Wouldn't it be the other way around? Tahu was the one they promoted heavily (because red sets always focus test well, but still) so that's why he's getting the votes. Besides, they'll probably release more of their alternate models as the year goes along. I too want to see Molenua.

Could be a typo, I guess, but it is more specific than just their "father to son" thing... maybe some of the other ones will be female. We've been over this, so I'll just say yeesh, guy can't be flippant for two seconds anywhere these days =P.

I guess I was more wondering why they didn't include them in the final renders elsewhere, i.e. were they actually planning on doing anything with the tabs, but you're right, it's more related to the way they fold than anything else.

Completely unrelated and late to the party, but I notice that the hi-res box shots we got the other day all have some strange tabs at the bottom of them... was this some planned feature that got removed, or what?

Aaaaand you blew it. I'm all for that style, especially since I think calling them "tracings" is incredibly reductive and runs counter to the sentiment you were previously agreeing with.

I think you're still misreading it... that Q&A image you posted very clearly says that what happened is allowed. They clarified something in their TOS that would otherwise be confusing. Realistically what they should have done is modify the TOS itself to reflect the clarification, but it's definitely not against their own rules, or at least their intent of the rules. Anyway, looking forward to the books and graphic novels, it's about time we get some more media up in here.

Well, and entire generations of Islanders/Protectors living and dying and passing down the Prophecy of Heroes. But yeah =P. That said, given all of the other references to time, it's certainly a motif, if not per se a theme.

They are called "timeless heroes", and I'm pretty sure there's a reference of summoning them "from time", but really, these can mean a lot of things; "through time" would have been more specific than either! Looking forward to seeing how it plays out regardless, especially in regards to a physical Mask of Time.

And the fanbase always knows what they're talking about =P. Probably not for another month or two. Whenever they finalize the activity book render is when we'll get to see it. Release is supposed to be August, so assuming no delays, June-ish seems right.

Technically this is just for constraction, which is why it's a bit odd that system fans come on with pre-established notions about the line already. Unlikely, since these get pretty pricey. Depends on what I can afford =P.

His jetpack could be some two-piece pre-molded monstrosity, but we'll see. Anyway, both of these look good, although we're getting pricey; with Vader already, there's a lot going into this. I hope it works out for them.

Greivous is legiiiit. Obi-Wan is actually a lot better than I thought he would be; going with his Clone Wars attire helps, much less weird than Luke. But yeah, gonna have to see what I can budget for these...

Pssssssst we reviewed Tahu - Master of Fire you should check it out Shameless plugging aside, I can see why people might have expected more from the fight, even if it really wasn't so bad. The Manas got punted around pretty easily in 2001, and they were enormous.
