  1. As I said previously, I have spent loads on LEGO over the past couple of years, but a lot less this year. But the point about how much is spent on other hobbies in entirely valid. Every time I go on Martial Arts seminar, which is roughly once a month, I write off
  2. Anyone got any suggestions for alternative activities whilst the world cup is on. When more of the population than normal act like idiots and the TV schedules change? Any better ideas for time occupation during world cup season? Hara-Kiri springs readily to mind! Kudos to Sky One, though, for intelligent scheduling for 24
  3. Nice to know, thanks jof. But I find Woolworths have a very limited range anyway.
  4. Very variable. When I forst got in to SW LEGO, I must have spent an incredible amount on getting all the sets I missed. So far this year I've only bought the January SW releases and the Batman Dragster. Money has become a problem, but (hopefully) you can add the cost of the Sailbrage and ISD by the end of the year.
  5. Yes, "exponentially" is an English word. I reckon we should just celebrate our 1000th member. Maybe give them free EB membership or something ;-)
  6. Yep. While building him I just wanted some traditional Japanese name. Then I found a wiki on Miyamoto Musashi and thought Musashi sounded cool. X-D Anyone remember or think of Daryl Musashi in The X-Files?
  7. Hul Hogan? Is he a wrestler-entertainer from the North of England? :-D
  8. Give 'im a chance! Honest mistake. Already apologised.
  9. I like what you've done to make his hands. Smart
  10. That's cool. Now can someone do a Town version (IE Beatles' MF heads)?
  11. Milton Keynes has a LEGO shop? I wander over there sometimes (great Jujitsu club at Stantonbury Campus). so will have to look it up. Can you explain roughly where it is, please? The Lego shop is in the Main shopping centre. Its in the newer area opposite Debenhams there are plenty of maps around. Thanks, I'll look it up sometime

  13. Put me down for one! Of all the OT sets, I really think this one needs a re-release. My mate has it (the only set he has that I haven't) and it looks sooooo impressive.
  14. Saw the DaVinci Code tonight. Was good. Maybe a bit too slow paced and too abridged from the book, though
  15. Welcome. 24 - Now there's an idea for LEGO. Or is too violent?
  16. :-D I like this. Sort of an unintentional MOC. As to pieces I've broken - thankfully few and far between. Nothing as an AFOL. Couple of things when far younger. Helicopter rotors seemed a little fragile, as did digger spades. Went through several of each. I had a really smart Technic car. I broke an essential part of the gearing for which I had no spare. No idea what the part is called, but it was sort of a two-hinge thing with axel holes on each end. I accidentally but teh end of an unrelated axel through one of holes at the double-hinge. Tried to drive forward - SNAP! That was the end of use of the best Technic set I had.
  17. That's impressive. Nice one!
  18. Although this is in community, I'd hope iut was still vaguely LEGO related. So, I'll say "J" - founder of a famous LEGO-website.
  19. That's cool. Thanks, Hobbes. Some of the comments made by other users are also quite funny.
  20. I don't even know what Britain's entry is!
  21. Ah, but Lord Maul is a practitioner of Teras Kasi - galactic Martial Arts, not Japanese Martial Arts.
  22. I can't have tattoos as I do Japanese Martial Arts.
  23. I was thinking... Eurobricks has reviews as just one element of the whole forum. How about seperating it from the forum main and have a directory tree to access themed reviews. So, like: Eurobricks - General Discussion -- Theatre --- Etc - Reviews Area -- Theatre --- Star Wars --- Batman --- Etc -- Castle and Pirates --- Castle --- Pirates -- Etc --- Etc Etc
  24. Actually, your Nurse recommends Paracetamol (mild analgesic) rather than Aspirin (anti-coagulant). That said, I'd rather have Tweek Girls than either!
  25. How do you "force" a Jedi Master to do anything? I can see the effect: "Work on me, your LEGO mind tricks will not!" *yoda* :-D But WHY NOT ENGLAND?????????????????????????????????????? What've we done to deserve exclusion. There's even a Englishman as a main character. How many French/Belgian/German/Austria/Latvian/Swedish/Danish/Lithuenian characters are there in Batman? undefined
