one who would fit that sort of description.

We'll get a sticky thread when there's actual concrete information, such as a list from a trusted source or an image of some kind. Be grateful there's a place to discuss this at all; given EB's general standing within the community, I'm amazed LEGO doesn't crack down harder on them for it. Anyway, just give me a titan. Something 25-30 dollars, single figure, that's all I want.

No, that's the one we were just talking about, presumably. For some reason they have separate listings currently, but the date on "Gathering of the Tor" is set for November 26th, two days after the "Graphic Novel 1" is due, so more than likely they're the same thing. Also I just built MMvsSG and I'll save my thoughts for the review but mmmmmmmmmm mm that Mask of Creation piece. So good.

I think the "great cataclysm" reference was probably a bit overkill, but I think other small winks and nods are fine enough. If they were going to do something COMPLETELY new and different, these characters wouldn't have even the same names or anything. The elements are the same by design, it's just how they use that to shape the story into its own identity that will inform how it is going forward. And I totally giggled at the reference to the "other" masks of power. That was nice.

I notice that they finally call Lewa's drained mask the "Mask of Jungle" as opposed to "Jungle Mask" =P.

Y'know, that reminds me, I still don't actually have Protector of Jungle. Only 2015 set I'm missing. I keep waiting to see if there's going to be another GWP.

That's been said ever since we first got a glimpse of the Mask of Creation, so since these are done in the same style, it makes sense that more people would see it now, too =P.

Ah, that would explain it. It's also not in their videos section, but there's some others that aren't. Poor updating, obviously, but hopefully it's something that will get put back in.
